Hey guys,

So, not everyone can easily afford a laptop BUT that shouldn't stop you from doing something cool... Like becoming an android developer, building apps for fun and even earning extra cash while doing it.

I'm thinking of teaching guys (and ladies of course) who want to learn android development how to build apps using their android phone.

What do you guys think about this idea?
Indicate if you're interested and also follow this thread, we'll use it for planning.

In a crowded blogosphere and a busy world, there's only one sure way to get traffic.

Whether your blog is new or old, as long as you want traffic (as long as you want people to visit and keep visiting your blog) - you need to have an android app for your blog.

There are lots of blogs out there... People (readers) are busy... They forget your blog link cuz there are too many blogs, they forget to visit your blog cuz they are busy with their life.

Think about it.

You need to have an android app for your blog if you are really serious about getting traffic. That's the easiest way to ensure that people who visit your blog keep on visiting.

Bloggers who have app, do this...

Some bloggers have an Android app for their blog but they have failed to publicize it properly. Hence no downloads - no traffic. Here are some suggestion to get more downloads:

1. Use attractive clickable "Download App on Android" image. (Don't just add a download link, add an image)

2. Add a link - "Download BlogName on Android" - at the end of your posts. (Mostly posts that are getting many views)

3. If your blog is on Blogger, add download link to mobile view.

4. Add the link to where it can be easily seen. Also apply an attention grabbing colour to the download link.

Bloggers who do not have an android app... How to get one

Wow.. I'm not ready to share my story online yet but it's possible. I've done it b4. I blogged with a phone when i was still a blogger (and yes, the blog was "big"... alexa rank rose to 1.2million). Lemme shock you, i used a phone that's not even a smart phone.

It's very easy if you're using an android phone... download good browser apps. If you're using Blogger platform, you can download Blogger app.

Did i mention i also designed the blog with phone? I just did!

U.I is currently on strike right? Were students who live on campus sent home? Please i need an answer. A friend of mine stays on campus and since April 17 her number has been switched off. At first i thought her phone must have been stolen or something but since the strike i expected she'll come home but she has not. huh

Are campus students still in school? I'm super worried.

Not advisable if you intend to make money off it. Not all blog niche are profitable and not all blog niche would get people's attention. You'd be suprised that 1month after launching you'd have about 100 views (97 views from you and 3 from your bestfriend). Not trying to discourage you. Only venture into this if you are not concerned about people reading your posts. (you want a personal "online diary".) else you'll be frustrated.

HARDDON nice job bro. Currently reading from beginning... really gaining. I got a question tho.

There's this girl, she's (kinda) into me but here's the problem, she doesn't allow me to rest! Always messaging me on Whatsapp morning, afternoon, evening everyday! We met about 2 -3 month ago. The issue is there's nothing to talk about cuz she doesn't give "us" space. Basically our conversation is mostly boring but still she keeps messaging. I feel one day she would just lose interest. What do you suggest i do?
