Title : Living in Perfect Peace!

John 14 vs 21 says "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

There is no perfect peace anywhere except in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the giver of perfect peace.

Jesus Christ is the only one that can give true peace. The peace of this world does not provide the divine peace that we need. It only leads to a troubled heart and fear because it is man's way of providing peace for themselves and not God's way of providing peace.

The presence of security personnel cannot provide you with enough security, although it is good to have them. The world does not only need the presence of human security. They also need the peace giver, whose name is Jesus Christ; His peace overcomes a troubled heart and fear of all kinds.

Ask Him to come into your life now if you don't have Him in your life yet so that you can have peace with God. When this peace is resident in your spirit, you will be at peace with yourself, and you will no longer be tormented by fear. Hallelujah!.

Today's prayer: Oh Lord, Let your come come into my heart, I invite your peace into my heart so that I can be safe and secured in you in the name of Jesus.

Do you want to be weary and faint?

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
The Prophet Isaiah noticed two different kinds of people in his walk with God: Those who depended on themselves and those who depended on God.
Those who depended on themselves wear out and faint along the way, but those who depend on God are given renewed strength. This renewed strength, makes them soar like eagles, they run and don't wear out, or get tired, and they walk and do not faint.
Dearly beloved, you must choose between relying on your own strength and waiting on God. Depend on His own word for everything, even though sometimes you may have to fast to empower your spirit to be more receptive to the leading of the Holy spirit. Make time to always fellowship with God so that you can be enabled to know and do what he requires from you each day.

Tell the Lord that from now on, you will no longer depend on your own strength, but on His strength, tell Him to give you the grace to always wait on Him for direction and instruction.

The power in the blood of Jesus.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

The blood of Jesus is so powerful, there are many benefits attached to the blood of Jesus.

1. The blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse us from all our sins, no matter how terrible and heavy our sins are, the blood of Jesus has the efficacy to wash us, cleanse us and make us to be as white as snow.
The blood of goat, ram and other animals cannot save us except the blood of Jesus.
The blood of Jesus can also bring healing to our sickness and illness, no matter the affliction we are suffering from, the blood of Jesus has the power to heal us.

If you have any sickness troubling you, just tell that sickness to receive the blood of Jesus and command it to leave in the name of Jesus.

Satan and his demons cannot withstand the blood of Jesus, because the blood of Jesus has already overcame them. Whenever you are attacked by powers of darkness or by its demons, just say like this, you devil and its agents troubling my life, I overcome you all by the blood of Jesus, they have no option than to surrender.

The blood of Jesus has the ability to save you from danger, whenever you encounter any danger, either from evil people or from any other source, shout the blood of Jesus, you will see how you will overcome the danger.

The blood of Jesus is so powerful, no other blood can save you except the blood of Jesus.

For you to apply this blood effectively, make sure that you are a child of God and there is no sin in you, you will see the blood of Jesus work in your life.

The power in the word of God.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The Bible is the written word of God, it is the whole mind of God.

A lot of us don't have interest in studying their bible. Some only touch their bible once it is time for church or fellowship. It ought not to be so.

God is telling us as He told Joshua that the book of the law which is the written word of God shall not depart out of our mouth, rather we should meditate on it day and night. Many people still read the word, but still they don't practice what they read, they only read the word for reading sake, it ought not to be so. For us to prosper in life, we must be filled with the word of God and we must practice what we read.


Anything the Bible says we should do, we will obey and do it, that thing he said we should not do, we should not do it at all.


Everything we need in this life can be found in God's word. Is it salvation, protection, preservation, Health, long life, prosperity, e.t.c any thing that you need, go to the Bible, look for the passage where God has promised us to grant us the particular need you are looking for, present it to God, ask him to fulfill it in your life, the Lord will hear you and do it.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.


Is the word of God dwelling on you richly, once the word of God dwells richly in you, you will find it difficult to sin against God.
Go down on your knees and ask God to show you mercy in any way you neglected to read and obey his word, tell Him that as from now, you will start reading and obeying his word so that all the promises attached to His word shall be yours.

