Guys often accuse women of talking in code, but the truth is that they are just as guilty of nuanced sayings as women are. Whether we like it or not, most people have moments where they may need a translator to understand communication with the opposite sex. It’s totally okay.
We all have these moments where we wish we understood what someone really means.


1. “I’m going through some issues right now...”
Any time that you hear this, you can expect it to be a cop-out for something. This is what guys say when they unghost, what they say when they don’t want to commit, and what they say when they’re trying to explain cheating. If you hear this, don’t believe it for a second. He’s just an ass.


2. “I don’t want a relationship right now.”
When a guy says this, it’s his way of letting you down gently or just straight up telling you that he’s only viewing you as a “quick lay” type. When he says this, he’s saying, “I don’t want a relationship with you.”


3. “I wasn’t serious about asking you out! You need to lose weight.”
Guys who say this are often wounded by rejection and want to take their anger out. A good translation of this would be, “I’m grossly insecure and womenfolk said no to me, and now I feel entitled to hurt you because I feel hurt. If I were to get into a relationship, I would probably be abusive no matter who I dated. You are totally right to reject me, and I should probably seek psychological help before I even consider getting a girlfriend.”


4. “I’m the man.”
When a guy has to say that he’s “the man,” he’s basically trying to boost up his self-esteem or status. This is especially true if he’s dealing with a woman who intimidates him in one way or another. At times, this may also be used as his explanation for terrible behavior but only if he hates women or has weird double standards.


5. “Friendzoned again!”
This is a line that’s said by guys who are just really unaware of how women think, and this may be a ploy to guilt you into a date. Don’t fall for it.


6. “We don’t have to have sex. Let’s just watch some Movies.” Yeah, no. Men who are saying this are hoping you’re going to still come over and that they’ll figure out a way to talk you into taking your clothes off. There’s a reason why “Movies and chill” became synonymous with f*cking.


7. “You’re going to make someone very happy someday.”
This is the male equivalent of a girl saying, “Let’s just be friends.” In fact, they may actually say that they’d rather be friends before they tell you this. Sadly, it’s probably the nicest rejection you could have from a guy.


8. “I’m really unhappily married.”
Though there are rare instances where this isn’t the case, men who regularly bring up how unhappy their marriages typically do so because they want a side piece. More often than not, they’re not unhappy with their wives nor are they even just “staying for the kids.” They just want to have cake and eat it, too. Don’t fall for the pity ploy.


9. “Not all men are the same. I don’t do that awful stuff.”
The big difference between guys and girls is that guys will take a girl’s complaints about bad dates and bad experiences as a personal affront to them. Meanwhile, girls understand there’s an implicit “not all people” label there. What a guy means when he says this is, “I feel villainized because I don’t understand that it’s not about men as a whole, and I don’t want to feel punished for some other guy’s wrongdoings.”

10. “I miss you.”
What this means all depends on where you are in your relationship with him. If you’re just starting to go out or are drill happily in love, it means that he legit just misses your company. If you broke up with him, it most likely means that he only misses the perks of what your relationship brought to him.

Many people if not everyone desires to know what the other person is thinking, some people can actually predict whats going through another person's mind if they are engaging in a conversation but not like knowing the exact words or things going through the person's mind.
So guys, would you give up your left "ball" in order to be able to know the exact thing on a person's mind, particularly your girlfriend?

Betrayal isn't a new thing and most people have had their fair share of it. People have learnt to forgive and let go while others forgive and completely erase such negative people around them. When betrayal is mentioned, people tend to see it as a "normal thing" especially between friends colleagues and associates. But what happens if its between family, siblings and relatives?
The world is changing and what was an abomination years back is accepted in the present. Mother sleeping with son-in-law, father sleeping with daughter-in-law and many more. The latest trend is sister loosing their partner to another sister. I use to know of a lady who betrayed her elder sister by having an affair with her husband for material gains. The evil continued for about a year until the elder sister found out and disown her. Her husband also denied her and at the end she lost everything and therefore went about asking people to beg her sister for forgiveness.

