Could you remember those days when you were crazy about motivational quotes or motivational speakers?. Motivational Speaking is not a bad idea, but these things made it die.

(1) No Motivational Speaker By Example: most of the motivational speakers we knew those days were either broke, averagely rich or above average. They hardly portrayed what they say in terms of wealth, fame or greatness. They could not turn their own words to great wealth in crazy million dollars. We hardly saw billionaires like dangote as motivational speakers. We hardly saw great celebrities or oil and gas tycoons as motivational speakers. Show me great politicians that are motivational speakers. Though some are, they have results...

I agree. Just pointing out that the error in question does not mean that this message is false. I have a relative staying with me currently waiting for admission into UI. He's so disoriented with this waiting, not knowing when it's going to hold. I agree that the tension is very disturbing. Just have a little more patience. UI is one of the best ranked schools; nothing good comes easy; and best of luck.

It's just a typist error by the admission officers secretary. It wasn't typed by a prof.

Not only me, many people have been responding..what's the purpose of this thread when we have people out there trying to degrade the course and discourage aspiring students from applying to study Medicine? You can go into hibernation for all I care but people like us who hold our course in high regard will not fold our arms and watch the less informed give our potential colleagues reasons to regret their decisions. They can create topics and threads addressing the contempt against MBBS but not on this platform.

He only buttressed my initial point. People run after medicine, oblivious of other courses. They end up in those other courses after years of running after medicine. If they had known and explored other courses, those times would not have been wasted.

I did not run after medicine tho, I've always hated it cos everyone wanted to do it and it was boring and annoying that way plus I hate anything clinical. Laboratory and experiments is my thing. It's very stupid to think everyone wants medicine. Very shallow thought.
