This is to informed those that are anxiously waiting for the university of jos 2007/2008 post ume, should know that there will be no post ume screening test this year,the directive came from THE NUC that unijos must finish the 1st semester and be in the 2nd semester b4 embarking on the screening examination. So d screening test will likely comes up by january next year.

The admission office of the university of abuja today releases guideline for admission for the 2007/2008 acedemic section, check it out.

1.The first admission list will be base on merit, that is 2 or 1 best candidate from each state in each department, e.g In economics dept 2 best candidate from those that applied from each state 2 that particular dept.

2.Special consideration will be given to those candidate  from the catchment area, i.e Kogi state, nassawara, Niger state, and FCT Abuja.

3.Less educational developed state.

Note that this guidelines will be strictly adhere 2 by the admission office.

The 2007/2008 post jamb screening test might have come and gone but what amazed me is the influct of people coming to lobby or runs for upgrading there post jamb score and admisson which is already hotting up, u should knw that only 4000 thousand space as been allocated by the NUC for uniabuja and about 45 thousand sat 4 the post jamb test excluding the DE student, The post jamb cut off point is 160, and 200 for law/medicine. u can call me sha 4 any info.
