Then we had fun and did contacted each other outside Nairaland. Things have really changed.

We now have kids who are freshers or Jambites and know absolutely nothing. Hence, it is very easy for one idiot to mislead them into hating another tribe. An idiot who had the opportunity for revolution, but ran away and started brainwashing people to hate their country. I can't understand what's happening.

I am a christian, no one can convince me to hate Christianity except if I'm personally convinced myself.
I'm a Nigerian, no one can tell me to hate my country, except I choose to.
I am a human being, no one can tell me to hate on another who did no wrong to me or start calling them animals, inciting people against another people

The Aviation unions made up of the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE), the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Association of Nigeria Aviation Professionals (ANAP) and the National Association of Air Transport Pilots and Employees (NAAPE), have declared an indefinite strike that will take effect from tomorrow, Wednesday May 22nd. This means flight activities in all airports will be disrupted, Igbere Tv reports.


The unions in a joint statement released and made available to Igbere Tv, said the strike is coming after the expiration of an earlier seven days ultimatum it issued to the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) over failure to meet their demands. Following the industrial action, flight activities will be disrupted.


The statement as obtained by Igbere Tv in part reads;
“Having therefore exhausted all efforts and patience on the issues, we are left with no other option. Our unions hereby direct all staff of NCAA nationwide to commence an indefinite industrial action with effect from 0500hrs on Wednesday, 22nd May, 2019.”

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the unions issued a Notice of Strike Action against the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on Tuesday in Lagos.

NAN reports that the unions are: Air Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) and the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE).

The president who was scheduled for an official visit to the state on Tuesday 21st had to postpone it because of his trip to Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj. It's one of the numerous projects to be commissioned by the president.

You can't do international funds transfer from naira account. If you don't have one, get a friend or brother who has and transfer from his account. What is most important is that your passport number, name and Phone number appears as the transaction reference. With that the funds can be traced as your passport handling fee.
