Celebrities / Re: Kemi Omotoyinbo : Popular Dancer Dies 20 Days After Wedding [photo] by Dayjhihannon01(m): 10:52am On Oct 03, 2014
mimikool: Popular dancer, Kemi Omotoyinbo, who has performed with Pasuma and KWAM 1 among others, reportedly died in a Lagos hospital on October 1 during childbirth

Popular dancer and upcoming actress, Kemi Omotoyinbo is dead.
Kemi, who has performed with the likes of Pasuma, KWAM 1 and Shina Peters, reportedly passed away yesterday, October 1, in a Lagos hospital due to complications connected with her pregnancy.
The dancer was reportedly admitted to the clinic after she went into labour but unfortunately she couldn’t have the child naturally and a Caesarean Section was recommended.

However, the hospital demanded a total fee of 450,000 and an initial deposit of 300,000 which Kemi’s husband, Godwin Eloanyi couldn’t raise.
Reports have it that despite several pleas to the doctor in charge, he refused to carry out the procedure.
Kemi eventually passed away that night, 20 days after her September 13 wedding.
A friend of hers reportedly said:
"The hospital killed her with their negligence and wickedness. Kemi would have lived if they had done the operation on time but money was more important than a young woman's life.
"Kemi's husband said he would pay the money the next day but the doctor refused and stated categorically that he would not move an inch else he pays 300,000. It was at that point Kemi decided to forward messages to people she knows so she could get help. She got responses that money would be made available to her the next day.
On hearing that the husband went to beg the doctors again, still they refused. My point is, the doctors knew she had to go through emergency C&S. they could have saved her life and get the money later. Nigeria is a very bad country I must confess."
May her soul rest in peace.

Oilandgas1: I am sorry baby that I didn't make it today because my I-phone had a problem and my I-pad battery is dead. My sister is with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I'm just here at home so bored since my parents travelled to the U.S.

I would have Skyped with you but I misplaced my Apple laptop power pack so I have to hit South Africa tomorrow to get a new one. I also wanted to go to the mall tonight but my auntie went out with the Range Rover keys and my elder brother went with the

Hummer. Baby I'm so stuck here since I hate driving the Mercedes Benz, I tried calling the driver to bring back the Pajero but no credit. Can you please send me MTN credit?

Sanchez01: Relationship for most people today is a huge flop, thanks to some of the female folks.

Unfortunately, a large section of ladies don't know this to be true. Some end up taking the blame for a failed relationship just to make the guy look like an angel. Pathetic if you ask me.

Call it evolution or changing times, it is obvious a lot has been lost with the fast pace of time.

A female friend walked up to me last week and asked me a rather funny question, 'Am I fat?'. I smiled because the puzzle fits... 'He said you're fat, right?' I asked back. 'Yes, he has been complaining that I'm getting fat an he doesn't like it'. She stated.

I just couldn't give her a response because my obvious answer would be a 'NO'. She had actually added weight but it was obvious the guy does not like it.

Funny, I saw her in a Sport wear going for an early morning exercise, which I have never seen her do before. She arrived into the compound and ended up working herself more at the balcony! It was sight, a very funny one.

Just like her, most ladies have traded their self-esteem for love. They hardly appreciate themselves for who they are and would rather love to hear or take the sour pill from a boyfriend whose opinion differs from theirs.

Based on readings, when a guy tells you you're getting fat, it's an insultive way of saying 'can't you emulate the tall straight, sexy looking girls?' And should a guy complain you're becoming skinny, he is as well saying 'why are you all bony?'

Truth is, if you don't appreciate who you are, others would describe you as anything.

Someone who loves you should love everything about you and not just your gorgeous shape, hips, lips or a section of your body.
Applause

lawrsmith: one of my rag days experience in school taught me a great lesson on how some guys can despised their fellow guys in favour of a girl they did not even know before.one of those rag days in school a female lodge mate begged me to follow me to onitsha main market for raging because she is not from Anambra state and she barely know any place in onitsha so she decided to use the ragg day as a tour since i was born and breed in onitsha, and i have some friends who are into business and i count on them while going there.guess have disappointed i was.on getting there with my female lodge mate on my well costume outfit, most of my friends i have my mind on, that they will drop a little change for me fall my hand wella.most of them shifted their attention on the girl i came with, they were busy collecting her number which i was not even against after all she is a girl and pretty too.i was so disappointed that some of them gave me #20#50, the highest amount i received from them was#200,but the girl i came with who did not know any place was busy collecting,#100 #200,#500,#1000.i was disappointed, but for fact that it was not the girl's fault i started joking with her that she have to pay me for taken her to onitsha which we laugh over while still on ragging. on goten to our lodge that evening to check the little change we made, guess what? the girl made close to 30k while i was struggling with 10k, that experience was a lesson to me on how some guess can behalf in front of pretty girls.:
