I learned a thing or two from you regarding supplying information that may or may not be required. I feel bad for the denial of your colleagues but they can still re apply. Did they do a good cover letter to go with the application? They didn't even do any cover letter, save letter of introduction by employer, they also didn't attach photographs etc. But they're reapplying next week. Out of 6 of us that applied, 4 refusal, 2 contacted for additional information |

Career › Re: How Can One Force His Ex Employer To Pay Pension Contributions In Redundancy? by davodyguy: 4:22pm On Jun 18, 2019 |
Samakus: Good day guys.
Please i need advise from pension experts. I was working with a private contract-based firm until March 2019 when the company became redundant (the company went out of business as it's sole contract with a client firm was terminated). Now the issue is that my former company deducted about 10 months pension contributions from our salaries but failed to remit it to our PFAs. Before the redundancy, we asked severally about the deductions and they promised to pay. Out of fear of job loss, i and my colleagues didn't write pencom.
Now, the company is out of business, and our pension deductions were not paid as they promised. I s there something that Pencom can still do to make them pay? Or should we forget the money? It's painful how employers are exploiting employees at any given chance because there are little jobs out there.
Funny enough, the owners of the company secured another contract with another client firm in a different region of the country and registered a new company to undertake the operations of the new contract. Isn't that corporate yahoo yahoo?
Can something still be done to get our money?
Can you guys help? Write to Pencom. I'm sure you would get it back I was in paid employment for 10 years before resigning and starting my own Organization. I was owed pension for about 10 years as well, but I wrote to the organization and quoted sanctions applicable under the Pencom reform act 2004/2014, they immediately paid to avoid escalation in April, 2019 |

femijck: No it’s never deliberate to deny anyone a visa. This is how it works ....Each immigration officer is trained to use their discretion to judge each application. However there’s a list of eligibility criteria that needs to be ticked on paper by the case officer before any visa is granted. This eligibility criteria is further checked by a supervisor or senior staff to make sure every case officer do not miss any information and have made the right decision on each application.
The burden of proof is on the applicant to make sure the case officer is provided with every necessary document and information. The list of this eligibility criteria is not confidential. You can easily find them on the immigration site if u search enough. It’s a very open process.
If you’re applying for a temporary entry visa ( visitor, tourist, work etc), the immigration officer is “ not obligated” to ask u for any missing piece or pieces in ur application. They have every right to deny it first time. And u cannot appeal or demand any further explanation.
However if it’s a permanent visa category like a resident visa application, the immigration officer is “obligated” to inform the applicant through a letter called “Potentially prejudicial information” PPI Letter, before making the final decision on the application. This letter allows u to clarify whatever doubt they have or provide any missing piece. Even if this category of visa is denied and u think it has been done in error or unjustly, u can appeal the results or even petition the immigration minister.
If a case officer have concerns but you’ve provided enough documents for him to tick all the boxes on their paper and make s/he job easy, you will still probably get the visa in most cases. If your motive and intentions are genuine and crystal clear to the case officer but unfortunately s/he can’t tick all the eligibility criteria boxes on the paper, the visa will be declined. Except the case officer is in a very good mood or maybe just a very nice and patient person and s/he is willing to help then they can communicate the missing piece/s.
I hope u understand better That is exactly what the officer said. I mean the highlighted part |

nkemzzy: nawa oh, not good at all... this is not in there nature to turn down application without asking for what is not included in the application. unless they have changed. 2015 when i visited Auckland, the person handling my visa application called me when ever she needs clarifications, she also send mail afterwords. Just re-apply my brother. I think it may be deliberate. See reasons below. They said they reserve the right to ask for more information, but chose not to We have considered all the evidence provided and the circumstances of your case and have identified the following concerns which mean we are not satisfied that you are a bona fide applicant: You have not provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate strong employment or financial commitments in your home countryYou have not provided sufficient evidence of international travel to demonstrate a history of compliance with immigration requirementsYou have not provided adequate evidence to support your purpose of travel to New Zealand
Because of these concerns, your application for a visitor visa has been declined. We have considered if requiring a bond or granting a limited visa would lessen our concerns or if there are any special circumstances to justify an exception to immigration instructions, but can find no reason for any of these. Requesting a ReconsiderationThere is no right of appeal or reconsideration against a decision on a temporary entry class visa application made outside of New Zealand. If you have new information that has not been considered by INZ, you can submit a further application. This would be considered on its merits and would need to show that you meet all relevant New Zealand government immigration instructions. |

They will never listen. For those of you shouting server this, server that. Ask yourself
1. Why did 37 professors that served as returning officers travelled to Abuja to read out results of all political parties as long as the list was?
2. We're the results read on national TV signed by all party agents at ward levels and polling centres where elections were held?
3. Did people vote manually using their fingers on a paper and the papers were manually dropped in a ballot box?
4. Apart from using the machine for accreditation, did any Nigerian vote using machine or they used a hard copy paper?
5. Let's assume there's a server that records the accreditation and PVC that were used before voting, did any of the PVC show the political parties that the holder of the PVC voted for?
6. There was a server and the server showed number of PVC that were screened. Did the server also show who was voted for by the owner of the PVC?
I think people should learn how to reason with common sense.

Hello guys.
Today not really good
One of my colleagues has just been denied visa.
She sent application last week Monday and today Tuesday (about 7 days after) they refused her.
They said 3 things
1. She didn't provide evidence of previous travel(which she did provide) 2. That she didn't provide what she's going to do in NZ(which she sent them conference registration) 3. That she didn't convince them that she would return.
They now said this decision can not be overturned, and she should not ask them any question in that regard.
I've told her to reapply, cos we've been attending same conference since 2013.
Guys what do you think?
She's yet to send passport to SA.
I'm also yet to send mine and she opined that I should wait |

The Nigerian Press Organisation comprising the Nigeria Union of Journalists, the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria, Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria and the Nigerian Guild of Editors, has settled the rift between the National Broadcasting Commission and Daar Communications Plc, the parent company of the Africa Independent Television and Raypower.
The NPO said in a statement by its President, Nduka Obaigbena, that both parties had agreed to sheathe their swords.

It matters a lot, cos not many of them can maintain cars like a guy would do. Woman love makeup. They do in the morning when leaving home for work and do likewise when leaving work for home.
That's exactly how guys would take care of cars.
Check the people that come to the Car Talk threads to complain about one issue or the other. 90% are guys who are looking for fixes to save cost and extend the useful life of their cars.
Woman would just drop the car for Shakirudeen, or Kazeem or Mukaila or Chigozie or Nasir to fix, but guys would go extra length.
Reasons are that the guy hustled to buy the car and would want the car on good condition to boost his ego and carry babes to club |
