If you're indicted in any investigation, you must face the panel and investigation. It is the investigation that would determine if you're guilty or not. If you're guilty, you'll be convicted, then the President can thereafter pardon you if he so wishes. However, you must be investigated first, subject to trial and then you know your fate.

Trump can't grant a Pardon legally or in line with due process, until he has been found guilty.

He was mentioned in a criminal matter and he's yet to clear his name. Granting him visa is like sweeping the case under the carpet. Atiku still needs to face the panel that convicted Jefferson. Granting him the visa is another waiver from a criminal administration

Former vice president Atiku Abubakar has for a long time been challenging Nigerians who accused him of being corrupt to come forward and prove it. So far nobody has come forward.

Well, has received a report on how Atiku was the subject of a probe ten years ago, by a United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, chaired by Senator Carl Levin.

The report detailed how Atiku Abubakar while still the vice president of Nigeria between 2000 and 2008, used offshore companies to siphon millions of dollars to his fourth wife in the United States, Jennifer Douglas.

Specifically, the report said Jennifer Douglas, an American citizen, helped her husband bring over $40 million in suspect funds into the United States through wire transfers sent by offshore corporations to U.S. bank accounts.

There is a report that still subsist till date that Atiku siphoned millions of dollars from Nigeria. The report was made in Nigeria, neither was presented by OBJ or Nuhu Ribadu. It was the US themselves that found Atiku guilty of a crime

It was Bush that placed a Ban on Atiku in 2004

In 2004, the then President Bush barred Atiku and other corrupt politically exposed persons from being issued visa to the United States.

The report was so thoroughly done that its yet to be set aside till date

During the course of its investigation, the Subcommittee staff conducted over 100 interviews, including interviews of lawyers, real estate agents, escrow agents, lobbyists, bankers, university professionals, and government officials. The Subcommittee issued over 50 subpoenas and reviewed millions of pages of documents, including bank records, correspondence, contracts, emails, property records, flight records, news articles, and court pleadings. In addition, the Subcommittee consulted with foreign officials, international organizations, financial regulators, and experts in anti-money laundering and anti-corruption efforts

The above shows that we're attempting to put a criminal back to power and Nigeria would be doomed forever.
President Obama never saw a reason to lift the ban on Atiku for 8 years, but another dubious man listed it. It is only a president that can overrule another president, hence Trump is part of the deal that allowed Atiku enter the US

In Trump's America, anything is possible. Russian collusion, longest shutdown in the history of the country, corrupt and lying aides. Hence, if they can do that in their own country, they can overlook a crime another national allegedly committed and grant access.

It's is a known fact all around the world that serving leaders in many countries enjoy highest form of respect from their foreign counterparts, whenever they go either on working or personal visit.

It is also a fact that they've diplomatic cover, which would shield them from arrest, expect if there's a strong international Court ruling sanctioning their arrest.

From 1960, to 2019 we've had leaders, some of who are still alive despite leaving office.

Buhari before he became president was never banned from visiting US.
Shehu Shagari was not banned from US
Alex Ekweme(A vice president like Atiku) was not prohibited from entering the US until his death
IBB can visit the US
GEJ can enter the US
Nemadi Sambo (A vice president like Atiku) was not prohibited from entering the US.

But for 12 years plus a certain Atiku was prevented from entering the US. It's not because they don't love Nigerian past leaders(after all, the aforementioned are free to enter the US anytime) rather it's because of a stain on certain past leader who's yet to be cleared up till today.

Here are few questions we need to ask

1. If Atiku hasn't committed any crime, why did he take him so long to travel?
2. Why did Atiku have to wait till he became the presidential flag bearer of PDP and use it as a campaign to fool gullible followers?
3. The ban was in place under President Bush and throughout the rein of Barrack Obama, he couldn't make it to the US, why wait until Trump got into power?
4. We were told that one of the people close to Trump was hired to help Atiku get a waiver into US, isn't it obvious that it's a case of a crook on one country allowing another crook access?

5. It's a fact that Donald Trump is dubious, the Russian collusion says it all. The president lied that there's no collusion with Russia against him or his campaign. Just yesterday, his lawyer admitted that there's collusion but it was the campaign team and Trump was not involved. Isn't it clear that US has a 'con man's as a leader?

6. Why was his visit shrouded in secrecy? Atiku remains a diplomat being a former number 2 man and he still enjoys pension, cars, houses and protection from the Government every day until his death, why will such a precious man to Nigeria travel without contacting the Embassy of his country where he's visiting? After all, no one can be arrested within the embassy of another country, no matter the offense.

It's obvious from the foregoing that

1. Atiku indeed has a case or cases to answer in the US
2. A controversial president who's assumed by Americans to be fraud gave his consent before another crook was allowed in.

Yes, Atiku is indeed in the US, but not in a clean way

There was a mild drama yesterday at the ongoing Abia Election Debate kicked off in Vision Africa Radio, Umuahia.

The debate which was organised by the Abia Based Media Houses in Collaboration with Abia State Chapter of OMPAN, saw the moment Dr. Chima Anyaso, a PDP candidate for Bende Federal House of Representatives shamefully abscond from studio while debate was ongoing.

The incident happened when Barr. Benjamin Kalu, an APC candidate for Bende Federal House of Representatives raised a questionable points, the latter, couldn't bear it and he resorted to foul language.

Running away from studio.. one can see/hear him angrily used an (inappropriate) language saying "screw yourself" displaying a middle finger.

Cost of wall is $5billion dollars but for over 20 days that the government remained shutdown, the economic cost amounts to same $5 billion loss. more people have dies due to gun violence compared to those that crossed the boarder into America, but the president chose Wall over Gun control and healthcare reforms, as he so wishes. The government can not prioritize all aspect at same time
