ALERT! We need to know if this man was one of the people quarantined by Lagos State Government. If he was not part of them, that means we are all sitting on a keg of gun powder as far as ebola is concerned in Nigeria. Someone please confirm. ![]() |
Barely seven days after Mr. Patrick Sawyer, a US citizen of Liberian descent, died in a private hospital in Lagos, one of the personnel, who helped him out of the aircraft on his arrival in Lagos, has shown signs of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). The latest victim, who was said to have helped the late Sawyer, but has not yet been named, was among the 59 persons the Federal Government and the Lagos State Government registered to have had contact with the late Sawyer immediately on his arrival in Nigeria on Sunday, July 20. As from September 2014, any school that fails to be safety certified in Lagos State might not be allowed to carry out its business or even get sanctioned for non-compliance. This was revealed at the last Lagos State Safety Commission (LSC) schools conference held on July 7, 2014. The conference, which was organised by LSC in conjunction with SchoolRun and Lagos State Ministry of Education, had in attendance representatives of virtually all the private schools in Lagos State such as teachers, school owners and stake holders. Emphasis was laid on the fact that organizations and accredited safety agents must be registered by the Lagos State Safety Commission. Also, private schools in Lagos State will now be ranked according to their rate of compliance to the standard set by the Lagos State Safety Commission. The opening presentation was given by the Deputy Director of LSC, Mrs. Ronke Odeneye, who re-emphasized the LSC’s commitment to ensuring a safe environment in schools. Mrs. Bc. Akin-Alabi, the Principal Consultant of SchoolRun – the State School Safety Administrator – gave an overview of how the school safety programme will be implemented in the State. In her brief presentation, InSiGHt Health’s Principal Consultant, Dr Nnenna Mba-Oduwusi, shared some of InSiGHt’s experiences and safety-related findings from the several school safety audits conducted in the State this year. Other speakers also talked about various issues bordering on the need for safety compliance in schools. Mrs. Bc Akin-Alabi announced that SchoolRun would be collaborating closely with InSiGHt Health Consulting to ensure the implementation of credible, comprehensive school audits in Lagos State commencing in September, 2014. To encourage the participating schools, InSiGHt Health offered a free assessment to a lucky school. This was done through a raffle – the second of its kind this year. The school randomly picked is Docemo Nursery and Primary school, Yaba, Lagos. Lagos State Safety Commission was set up by the law passed by the 6th House of Assembly of Lagos State Government, to set safety standards for all sectors involved in socio-economic activities in the State. SchoolRun is the State Consultant and Administrator of the State School Safety Project on behalf of Lagos State Safety Commission. SkgeeBoss, you need to explain to us all here if you truly installed Xposed framework on your R7 as you claim. I followed your claim and nearly destroyed my phone yesterday. After installing and rebooting my R7, it got stucked at the Tecno image. And that s all. Bootlooping. I had to factory reset via recovery to have my phone back. But I lost all my data sha. So painful. I can say it unequivocally that R7 uses Aliyun OS and as such does not work with Xposed Installer modules! Prove me wrong with the evidence of how you installed it on your own. Drop it here and not on any BBM! |
I just got my own R7. But to put the record straight once and for all, this phone DOES NOT SUPPORT OTA. You can only update the system but not UPGRADE. You cant, for instance, upgrade to version 4.3 or any OS above its 4.2. Love the phone all the same. |
My Queen too is down since yesterday morning. Gurus in the house is this a general problem? I still have both airtime and MB on my SIM. |

Lord_Reed: With the 12 month Internet bundle? I don't think so.You are right. I already got one. When I applied for the bundle, etisalat sent a message that my phone (TECNO F7)is not eligible for the offer. These people are just deceiving us. No free internet. Just buy yours and subscribe for any plan on your network provider's BB plan. |
sadeyjc: Please please can somebody give me the link where i can downloadSorry bro. There is no custom ROM for this phone. I guess it is because it is a Chinese phone as there are custom ROMs for other phones that are not China made. If you are interested, my TECNO D5, fully ROOTED with cool apps, is up for sale. |
Babanhajiya: Is there any method of rooting this phone without a PC?No way for now. You have to be connected to a PC to have the rooting properly done. Though there are other apps that work with some other android phones. Cheers! |
W3xy1: after i run the runme.bat file, it ask me to make a choice and i press 1 on my laptop, nothing happen faForget about that method. Take your phone to a cybercafe with your USB cable. Connect your phone to the system. Download srsroot from their site. install it and press root on the interface. make sure your phone is connected to the system and debugging is checked on the phone. Wait for the software to finish the rooting. Follow every step to details. You can also do this at home if you have access to the Internet. |
Here is the solution i found at last. It surely works for all types of phone. But you must be connected online before it works: DISCLAIMER: Rooting your device will void its warranty. Furthermore, performing the rooting procedure incorrectly may brick or damage your phone. Please, use this guide at your own risk. 1. First back up your phone. 2. Download SRSRoot from this website to your computer.[ SRSRoot Download www.srsroot.com/ ] 3. After downloading SRSRoot, install the application on your computer. 4. On your Android phone go to Settings -> Developer Options -> Tick USB Debugging. 5. Then, connect your Tecno D5, N7 (ANY TECNO OR ANDROID PHONE) to your computer using your USB cable. 6. Run the SRSRoot software on your computer. 7. Then click on “Root Device [All Method]” and the rooting process starts. 8. Be careful to follow all the on-screen instructions including “Restoration”. That’s all. Your Android phone is now rooted. NOTE: SRSRoot is totally reversible by just clicking the “Unroot Device” button. |
I have been able to connect my phone and the rooting script. But the problem now is that my phone is not rooted as the script claimed. Instead, it swallowed my phone internal memory. I have tried rooting it several times, but only restarted my phone without really rooting. I even tested it with Root validator. Any idea as to what could be wrong? Thanks |
@ EMMA, I so much appreciate ur concern. I have terminated all the debugging apps installed, still not able to specify path is the error i get. I have never given up in my search anyway. hope there is something i need to get right somewhere. |
