Walahi. It's a fragile set up. If Lesotho can be so comfortable playing us with all our vaunted fire power, it should tell us that it's not fire power that matters. Good tactics is everything.
This man obviously has nothing special to offer this team. Ver and over, he's not proved he has what it takes to face a tough team in Afcon KO stages and tactically outsmart them by hook, crook, or flair. He's just there. Unimpressive!!

There are supposed to be two people behind Iwobi in that midfield. So that Iwobi can connect with the Attackers. This idea of playing 2 midfielders because we have plenty attackers is just dumb
Imagine Bassey in middle cos nobody to deputize Iwobi. Smh.

Yea, Osimhen will always be our first choice whenever he's available. Anytime he plays, people feel his presence, he's just different from other strikers.
Osimhen
Iwobi

These two are super key

This team is missing that Victor Moses kind of player -- powerful player that bullies his way through
Exactly. That kind of player should be key to every afcon squad henceforth. We have none currently. And this is just Lesotho o. Naim we dey pack 80% of Team A for?

From midfield? There's no midfield bro
Lone Iwobi there. With Bassey assisting him. Where the others are i dunno. Lookman should be a teammate abeg. He's gotten our best chances so far. As for Two striker, e no dey work. Boniface shifted to middle more sha.

The RW is not threatening enough. Then the transition to the LW is slow. Need to be faster with that. As for Iwobi, Superb so far but i dunno if the presence of Victor and Awoniyi is not making him release chipped balls to them. Bassey has been okay so far. That middle though.

How much did you budget for the so called "panacea for poverty eradication"?

What happened to the almajiri schools the hated GEJ set up?

Is it a foreign foundation that will come and lift over 100m pupils and students out of the poverty? When did this responsibility stop being that of the Nigerian Leaders? Lol.

What can be done to bin the drums and trump culture of NFSC? That Club is not evolving or eager to do something new, modern, more attractive and participatory. Its so thick even vuvuzela couldn't chance it. I believe the time is ripe to do something fresh and more modern. Are they that bereft of ideas?

Again, what was Ellis’ body of work in 2023 that makes her more deserving of Coach of the yr?

Nigeria had a way more challenging path in the WWC than any other African team and left due to penalties. We played 3 top 10 teams, 2 of whom made it into the semifinals (England and Australia).

Randy definitely performed much better than Ellis. Not even close!
you have a point but winning wafcon will make her take this.

Coach of the year should be Desiree Ellis

GK of the year is undisputable Chiamaka Nnadozie

Young player of the year is Blessing Demehin, Ajakaye isn't even top 3.

Player of the year is between Oshoala/Kundananji/Kgatlana/Chawinga/Nnadozie
That's true. Ellis and Nnadozie sure

Looks like some Journos really have beef with Mikel from his playing days over refusal to grant interviews to Naija Journos.
