The reversal is unacceptable... The school has more facilities than some of the existing fed universities.

PoliticsRe: Power Supply Is Almost Constant In My Area. Why? What Happened?? by Davvymavvy: 2:25pm On Aug 02, 2015
The op knows the answer now. Politics shouldn't be about blind loyalty but assessing government and governance based on the happenings that have both direct and indirect effects in advancing our cause for a better society. The new Sheriff in town is a no nonsense man but the facilities have been on ground just that Jonathan's friends rode on the horse of his ignorance and weakness to sabotage and frustrate all his efforts. Yet, he held them dear to his heart
PoliticsRe: Facts About Unending Refinery Hullabaloo... by Davvymavvy: 11:31am On Aug 02, 2015
Whynotthetruth:
Yes...so many facts show the sincerity and political will of the last administration to get it right in oil sector...

1)Existing facts have shown that having done the prerequisites and plants were up and running...the outflow we are getting now started coming...

2)Subsidy removal was another evidence of sincerity and political will to do the right things in oil sector by Jonathan and team...

3Deregulation of oil sector as evidenced in PIB is another evidence...

4)Privatisation or selling of refineries was another evidence though labour stood against such laudable initiative and killed it...

5)Probe of subsidy thieves who joined in bringing down his government is another proof...

6)Why not ask why is it that buhari who was against subsidy payment and said its Jonathan's means of milking the treasury refusing now to remove same...Does it mean he wants to milk the treasury toohuh
Political will was alien to the last administration in critical areas of national importance. Was it security, war against corruption and our battered image in the international community?....

1. Are you for real? that should be a sarcasm right?

2. Subsidy removal was a right initiative but at a wrong time. Even the partial removal had no bearing on the advancement of Nigerian people because of the lack of direction or of political will to implement necessary policies devoid of deceit and unnecessary patronage of the political hyenas that crowded the corridor of power in the last regime

3. To be fair to him, he tried in that aspect

4. Because they could see through the prism of their hypocrisy. Selling of country`s asset to few loyal friends

5. Where is the report of the probe? Who are those found culpable? Where are they now? Serving a jail term or wining and dinning with the power that be? The defaulters cut across political divides i know but nothing was done and you called that a proof? undecided

6. Buhari`s intentions have always been geniune as evident in his approach viz a viz openness to national issues
PoliticsRe: Facts About Unending Refinery Hullabaloo... by Davvymavvy: 10:27am On Aug 02, 2015
This thread is expository but we must ask ourselves pertinent questions that bother on the sincerity of the last administration, since it was admitted production would be ongoing while fixing what needed to be fixed, was a litre of crude oil refined in any of our refineries when the said maintenance exercise was ongoing in the last regime?

A new dawn, a new era. No rest for the evil ones, no rest for the corrupt people. Nigeria shall rise again no matter how slow, we are heading in the right direction and don't forget that slow and steady wins the race.

Baba, we know the change you promised us won't come without its challenges but we believe in due time your haters would come to terms with you when they see your sincerity at correcting the mistakes of the past.

In God we trust

Nigeria shall rise again

ChrisOD:
Is this not a Yoruba name? How did PDP sideline the Yoruba here?
U mean Binta Bello from Gombe state is a Yoruba woman? PDP just sidelined Yorubas in the sharing of principal positions. So, no credible honourable from Ekiti that gave PDP maximum support in the last elections? Even sizeable number of PDP reps come from Oyo and Ondo. Owkay o, we are watching

It is very funny that federal character was not considered when electing SP and Speaker of NASS, just to satisfy their well concocted plan, they are churning sentiments under the facade of federal character now for selecting principal officers. You have won this lost battle but tomorrow is pregnant with painful pay back.

PoliticsRe: Senate Crisis: NASS Clerk Faces Trial As Police Establish Forgery by Davvymavvy:
This is a clear case of forgery which is a punishable offence....we should not be soft on criminals polluting our corridors of power, they tamper with a legal document and I ask to what ends? Just to actualize their selfish ambition? Make we dey look how the thing go end.

NB... Saraki is a great threat to nigerians struggled change, He was sponsored by the criminals to grant them further impunity and set a plot to return nigeria back to PDP's style of govt in 2019.

Foreign AffairsRe: “don’t Blame Us For Not Supporting The Nigerian Army” – US Senator by Davvymavvy:
Funny US, when they invaded Iraq looking for fictitious weapon of mass destruction, killing, maiming and brutalizing the innocent Iraqis, it was cool then, no abuse and violation of human rights in that regard.

Their sponsored uprising in Libya that led to the dead of thousand of civilians was an humanitarian service?

They can brag all they like, do you blame them? Blame those that plunged us into this mess of economic comatose, political quagmire, lack of foresight and perpetual consumers

Whynotthetruth:
On the cancelled, Kindly point them out to me later, outside the thread...Isn't it clear that buhari is the hypocrite and liar herehuh
@the bolded, no need!

Nothing justifies his sudden change of mind of not going after the looters of our common wealth. I don't believe in defending politicians that contributed to the sorry state of the country irrespective of their region and religion. They have made us slaves to emotion and bigotry for their own selfish gain. Justice must be serve on the altar of equity!
PoliticsRe: Daring The President On Halliburton Scandal Prosecution. by Davvymavvy: 7:35pm On Jul 24, 2015
The problem of Nigeria is hydra headed and the simple solution is what we are not ready for. Hypocrisy has taken another dimension in our engagements, we see nothing wrong in an open rape of public institutions as long as the perpetrator is our brother. While your points are valid and genuine as in the case of Halliburton where a whooping $140million could be added to the covers of nation if those involved are prosecuted, I have noticed your hypocritical stance on issues of national importance.
PoliticsRe: I Begged Tinubu And Akande To Make Buhari Their Presidential Candidate-Dasuki by Davvymavvy: 10:37am On Jul 23, 2015
PPAngel:
Dasuki's appointment was used to mend the fence with IBB.

Jonathan's major undoing is that he was too obsessed with appeasing old powers and playing unnecessary politics with the north than building his own power base. In so many ways he was naive and too compromising in not seeing that the north despised him.

This was Jonathan's major flaw. Now compare with Buhari who does not give a damn about federal character or the next elections.

You can't play fair with the north and expect them to reciprocate. This is what even Tinubu is getting to understand now.
Word at the bolded
PoliticsRe: Dasuki And The 'my Brother' Syndrome by Davvymavvy: 12:43pm On Jul 20, 2015
barcanista:
Nonsense! We all know know that Sambo Dasuki, Aliyu Gusau, IBB and co belongs to a different Military camp from Buhari, Abacha and co. It all started in 1985 when Buhari was toppled by the IBB "boys". Dasuki personally pointed gun on Buhari's head in Dodan barracks. When Abacha struck he moved to relaliate. First, he deposed Dasuki's father as the Sultan of Sokoto. Then he prematurely retured Sambo Dasuki as a colonel. Buhari was part of Abacha's government and one of Abacha's strongest ally. What we are witnessing is continuation of their fight and not corruption fight. If Buhari wants to fight his kinsman then he should move for the Abachas.

#Nonsense
Barca, please rise above ethnic prejudice and political bias,,,,,,you are too intelligent a man to be tossed around by emotion and blind support for a political party you have no stake in. No offence bro
