Before I start, disclosure: I am not in support of homosexuality, but I do believe there is more to it than meets the eye in terms of what factors determine whether a person is gay or not.

Now to dispel some false notions on this thread:

Homosexuality has been in existence for centuries - if it didn't stop the human population from hitting 5 billion, it can't stop the human race from growing now.

Homosexuality has been in existence in Africa, prior to contact with Europeans - that is why native languages have descriptive terms for homosexuals.

Why do morons on this thread not threaten to kill fraudsters, adulterers and fornicators and only do so for gay people?

For all the misdirected 'religious' fervour here, how come Nigeria is in the abysmal mess it is in despite all your hatred of homosexuality?

Personally I don't go on parades to declare I like women, so I don't get the 'gay pride' parades and the likes, but as a group of people who are traditionally treated badly, they do require legal protection so lunatics like the ones on this thread don't kill them.

PS - for the idiots who enacted laws against homosexuality, I suggest they enact similar ones for hatred, adultery and fornication.
