Even dayo knows that one slot from Germany was taken away Inspite of Munchen's victory in 2001. Now how could that be being Man U won it in the year 99 of the old millenium ?
It can only mean one thing students, THAT THE FCKING ENGLISH TEAMS WERE BECOMING BETTER    . SEE HOW EASY THAT WAS TO UNDERSTAND
The point here is that ONLY man Utd was raking in UEFA coefficient points for the EPL. While Arsenal and Coventry were slugging it out in Worthington Cup.

Arsenal pre 4 EPL slots never played a CL quarter final so how did they help the EPL cause? in 1998/99 when Man Utd won, Arsenal crashed out in the first group stage behind LENS and Kiev.

in 1999/2000 when Man Utd played quarters, Arsenal once again failed to qualify from the groups

Edoyad claims 4play is Dayokanu. GAYYners keep breaking all insanity records everyday

Sauron is talking shit again. . . hardly surprising.
France have 3 slots and which team is to thank for that since they've all been shit?
Its like GAYYners are naturally brainless.

Marseille won in 93, PSG played Semi in 1995, Monaco played the final in 2004 and Lyon always made it to knockout stages
In the 90's EPL clubs didnt even get to knock out stage.

Do you guys know that EPL had 3 slots while Germany had 4 slots in the CLin the early times of the expansion?

While Man Utd consistent performance in reaching the knockout stages helped EPL gather more points when the likes of Arsenal were playing the FA cup.

Only Man Utd was gathering coefficient point while others cant make it to knockout stages.

While in University, I hated Man utd because they were the only EPL side who coould make a difference, I always wished other clubs would represent EPL so they would be disgraced in the CL like Arsenal and co were getting battered from all European sides.

edoyad,

tell us how EPL copped UEFA coefficients to get 4 slots if not for Man Utd, Do you think It was the exploits of Chelsea and Arsenal in the FA and Worthington cup that made UEFA increase slots to 4?

Without SAF winning those titles and beating teams in Europe after the ban of English clubs in Europe, the EPL woulda stagnated.
With Fergie came success in Europe thus forcing UEFA's hands to allow England play 4 different teams in the Champions League.
What woulda been the fate of Arsenal/Liverpool if this country is only allowed to play 2 clubs in UEFA?
I agree with this because If not for Fergie EPL woulda had 2 representatives in CL

Arsenal played semi finals first time in 2006 and quarters just once  shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

Chelsea played just one quarters before Abramovich shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

Liverpool was not even an issue in European football

Edoyad its the performance in European competitions that determine UEFA coefficient and slots.

Who cares how competitive you are if you cant play CL knockout stageshuh

See what EPL does to Nigerian players? The Martins of Wolfsburg bench >>>>>>> Martins of Newcastle

We are seeing the Martins of Inter Milan once again.

Martins time in EPL was a disaster for National Team.

Check players like Aghahowa, Utaka and co, The moment they got to EPL their form dropped why?

EPL is crappy

No wonder England cant win a tournament Infact Any country that has too many EPL players cant win a tournament

Abeg o. Make Klose no come take Yobo and Nwanerri break World cup goalscoring records

Did we really qualify or is this some form of April fool?

Even though I lost money betting that Tunisia would win I still happy.

This is why I spend more time elsewhere.

If it is not Sauron then it is DayoKanu with thier nonsensical statements.

I prefer to wind up the spuds in their own thread than come and listen to drivel here.
And when we give GAYYners their own portion of winding you go ballistic