Have you praised him today.

A lot of people feel that they don't need God in their lives or that God doesn't matter, as they wake up early in the morning, the next thing is for them to start preparing for their individual business.

They don't remember to spend time with God and thank Him for who He is.

The Psalms in the Bible is full of praise and adoration.

Psalms 150:1-6 Praise ye the LORD.

1. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

2. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

3. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

4. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

6. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Many other verses in the book of psalms talk about praise.

What are you to praise Him for, praise Him, For Praise Him for sending his Son Jesus Christ to die for the remission of sins, in order to deliver us from eternal doom in hell.

Praise him for waking you up to see another day which he has made.

Praise him by calling him His name and his attributes, who is God to you, call Him by that name and praise him.
Praise Him for his provision preservation and guidance upon you and your family.

Praise him for not allowing you and your family to be put to shame.

Praise Him for the sun that shines upon us and the rain that water our ground.

Thank him for the nature and all the things that He has created.

And there are many other things we need to praise him for which I didn't mention.

Before you go on to request from Him, praise Him for the one that he has done for you.

It is not only when you are praying that you praise Him, you can even praise him, by singing to him sweet songs while you are engaged in your daily activities.

If you have not been praising Him, you have to repent and cultivate the habit of praising Him, because if you praise him for what he has done for you, He will another one for you.

Sanctification

After our sins has been washed away by the blood of Jesus, we are now saved.

That is not all, after we have experienced salvation, we also need to experience sanctification.

I know that the messages I am writing here is no more preached by the church, thank God for bringing you this forum to hear and practice these messages that will lead you to heaven.

What is sanctification.

It is the second work of grace, whereby the adamic nature in our life is uprooted, it is where the root of sin is uprooted, so that we cannot longer serve sin.
It is the process whereby the sin that easily beset us is being taken out of our heart

Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
There are many other passages that deal on sanctification.

If you have repented from your sins and has been washed by the blood of Jesus, yet you gossip, backbite, slander


Envy your fellow man or women, slander, pride, Jealousy, exaggerate, evil thought, lust and many others, you need this sanctification experience, it is a real experience. When we are sanctified, all these sins I have listed above and other sins shall be given a death blow and will be taken out our lives. We need this experience, it is God's perfect will for us to be like him.

Ezekiel 36:26 says A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Sanctification makes us to be like God, perfect, sinless and holy.
Matthew 5:48 says Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
This is an express command from Jesus to us to be perfect even as our father which is in heaven is perfect.

When you live a life that is holy and pure from sin, Satan and his demons will be afraid of you, there is a power that comes from holy living.
Remember

Remember, without holiness, no eye shall see the Lord. Holiness is the heartbeat of God for us. Holiness is an express way to heaven, while hypocrisy is an express way to hell.

If you really need this experience, talk to the Lord, he can purify you and make you clean.
You can hardly hear these messages because, the pastors themselves are not living a holy life.

Go on your knees right now and talk to God, tell Him to uproot every adamic nature in your life, that sin that you always commit unconsciously, bring them to the Lord, in prayer tell him to sanctify you and purify you. Tell him to create in you a clean heart and to put his Spirit within you. Do not rest until you have this experience.

Choose whom you will serve.

It is either you are a sinner or a Christian, you cannot be both at the same time, and you cannot be on the fence and say that you are not a sinner or a Christian.

There is an age long battle going on between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness, if you are not for God, then you are automatically for Satan, there are no two ways about it. It is either you choose to serve God, or you are serving the devil.

If you are living a life of sin and hypocrisy, then you are not of God, and the consequences of your action is eternal doom in hell fire.
If you living a righteous and a holy life before God, then you will spend eternity with God in heaven, there are no two ways about it.

Remember, the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus.

Joshua 24:15 says And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Joshua made up His mind to serve the Lord with His family.
Will you make up your mind to serve the Lord.
