I applied for MSc economics last year and we had another qualifying test after the proficiency test. It was conducted by the department itself and i didnt meet up with the cut off. Please i checked through the available programs i didnt see Oil and Gas Econs not to talk of CPEEL. Is it available thjs hear house?

Really strange, when applying you should check the proposed faculty, you should be able to find centre for Petroleum, Energy, economic and Law (Cpeel), same thing goes for the proposed department. But on the specialisation, there are energy economics, oil and gas economics and power economics etc

UI form is not yet out.. Nothing has been said about it on the main site. If u follow one unofficial link, na OYO u dey o. Don't fall victim to scammers. Besides, ur application number must look like "PGX170615********"(date u registered) and not PGS345777**********(random numbers) that I've been seeing around. UI's official mail ad is "info@pgschool.ui.edu.ng. If u get a mail from an ad apart from this, consider it scam.

I was also facing this scenario before. But you should ask which of the two goes in line with your career goals then follow suit. Anyway cpeel (energy studies) is more expensive and it has the international coverage, I also learnt that they are nt affected by strike whatsoever...

It depends on your location and the Quality of the board. Here in Yola I had mine for 35k (a friend made it for me sha... .) It is a worthwhile investment, you don't even need to be running it yourself just get somebody who will do that for you and remit 1k every day. But if you decide to do it yourself you can make as much as 3k daily. Just get your boards, find a very good location (probably near a football viewing center, bet shop barber shop or anywhere that attract young boys) and thank me later

I have no information on that. I called FSB for enquiry on that but they refused to pick my calls.

You have 2 options, either you choose another country or you stick to hungary (kinda gamble) like me.

At the venue, if it is no longer available, they will advise you to chose another country (last year experience sha, hoping for them to stick to it this year)

I believe that the agreement will be finalized before the end of the registration (my personal opinion... Going by last year stuff... People registered for the country after the FSB BEA scholarship around first week of March unlike this year's exam that will take place on 2nd week of February).

My humble contribution... Make your own research and choose countries that you believe solely on without being influenced. (What worked for Mr A might not work for Mr B.)
