Please my Toyota Corolla is misfiring,I went to my mechanic,he said it's plug,we changed the plug,the same thing,he he wanted to drive the car out of his workshop which is very Sandy,the car was jeering, he said it was fuel pump and filter we bought original of the two,after all he drove it and said my car is back to life,me after driving the car it was still the same thing,you know how you'd start a car and want to move fast,it would delay for some seconds,that's how the car is working,but I remembered I changed my air filter,3 days ago,my car stopped consuming fuel within that period,but as it started this it was consuming alot of fuel,am tired don't what to do again,and have spent 20k already.

This is how I see it. It's obvious you are not happy. If you don't have any major responsibility yet, you should quit before it's too late. Be ready to even change states. Banks can't epp!!!!! Maybe in the past they were, but right now!!! Nahhh. They are all looking for business themselves, looking for one individual who is already established to scam!!!

My advice, never deal with bank: it's better you just raise money through cooperatives societies, it might be slow but at least you know you are save to some extent and no bank will come and steal your idea.

Moreover, how do you expect an employed bank staff earning say 300k monthly, who has no skills and can be sacked anytime, he can never see where you are coming from when you go to him with an idea, they will only see their own job security... I don't blame them... na Nigeria cause am. They now say they are doing SME's... nonsense!!!! They will rather help a big politician or the likes of dangote that has incurred so much debt.

So finally you raise the money and business starts making sense, you register the company and then you decide to open a cooperate account. First of all the form is too long, then they say they will do some verification which you will pay money for. The annoying part now is that they will be charging a certain ridiculous amount on every 1000 naira you exchange through the account... and the bank did absolutely nothing to help at the start of the business, yet they want to eat out of it.

My point is, majority of those bank guys can't understand your idea, therefore they can't see any light anywhere. They only know how to balance account... which is actually their primary job. If the account doesn't balance then it cannot work...

Entrepreneurs need to think outside the box. Thank God for the foundations coming to our aid these days. God bless you guys.

Don't mind all the people discouraging you. It's a nice idea and you will make it. You can easily get misled on this platform. I am a driver and I'm also a partner so I know what I'm talking about. Some drivers complain because they are always thinking too small. Their attitude is their biggest problem. I have four drivers working for me, they are smart and I also give them better orientation. You don't limit your income generation to just uber or Taxify... people were making money from driving before they came in. They simply identify a need and they came in. There are still many needs people need cars for out there. Identify them and stop limiting your income generation to just uber and Taxify. And example of what I have added is school runs. It's a fixed amount monthly and I share profits with my drivers, it encourages them and it also makes them understand we are here to make money, not just work for uber or Taxify. You just need to think big.
