I think its high time we create a forum for Volvo users with expert advice on any issues. I will nominate Kamikazee to be a moderator cos i just bought the S80 and that car is a bomb. So, i want to have a good maintenance culture about the car for it to last longer. |

komekn: I am perplexed beyond reasoning, can somebody explain to me how highly educated informed and sometimes well travelled Nigerians car owners listen and agree to unsubstantiated views, diagnoses made on sentiment by largely uneducated in fact quite often illiterate mechanics. Bros, i think you are very right and that has really contributes to a lot of cars been abadoned. Moreover, i wouldn't want to blame the mechanic atimes because some of the car owners want cheap labour and inferior spare parts. 2 Likes |

I drove a friend Volvo S80 2001 model just imported from US and i was amazed. The engine is cool and quiet cos u hardly hear the car passing by. The seat was very comfortable superb with all auto control, the car movement is fast and smooth, u hardly notice when the transmission is changing, very spacious and good for family, the sterring is very handly and lots of control on the steering, the car radio is well built that u can use it with your phone, the chasis is strong and the tyres is well balanced, the AC na die and so on. Sincerely, i am planning to order for one as soon as possible. The problem we have here in Nigeria is just that we are used to 2 types of branded car which is Toyota and Honda. If you go to Ladipo u will see enough spare parts and good mechanics. The problems we have in nigeria is just that we lack maintenace culture, bad roads, in experieced machanics, insensitivity to the usage of our cars and rough driving. Take it or leave it, no car without its own pros and cons, its all about maintenance and luck. If you like tell me any rubbish about the car, am going for it. 1 Like |
