When is the entry date on your Visa? just ensure your flight date does not precede your entry day otherwise you'll have issues at the airport.

It might be more prudent for one to go to school upon the other’s graduation. That way, the one who graduated can work full time to support the family while the other person goes to school.

Yes. Just ensure your wife has your TLS collection document and maybe a copy of your marriage certificate.

If you haven’t done your biometrics, I believe you can pay for assisted service on the day and ask them to help you upload it.

I recommend you do this. It’s an opportunity to explain possible Grey areas on your application. For example, in my case, our son had a corrective heart repair surgery in India 7 years ago. We knew the ECO would see the Indian visa and entry stamps on me, my son and hubby’s passports so we took the Liberty to explain in brief his reason for being there and also let them know he’s in perfect health condition now.

And secondly, my first UK visit visa application in 2012 was refused because I didn’t include a letter explaining my travel itinerary and cost breakdown for the trip. Needless to say, I’ve always attached a letter to all my subsequent visa applications ever since and I thank God none has been refused.

Above all, pray for for favor with the ECO reviewing your application.

My advise, do it the same day as your dependents, also ensure you inform the TLS officer handling your biometrics you are a family so they can link your applications together.

Me and my MA’s application was processed at UKVI 01 while our children’s application was processed at New Delhi.

We didn’t receive NSF because the linking was done correctly and we supported our application with prayers.

I didn't upload POF for dependents and forgot to download, fill, sign and upload the online consent letters. I was afraid when I read here that those two mistakes are enough grounds for refusal. I read this part 7 everyday from page 1. But we really prayed that we don't want any NSF.

Kindly advice me house on what to do. My biometrics was on July 8th for myself and 2 dependants. Paid call on Monday and decision has been made for all.
Collection mail dropped for 1 dependant but main applicant and the other dependant remain at DMC.
Tommorow makes it 3 weeks.

I and a friend had a similar experience. Don't worry, The mail should drop today, Friday or next week Monday at the latest! Keep the faith alive!

I just noticed I made a spelling error in my visa application form for my bank name. I spelt the G in GTB as Guarantee instead of Guaranty. I hope this is not an issue?

It's not enough reason to cancel your application especially if you have paid for IHS and Visa.

25th June - NSF requesting explanation for 7 years study gap and bank statements.

28th June - Reply to NSF of zero work experience but cover letter and a few attachments about these years as a housewife and a mum. Along with updated more recent bank statements.

1st July - Decision made.

3rd July - Pass-back mail from VAC, as I applied to keep my passport with me during application. I was to travel.

27th July - Flew back into the Country, returned my passport to VAC same day.

28th July - Collection mail, went to get it same day. Vignette sitting pretty.

I choose uk over Ireland not anymore will I go back Ireland cos they don't have family package like uk for master students

Am scared because issuing date on her passport is July 24th indicating her maiden name she don't have my surname, am scared thisb won't

As long as her maiden name is stated on your marriage certificate, then you are good.

You can get a sworn affidavit for peace of mind. I had my maiden name on my passport for years long after my wedding....it's not a big deal.

Did you deposit the lump sum on 30th June? If yes, start counting from first of July. Today makes it 28 days but just wait till tomorrow before filling the application so you can print your POF statement from 1st - 28th of July.

Has anyone been delayed in getting collection mail while their Dependant has received collection mail. If there is anyone who has been in this kind of situation before, how long does it take the Ma to get the collection mail and what is the process of getting it?

In our case, I and my MA received our collection mail the same day (On Friday), however, the mail for our children came on Monday the week after. When we read the UKVI decision letter that accompanied our passports, we realized that our children's visa was processed in New Delhi while ours was processed in UKVI 01. Also, the dates on the letters is different (13th July for Spouse and MA, 14th July for Children).

I'm sharing this because i suspect it may be one of the reasons for the delays.

Seriously, i gave up on anything visa or studying abroad..
It was my younger brother who begged me to pls try uk , i said i have family and cant be throwing money away like this ...
In 2022 i reluctantly tried that of Uk student visa and came back to this tried again..
This time , i was just reading as usual and expecting to have the same results...
Note i already have 17 years study after my BSC...
