Yeah, the guy is kinda getting boring. Although, I can't wait to hear the track with R. Kelly. |
I just hope the content is as good as the album cover. |
Get da heck away from the guy and get the guy off u - HE IS MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, I don't think you want to be the initiator of ADULTERY. |
toyinrayo:Ouch!!!! That should hurt. |
What da heck!!!! I could not stop laughing. It's unfortunate though! Na wa ooo!!! |
Yep! Llllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeee noooooiiiiiissssseeee! It's a powerful language though! |
I believe I dislike the Microsoft monopoly as much (or probably even more than you do), but how do you plan to achieve this goal of yours, anyway. I would say it's quite a lofty task and that is a massive understatement! |
@NubianQ Marriage and love is not all about FUN and compatibility. It's more complex than that (My opinion) |
Honestly, these are the kind of people parents should be scared of. |
Excuse me, Mallam Musa, what is your purpose on Nairaland? I'm just curious and I'm asking politely. |
@poster And how old is she? |

I believe code must be readable, writable and executable. Someone once described Perl as "Line noise". Such code as above should only be seen in contests (Perl Golfing, etc.) and never in the real world. |
The SQL statement is what was generated. Someone gave me an idea as to what might be wrong, I'll try that and keep the thread updated. Kanirip, thanks for checking it. |
I am working on a small project and I have run into an itchy problem with an SQL statement. The construction of the SQL statement is as below: Me.StudInsertCommand.CommandText = _ "INSERT INTO Students (FirstName, LastName, MidName, SessionAdmitted, Level, " & _ "MatricNumber, DeptID, ProgID, FacultyID) VALUES ('" & firstTxt.Text & "', " & _ "'" & lastTxt.Text & "', " & _ "'" & midTxt.Text & "', " & _ "'" & sessAdTxt.Text & "', " & _ levelBox.Text & ", " & _ "'" & matricTxt.Text & "', " & _ deptBox.SelectedValue & ", " & _ progBox.SelectedValue & ", " & _ facultyBox.SelectedValue & " "Me.StudInsertCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() Now the above statement is in the Click event of a button. After all the necessary information has been entered and the add button is clicked, the VB.NET compiler/IDE indicates that there is an SQL syntax error. My database is implemented in MS Access and I am using an OleDbConnection and MS Jet. The resultant SQL statement from the above concatenation is below: "INSERT INTO Students (FirstName, LastName, MidName, SessionAdmitted, Level, MatricNumber, DeptID, ProgID, FacultyID) VALUES ('Gill', 'Bates', 'Michael', '2006/2007', 300, '06BC0987', 19, 27, 5)" As stated earlier, all this results in an SQL syntax error. Below is the StackTrace. Database programming really annoys me. Please help! I have been staring at this thing since last week and annoyingly, it may be a simple problem. Unhandled Exception: System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement. at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteCommandTextErrorHandling(Int32 hr) at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteCommandTextForSingleResult(tagDBPARAMS dbParams, Object& executeResult) at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteCommandText(Object& executeResult) at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteCommand(CommandBehavior behavior, Object& executeResult) at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteReaderInternal(CommandBehavior behavior, String method) at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() Can anyone please help me take a look, because my eye cannot see anything. I am quite sure of the data types. Thanks a lot guys! |
Does he look 50? He does not look like anything. |
I think programmers should not limit themselves to any particular scope. One has to be knowledgeable in every applicable sphere (whether open source or .NET). You know, that may mean knowing at least a language in each sphere. This would enable a programmer to be versatile and be able to work in different environments. So I think programmers should try to maintain a solid knowledge base in both open source and .NET because at different times, different skills would be required of you and a programmer is likely to work in different environments at different points in his career. It ain't easy, but I think these are things programmers (and aspiring ones) have to face in their careers. |
There is this notion that paying too much attention to a girl and always letting her know you are thinking about her kinda makes her take you for granted. As for the poster, I guess the girl requested that he should send her messages every day. That is his own case. I just have a question. If you keep on sending messages to your girlfriend every day, or thrice a day, does it not make you come across as a bug-a-boo in the long run. I think girls need space. This is just my opinion. I need to give my girl time to miss me. What do you guys think? |
Love is very complex Why does love hurt? Well, with love comes many auxiliary feelings including jealousy and I think jealousy hurts when you are feel it (at least it hurts me). Many actions arise as a result of one's love for another person and many of these actions can actually translate into hurt in the long run. This can be seen in taking risks and sacrificing things dear to you for someone you love. If you are in love, must it hurt? I don't know what to say, but I don't think so. |
I love the song. It sounds really nice and is a very good attempt. I think it was created by a group that call themselves Niyo. I find the lyrics quite funny and unfortunately very true. Nice attempt. |
Basically, I think it's all about the money. I also believe she just needs someone to take care of the baby she has for this guy and she is definitely not going to be going out with him exclusively. She is gonna have her own guy (a young guy), it's just the money. |
tkb417:I kinda agree with you. I've always wondered why people spend so much money and make such a big deal out of a wedding ceremony. Anyway, I believe the ladies want it that way because it is one of the happiest days of their lives. It is typically better to get married at home where you belong. |
Achieve even 30 of those 44 things and you would be nominated for a WUSSY grammy. |
Nice one! |
Interesting, |
I just pity John Terry for missing the penalty kick that should have given Chelsea the victory. It was cruel considering how he must have felt. |
July 18th, same with Nelson Mandela |
