femijck: Nah everything is under control... this is the first of its kind and I’m telling u NZ will get to the root quickly. The suspect 28 yrs old Aussie man will appear in court tomorrow morning. I really feel for the country that embraces diversity and where racism is next to zero. Most of the victims are definitely refugees from Islamic country. The response is been extremely great.... NZ is the best country in the world. But what was his motive to plant a bomb or IED in a train station? If he intends to attack Muslims alone as a racist, is the train station only for Muslims? Something not right |

AutoReportNG2: The annoying thing is that those LASBA see those building in Lagos Island but they turn blind eyes cos of the bribes they receive. Houses in Lagos Island especially at Ita Faaji, Agarawu, Idumota, are time bomb... The Lagos State Govt knew but they won't act.
So so sad Yes they collect bribes, but LASBCA is under staffed and we are too sentimental in Nigeria. I am close to the LASBCA GM. A very upright man, but problems are from the field officers who collect bribes from building owners and tell them to continue contruction without approvals. I can tell you for free. Close to 85% of all buildings in Lagos State do not have approvals, and registered title |

Camberlo: If Adamawa and other states gubernatorial election are declared inconclusive because the cancelled votes is more than the difference between the winner and the first runner up. Then Presidential elections too should be declared inconclusive as the difference between Buhari and Atiku is 3.8 million votes while the cancelled votes is 5.8million.. IS THERE ANYONE WHO OBSERVED THIS ? No one did, except you. Cancelled votes announced in all 36 states and FCT were 1.2million. Lagos less than 50k, Kano, less than 30k, add all together, not up to 1.3million across board |

HgsMediaPlus: It was a black Monday for students in the Department of Computer Science, Federal Polytechnic Auchi, Edo State, after a final year student (HND 2) was crushed to death in a ghastly motor accident.
According to an eyewitness, the 26-year-old victim identified as Stanley Okoro, was trying to conclude his seminar work which he was supposed to have defended on Thursday this week before the accident happened.
He was said to have been on a motorcycle with his course mate when they had a collision with another bike which resulted to the duo falling to the ground. Then one of the official cars assigned to a Student Union Government (SUG), ran into Stanley and crushed his head to pieces.
Stanley, until his death, hailed from Ika North Local Government Area (Agbor) of Delta state.
May his soul rest in peace.

I'm weeping as I type this, but truth be told. 1. Ideally we shouldn't have a society that Motorbike should be a means of transportation 2. If it is a means, why was there no helmet used to avoid head crushing? 3. The two bikes that coliided must have been speeding to have had a crash 4. Sug bus driver is not professional and was definitely on high speed within the school premises that speed limit ought to be 40KMPH was it avoidable? yes it was |

AlexReports: The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has collapsed, reports in Kano say.
Ganduje, who is a Governor under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and is seeking re-election collapsed in Nasarawa part of Kano shortly after 1am Monday morning after final figures of the State Governorship election was received in his office.
Although only 33 out of 44 local governments had been officially released by the State’s Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the calculation in the Governor’s office showed he had lost the election and frantic efforts were being made to turn the loss.
The development a source said led to the Governor collapsing in his bid to stand up when one of his aides told him of the development.
The governor was rushed to an unknown hospital.
This was shortly before his Deputy Governor, Nasir Yusuf Gawuna was arrested alongside the Commissioner for Local Government, Murtala Sule Garo while allegedly trying to disrupt collation of election results.
INEC had declared the results of 43 local governments out of the 44 in the state while awaiting the submission of the Nasarawa local government result with news that the result was being tampered with.
The deputy governor, the commissioner and chairman of Nasarawa local government Lamin Sani were said to have allegedly attacked the collation centre at about 1.30am on Monday morning with political thugs that unleashed terror on the people before the security agents over powered them and took them to Bompai Police headquarters.
Ganduje who was nicknamed gandollar for obtaining bribes and stuffing them into his traditional attire fell out with his political godfather, former governor of the State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The bribe videos went viral as it happened few occasions with citizens in the state vowing to vote him out.
Ganduje eventually sacked the contractors whom he alleged necessitated the videos to embarrass him.
A non-bewildered President Muhammadu Buhari said he didn’t “know the technology that was used to video him,” and described Ganduje as a personal friend.
Should the APC lose Kano it will be a huge blow to one of the states that contribute huge financial resources to the Federal government and fund the ruling party’s activities. Please stick with your beauty pageant reporting. You are not good in reporting politics. Which source? |

ManirBK: The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Plateau State governorship election inconclusive. The state returning electoral officer who is the Vice Chancellor of Benue State University of Agriculture, Richard Kimbir, made the declaration at exactly 3:31 a.m. He explained that the margin between the two major parties must be in excess of the total registered voters of the areas where election was held. The incumbent governor and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) polled 583,255 while his opponent, Jeremiah Useni, polled 538,326. The state governorship candidate for the Alliance for a New Nigeria (ANN) Alex Ladan, came third, polling 2,216 votes. The electoral officer furthered explained that the margin between the APC and PDP is 44, 929, while the cancelled vote is 49, 377. Mr Limber also said INEC would have to conduct a fresh election in 14 local government areas, out of the 17 in the state. These are Jos East, Jos North, Jos South, Kanam, Langtang North, Langtang South, Mangu, Panshin, Kanke, Mikang, Quanpan, Riyom, Shendam, and Wase.
