HokageTravels:You probably missed a vital part that I said it's clearly written on the side of the metro, 'Give Priority to women and Children' most of the guys including myself were standing cos the train was filled and we join at Sharaf DG station, as the train was coming from Dubai Marina. This guy was directly facing us in that row two on a seat. An African woman and this Kenyan guy. The guy ignored, while the woman stood and told my wife to sit on her seat beside the Kenyan. Hence the reason I picked on him for his unreasonableness. I said a woman stood up beside you, while you a man ignored a woman, it shows the kind of a father he is Hope you get it now |
glowingflame7:During my last visit with my wife pregnant then in 2017, a stupid Kenyan refused to stand up for her in the metro, while it was clearly written that priority should be given to women and kids. I ended up insulting the idiot and another woman (non Nigerian) had to leave her seat for my wife. I was damn upset with the guy's insensitivity |
Joromi12:Yes but he would become invincible |
uchman:Try sending an email to some auto parts dealers telling them you intend to deal with them, by coming over. You can visit for business, just as I did |
Atiku79:Keep deceiving yourself |
When you don't speak the truth, you make your case worse for people to assist |
uchman:So you've still not visited Japan yet? |
Terrible father. Fake ass flashing money like that fake blogger |
michelleann32:In terms of infrastructures, not even Tinubu comes to Ambode. Jakande beats all of them to Low cost housing schemes |
ovieigho:Leave that kid |
Amuocha:Senseless. Kid grow up or go back to your state. In terms of housing schemes, no Governor has beaten Alhaji Lateef Jakande. Jakande was the governor between 1979 to 1983 Tinubu was the Governor between 1999 to 2007. So which should come first? I know you're not born when Jakande was the governor but rely on stories you're told. Too many kids on Nairaland |
playcharles:Lol. Na 100 years ![]() It's same 5 years old passport. Mind you, it's renewal, not even fresh application |
Finally got my passport today in Abeokuta. Just got back home now. The journey Went to Abeokuta on 10th May, 2019 for something else. Whilst discussing at the Governor's office, saw the Immigration Office. I asked the officer if I can do my passport in Ogun instead of Lagos that I was told to bring ₦60,000. He said yes and we started. Paid ₦35,000 on Friday 10th May. Went for Capturing on Tuesday 14th May, 2019 Went to ABK yesterday 27th May, 2019 to further induce and paid extra ₦5000. Passport was printed yesterday 27th May, 2019 around 21:00 but I couldn't stay back. Went to ABK today 28th May, 2019. Got there around 13:00pm. I just worked in, and collected it by 13:30 I was done. I bypassed some people who have been on the queue since 5:00am Those that took me in and some officers that asked for owó Coke, I gave all of them ₦4,000. Here's the total cost ₦40,000 ₦15,000 fueling for the 3 times I went from Lagos ₦4,000 to appreciate people ₦59,000 I'm sharing this not to show off, but to weep for my country. As Christ said, it is finished. Our leaders have failed us and there's no hope for common man anymore |
witgig:Great contribution. Would send this to our group. I'm sending my application on Monday 3rd June, straight away. I'm ready now. The attachments are too detailed. From marriage certificate to my academic and professional qualifications. Also attached my landed properties, car documents, stock and shares with Treasury bill etc just to prove I have no intention of staying one day beyond 14th September to come back to my office |
witgig:Yes, Just returned from Abeokuta about 5mins ago. I've collected it after all the wàhálà. Today's my son's birthday, so I'm back home to celebrate with him |
Beast of a husband. As a married man, I know women can be very annoying and can act silly (same for men) but you should have spared her for the sake of the unborn child and the risk involved. His stupid action can lead to the death of two living souls. My wife got me upset while she was pregnant even when in Labour, she insulted me alot, but i couldn't do anything |
aspirebig:He doesn't need a private jet for any miracle to happen or preach the gospel Is this what these people need now? Are pastors now competing amongst themselves about how wealthy they are? Shouldn't they compete about revivals and soul winning? |
hollah123:It's competition, nothing more |
Hunter2009:How much have you benefited from him? Don't you also need money or you're made already? All we hear is they gave this, they gave that, where are the beneficiaries after the open announcement before TV camera? |
