Treasury Bill rate has gone south. We all knew the rate is not sustainable on the long run. The talk of the town now is Diamond investment note (DIN) issued by diamond bank. You can get rates as high 17% depending on the amount. It works exactly like treasury Bill but more flexible. DIN is minimum of 5 million naira. And the rate is not up to 17% as you indicated. On 5 million you get 50k per annum as interest at 10% indicaed on their website. 180 days is 25k. That's too low.

Has anyone noticed that with the ongoing jumia black Friday, if you happen to use a voucher your order will not go through and the voucher will remain invalid after failed payment? I wonder which kind scam be that! They won't allow pay on delivery once voucher is used and the jumiapay activated. Instead, the it will ask you to update your profile with a new password. No matter what you input it will keep showing error. Cancel the order and try using the voucher again, it becomes invalid. Jumia wayo!

The Nigerian government has respond to the maltreatment of there citizen in Libya. The late hours of Tuesday 29th November, it was reported that 242 Nigerians has successfully landed to Nigeria airport from Libya.

242 Nigerians returned from Libya this evening. The aircraft touched down at around 9.10 pm. Registration & profiling is ongoing by relevant agencies.

No work done. It was working perfectly before I removed the battery.

Hello everyone. I happened to disconnect the battery of my Lexus RX 330 more than a week to start another vehicle. One thing I discovered after reconnecting my battery is that all the buttons at the steering control like volume up.down and MODE not responding again. They show light but not controlling my radio anymore. About a week has gone by now, and no change.

Has anyone had this issue before? Any one with a solution?

The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on Thursday
visited the Lagos State House of Assembly to watch the
plenary sitting of the House conducted in Yoruba
language.


Speaker of the Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, restated
the commitment of the Assembly to the promotion of
Yoruba language and the culture of the Yoruba people.
Obasa assured the Yoruba monarch that he and his
colleagues in the Assembly will continue to work to
promote the Yoruba language and culture.


“We’ve started conducting our Thursday plenary
sessions in Yoruba. We’ve gone ahead to organise the
Yoruba Stakeholders’ Summit and we will ensure that
the teaching of Yoruba language becomes compulsory
in Lagos State. We will not relent and we will continue
to do more so that our dear language will not go into
extinction,” he said.


The Lagos Assembly Speaker urged Yoruba wherever
they are to make the language the tool of
communication with their children at home. “The era of
using other people’s language as tool of communication
for our children should be rejected and should be done
away with,” he said.


Ooni Ogunwusi commended the Lagos lawmakers for
being in the forefront of the struggle to promote the
Yoruba language and culture. “I’m very happy to be
here and I want to commend the members of the Lagos
State House of Assembly for being in the forefront of
the struggle for the promotion of Yoruba language and
culture,” Oba Ogunwusi said.


The monarch stated further that he was particularly
pleased with the plenary sitting of the House conducted
in Yoruba, saying that he had to push forward his visit
to the House by 24 hours because he wanted to witness
the Yoruba plenary session of the lawmakers.


“I’m highly impressed and indeed with what you have
done, the Lagos State House of Assembly has become
role model for others in the country in the area of
culture promotion,” Ooni Ogunwusi said.
The programme was concluded with exchange of gifts
between the Speaker and his visitor.
