ugotuf:I'll consult my motorised dish to move from 1° to 3° west |
Chydobe:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_Broadcast_Broadband_TV Chinedu Odilibe Emmachile I guess this settles it. The decoder is embedded with dual function tuner, hence most Beinsports will be IPTV, but quality may not be HD, in order for it not to freeze or buffer. Hence one Device that would be showing satellite TV and Broadband TV. The broadband is powered by the dish, for those we are used to VSAT technology, they would understand. The internet that would be needed for transmitting the internet TV channels is surplus, the reason why there's extra 20gig for subscribers. I can liken it to gas flaring in the ND. Situation where total data volume needed would be like 50gig for 24hours view of the IPTV, but actually, ABS is producing 70gig per month. Instead of wasting the extra 20g, they give to subscribers as bonus. If not for anything, people can subscribe just to get the 20g, cos their speed would be 4.5g which is higher generation to IPNX, Spectranet, smile, mtel. Its a package of paying 3000 naira for a service of N50k per month. More like semi FTA ![]() |

kwameking:At the highlighted text. Answer is YES they can. It doesn't work as a one liner equation |
debby516:That's how its done |
life707:Hope you realize that broadcast is region or country specific. This could be peculiar to France territory and not rest of the regions Dstv owns the right in all parts of Africa, save MENA, when it concerns English commentaries |
life707:That's what I'm trying to imply. They may use language as excuse, by broadcasting in Arabic cos canal+ already have the French language covered |

Sossski:I had my hair cut on Friday 1/9/2017 and also departed Nigeria same day. I saw a barber shop on George Street on my way to Hay Market in Sydney and the price was 10AUD. I did the exchange at N299 via Zenith ATM, thats like N3000. But luckily, i paid my barber in Nigeria N800 to get cool hair cut. If i know how to barb, ill be making it cool in AU |
odilibe:You're right saw it on Wiki. Sub-saharan Africa English Supersport and Kwesé Sports French Canal+ |
Chinedu7:There are two cases in here, that are very similar DSTV/Canal Sat BT TV and Sky TV BT TV and Sky TV can show same EPL matches at times, especially as it pertains to some big clashes. BT has 42 EPl matches and Sky 126 EPL matches and one or two do clash. And yes they share channels, meaning you can subscribe to Sky and get to watch BT sports 1 and 2, but pay extra. DSTV did same with the french package and both super 3 and Canal sport 1 do show same EPL and same UCL matches. Now to DSTV / Canal. Dstv had this full package that covers several Audiences that speak both English and other languages. They use to Have Portugese package and the french package. During the days of Sport+ and when DSTV still broadcast Buli, they air same matches. As i posited above, Canal sport and super sport do air same UCL and EPL matches on different satellites, without one fighting the other(As far as we Know) On the canal sat Afrique package, you have Super sport 3, same way you have canal and french channels on DSTV west Africa. Back to the subject. Canal sat afrique broadcast in west Africa and they have super sport 3 in the arrangement similar to Sky and BT's. Hence, if you are in West Africa, DSTV can not tell you not to have Canal sat installed cos canalsat airs almost same sporting Events as they do. Yes different audiences and language broadcast. If you recall, I said the TSTV people can use Beinsport being french language to claim they're to capture the french audience in west Africa, except if the west Africa region is automatically Zoned to Canalsat, which i doubt. My point here is whether TSTV can broadcast beinsport via satellite and can do so within the ambient of the law of TV rights. You know we play dirty business game in Africa, caused by our brothers in SA. Startimes has over 5 leagues, and European world cup qualifiers, which DSTV do not have. DSTV has just two leagues in Europe, but UCL and Europa league. These two don't share content, they see themselves as rivals. But Sky and BT does DSTV and Canal does. TSTV can say Beinsport is new to Africa and we are the pioneer. My point is on whether TSTV can be permitted on the international law. Addendum. I know for sure that bein sports rights are only exclusive to the middle east and northern Africa region (MENA) Dstv has exclusive rights in sub Saharan Africa for some contents, but west Africa is also part of this region, which Canal Sat Afrique operates. |
IamRaizo:I give up. 400 feet? End time. How will hell fire look like and how deep with it be? |
ok. It started early Child is 9 years old in 2017 Tortured years= 7 Torturing possibly started at age 2 |
obynocute:I'm having a discussion with TSTV and thereafter would post my findings here, as I do not want to speculate based on rumors or what flies around, which may be frivolous. In the meantime, I do know for sure that there's likelihood that they use the IPTV platform to broadcast, but that would be 'disastrous' 'disastrous' in the sense that, our slow and expensive internet technology would put people off. In one of their ad on the website, they mention providing about 20 gig data, which comes along with the package monthly. If true, this corroborate the fact that they may broadcast some channels using the IPTV technology. The challenge would then be whether or not the satellite dish can transmit data to the decoder to serve as a server/router for internet service in broadband kind of arrangement or if they would be relying on other ISP. My worry is with our acceptance of IPTV, cos of slow network and high internet cost. From my travels around continents and interesting countries, NETFLIX (https://www.netflix.com/) is taking over. NETFLIX is a luxury in Nigeria, but outside Nigeria, it is not. https://www.netflix.com/ng/ In Perth, I have a friend that uses NETFLIX and monthly sub is less than 20AUD. Same in Sydney and Melbourne. I was privileged to watch couple of movies about 15 days ago whilst in Wentworthville NSW https://www.netflix.com/au/ What I do know also is that the internet connection must stable, to avoid buffering. SA too is doing same. Whilst DSTV operates from SA, Lots of people in Jo'burg are also 'NETFLIXING' They have some super stable internet in SA. I can attest to this https://www.netflix.com/za/ On My Andriod box back home, NETFLIX is just there, as I prefer Mobdro for football matches. In all, 1. We need to wait for TSTV to launch and we get a feel of how they would operate. Whether its going to be direct satellite TV channels or through IPTV. I'm 100% sure 80% of their channels would not be on IPTV. 2. If Canal sat Afrique is broadcasting in west Africa and showing almost same thing DSTV offers in terms of sport, why cant DSTV hack them or challenge them within the West Africa sub region? Or can we say it cos they broadcast 95% of channels in french Language? My second submission above would corroborate the fact that they may not broadcast beinsport on IPTV platform after all, since they broadcast not in English Language Similar, in the UK for instance, Sky sports got EPL rights, same with BT sport. These channels broadcast in England, N.ireland, Scotland, Germany, R.Ireland etc without any conflict |