As I said on Facebook Is this what these people need now? Are pastors now competing amongst themselves about how wealthy they are? Shouldn't they compete about revivals and soul winning? Pastor Oladiyun of CLAM said today that he doesn't need private jet, cars, shoes or any gift. Just give him that money for crusade, let him rent a big Field and start a revival that would liberate souls and minister to the poor. That's a real man of God. Don't give me any car, use that money to pay for crusade and he would be happy. No man of God need any jet before Miracles can happen. There are churches in almost every streets in Nigeria, that gospel is being preached. Hence, no pastor should say he needs a jet to go to villages to preach. In fact some states do not have airports. So get to work pastor, take a ride on a motorcycle to that village to preach, you don't need a jet to preach. It's just competition about how many cars I have and not how many souls I've won for Christ |
femijck:As usual, no booklet. I left Lagos, went to Abeokuta, paid ₦35,000 instead of ₦17,000 official money, yet still story. I'm just tired of everything. I believe so much in Nigeria, but with the way are going now, I just might give up. On Monday, I have to visit Abeokuta again to go beg the director and possibly bribe him so my passport can be printed. Nigeria is almost finished |
iammo:They see future things |

Ishilove:No, they would not We have too many kids on Nairaland now compared to before. Recall what Nairaland was back then? I'm talking about 2007 to 2013. You remember before you became a mod that we always had this debate with the atheists at the Religion Section. You had a crush on Jayriginal Then we had fun and did contacted each other outside Nairaland. Things have really changed. We now have kids who are freshers or Jambites and know absolutely nothing. Hence, it is very easy for one idiot to mislead them into hating another tribe. An idiot who had the opportunity for revolution, but ran away and started brainwashing people to hate their country. I can't understand what's happening. I am a christian, no one can convince me to hate Christianity except if I'm personally convinced myself. I'm a Nigerian, no one can tell me to hate my country, except I choose to. I am a human being, no one can tell me to hate on another who did no wrong to me, call them animals or incite a people against another people |
femijck:My passport is still not ready yet |
Dshocker:Yes, quality acting, but poor visuals, as there was no MPEG 4 or HD back then. We were restricted to SD |
In the early or mid 90s |
dapadawee:So as not to allow the guilty go unpunished or punish innocent erroneously |
A proper investigation should be conducted |
Do you know that No Local Goverment official has the right to arrest any traffic offender in Lagos State? If you don't please read this thread. Some time in 2013, I was on an assignment with a colleague around Herbert Macaulay Way in Yaba and my driver needed to turn to the other half of the road. We approached Sabo enroute from Adekunle and made the U turn in front Union Bank to the other side. Suddenly this guy appeared and entered the car, then led us to Mainland LGA HQ around that Panti area. We paid ₦13,000 Cash to release the Vehicle. Since then, I'm sure many people would have fallen victim to these unscrupulous criminals. When Ambode became governor, being a Local Government 'person' himself made the pronouncement that only LASTMA, VIO, Police and FRSC officials can make arrest for any road traffic offense, not Local government officials. From then till date, I'm sure these illegal actions still persists. Earlier today on my way from work, I listened to 'eye witness' report radio show on 99.3fm Nigeria info. Two callers narrated their separate ordeals. The first caller said he parted with ₦30,000 to same Mainland LGA officials in 2019. The second caller said he lost ₦25,000 to Coker Aguda LCDA officials, just two weeks ago. Infact, he said he was told to make bank transfer by the local government officials to a certain companies account and not to the account of the LCDA. Before he did that, the 4 tyres were deflated and he paid ₦1000 per tyre to have them inflated. Here's the thing. Isn't this the same LCDA/LGA that are clamouring for autonomy? If given is this what they would be doing to Lagosians? Please share your experience(s) with any of the 37LCDAs and 20 LGA officials that outsmarted you in the past. I hope Mynd44, Lalasticlala and Mukina2 can put this on the homepage until it gets to the attention of Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transportation, GM LASTMA and the incoming Governor Sanwo Olu |
I will slap you is an attempted battery/assualt |