Godwin Ugar, an environmental scientist has warned that people should desist from eating goat meat roasted with tyres because the carcinogenic components it contains is capable of causing cancer.
Ugar who also doubles as the Programme Manager, Natural Resource Management and Policy, CUSO International gave the warning at the weekend in Calabar during a workshop for stakeholders on youth empowerment.
The Workshop with the theme: “The role of Local Governments in Mitigating Business Environmental Hazards in the Natural Resources Sectors of Cross River” was aimed at sensitizing entrepreneurs on best practises in their businesses especially as it concern environmental protection and sustainability.
He said that the aim of the workshop was to promote youth employment by increasing capacity of young people with a view to creating 2000 jobs by 2019 with emphasis on environmental sustainability.
“ We need to create jobs with our environment in mind, their ability to improvise and use alternative methods in disposal of dung, poultry waste is essential ,the ability to turn these hazards into wealth is very important “
“The more we eat those goats roasted with tyres, the more we are prone to cancer, there are alternative and healthy ways of De-skinning it. They can pump it and use razor blade to de- skin it rather than using tyres which not only contaminates the meat but degrades the environment and pollutes the atmosphere” he stated.
Speaking further he said that the trend was growing and a lot of people were still ignorant of the ugly development adding that Nigerian entrepreneurs must adopt modern technology as well as improvise to succeed.

Growing up, I got lots of advice from family, friends and even strangers but my the best that still sound clear in my mind and has never been forgotten is......

Tomorrow is International Women's day and publisher of Genevieve Magazine, Betty Irabor took to her Instagram to recount her experience with a vicious nurse who couldn't care after she lost her unborn baby and believes that women are sometimes deliberately unkind to one another . "Is this your first pregnancy?"The nurse in green uniform asked me as she looked at the screen of the scan machine.
"No, I smiled at her. I was ecstatic because I was going to be a mum a third time... Then the bombshell!!! "If this isn't your first pregnancy, then how come you didn't know there has been no heartbeat?"! "What was she saying?"
I sat up straight and stared at her. Shocked! I was still processing what I thought she meant when she hit me again with; "Get up and dress up, go back to your Gynaecologist for an evacuation before you get an infection". I began to cry, I was dazed, I was traumatized by the news and the viciousness of the nurse. I took one long hateful look at her and cried all the way home. Evacuation over, I decided I wasn't going to let this matter rest. I wasn't going to allow this nurse in a so called prestigious Lagos hospital unleash her bitterness, her bile and hate on any other woman. I was afterall a journalist, so I put pen to paper and told my story to Quality mag, Classic mag and other media where I was a guest columnist. My articles generated public outrage over the nurse's conduct and the hospital had no choice but to invite me for a meeting. I was asked to describe the nurse, I did. She was summoned and we came face to face once more. Surprisingly, she did not deny any of my accusations, she simply said she was sorry. Sorry?
The authorities apologized and promised to take appropriate disciplinary
measures against the nurse.....

Bishop David Oyedepo, the general overseer of Living Faith Church worldwide also known as Winners Chapel, wasn’t impressed with the swags of Nigeria music star, Dapo Oyebanji popularly known as D’banj when they came in contact.
D’banj was recently contacted to perform at a Youth Programme in Covenant University where the Bishop was also a special guest of honour.
When D’banj was introduced by the MC to mount the stage for his performance, D’banj appeared covered in his normal bling-bling mode of dressing and when he was introducing his song, the highly respected Bishop Oyedepo stopped him.
According to an eye witness account, the Bishop’s gesture took everyone by surprise when he ordered the ‘Fall in Love’ crooner to stop his performance.
It was learnt that the Bishop while trying to maintain the good standard of Christianity, told D’banj to remove the entire bling on his neck and to be cautious of what he’d say on stage.
Although Bishop Oyedepo uttered the warning to D’banj jokingly, many maintained that he meant every word he said concerning the music star.