Can anyone confirm if Bayo Omoboriowo is back as the phtographer of buhari? Also, was he being paid whilst the president was in UK? The last we heard was in May, 2017 'Where Is Bayo Omoboriowo?' President Buhari Asks www.nairaland.com/attachments/5262253_capture3_jpeg4480c4b52c001b14a641722f3e658923 https://www.nairaland.com/3782310/where-bayo-omoboriowo-president-buhari#56249136 Earlier today, President buhari was seen attending friday prayers in Aso Villa. Several videos have emerged of him walking to and from prayers, and in one of the videos, Buhari can be heard asking 'ina Bayo' in hausa. Which translates to 'Where is bayo?'. Someone in the crowd replied him saying "He's not around"Is he now around? |

frank202012:Spain’s central government launched its latest salvo against Catalonia on Friday, tightening control over regional spending and brushing aside a last-ditch separatist demand for dialogue to allow a banned referendum. Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy was due later Friday in the Catalan capital of Barcelona to rally his troops against a backdrop of soaring tensions over separatist leaders’ plans to hold the outlawed independence vote on October 1. State authorities have piled pressure on Catalonia, threatening to arrest mayors if they facilitate the referendum and ordering police to seize any item that could be used in the vote in a region sharply divided over whether it wants independence or not. They went a step further Friday by tightening control over Catalonia’s spending to prevent the region from using money to organise the referendum. Budget Minister Cristobal Montoro said Spain’s central government would take over the payments of essential services and public workers’ salaries in the region to make sure the cash went just to them. But separatists have reacted with defiance to attempts to stop the vote. On Thursday evening, Catalan President Carles Puigdemont and other regional players launched their campaign for the referendum in front of a crowd of thousands of cheering supporters in the coastal city of Tarragona, ignoring warnings that the event was “illegal.” In an open letter distributed to domestic and foreign media on Friday, Puigdemont and other leaders including Barcelona Mayor Ada Colau denounced “unprecedented repression” by Madrid. They also asked Rajoy and the Spanish king for a last-ditch dialogue, but were promptly rebuked. “It’s ironic coming from those who have refused dialogue save for a very specific issue — the only one they care about — the independence referendum,” government spokesman Inigo Mendez de Vigo told reporters. – Big cities key – The latest tit-for-tat tops weeks of mounting tensions as Catalan leaders go ahead with referendum preparations despite Madrid’s ban and a court ruling that deems it illegal. On his trip to Barcelona, Rajoy is due to rally the troops within his conservative Popular Party around 6pm local time (1600 GMT) but is not expected to address any crowds. Catalonia remains sharply divided over whether it wants independence or not. A poll in July commissioned by the regional government found that 49.4 percent of Catalans were against independence while 41.1 percent supported it. More than 70 percent, though, wanted a referendum to settle the matter. If they win, the separatists vow to declare independence within days for the wealthy northeastern region of Spain, home to around 7.5 million people. Some 750 mayors have pledged to hold the referendum, but they head up mostly small municipalities. Among the most populated cities, five out of 10 will not get involved, and question marks remain over the biggest of them all Barcelona. Colau said Thursday that people in Barcelona would be able to vote “without putting institutions or public workers at risk,” but she gave no details as to how this would work. – ‘Right to vote’ – Catalonia, which accounts for about one-fifth of Spain’s economic output, already has significant powers over matters such as education and healthcare. But Spain’s economic worries, coupled with a perception that Catalonia pays more in taxes than it receives in investments and transfers from Madrid, have helped push the cause of secession. The pro-separatist camp argues that a referendum represents their right to self-determination. “What we are doing is exercising the right to vote… that forms part of a basic democratic exercise,” Catalan Vice-President Oriol Junqueras told Spanish radio on Friday. The “repression” they denounce includes legal proceedings against Puigdemont and other Catalan officials including members of a newly-created electoral board to oversee the vote. Big business lobbies, though, have come out in favour of Madrid. “What companies want is judicial security,” Juan Rosell, head of the CEOE employers’ association, told Spanish radio after his organisation published a statement in support of “all necessary actions to ensure respect of the current law.” AFP |

Nnamdi KANU has reduced average Igbo man into deplorable and they have no other anthem than hate and evil thinking. Most Igbo's are Christians and claim to go to church, but their acts aren't different from those of pagans. What does the bible say in Romans 13?KANU and his supporters have disobeyed God and should be punished as ordered by God See verse 2 KANU told IPOB to burn down Nigeria if he gets arrested, is that right? Did Papa Awolowo do half if this before he was charged and jailed for treasonable felony? What about Gani fawehinmi?
