joseph1832: And I can also make a personal research and say 'igbos' are the most tribalsitic tribe in nigeria that's also the fact and where in stops. However does that make my research right or make it a fact!? Some might call me a tribalist, some might call me a realist!
"Igbo as the most tribalistic" is an opinion not a fact. You seem to have problems differentiating between Facts and opinion.

Facts are universally accepted true statements e.g Nigerian Flag is Green white green. Opinion is "Nigeria is a bad country"

babyosisi: let this thread be a testament to the non Yorubas of Nigeria especially the minority groups the extent many Yorubas will go not only to attempt to destroy others but to destroy their own who refuses to dance to their tribal owanbe.
Check all the name calling Goodluck Jonathan receives,it is mostly from the same people who see nothing good in anyone as long as he is not wearing a babariga and a cap with ears.

Agblagba means elderly

Agbado means maize

Idi means nyash

joseph1832: A professor can't just publish a book without doing his research properly. Professor Achebe is a renown scholar recognized for his literary works! Why should he write a book about something without facts! Mind you when you don't just air your opinions anyhow! Have you ever heard of slander and libel?
You can make a research but the conclusion you reach are still your opinions.

I can research and find that Ibos are much into business thats the FACT and where it stops, Several people can form several opinion from this FACT. One might call it greed, another might call it industry

Maybe if you understand why they hate OBJ.

GEJ won the SW in 2011, OBJ never won one SW state nor Local Govt in 1999

joseph1832: Of couse they do! They said what they said devoid of fact and figures that's why I said they should write a critique of Achebe's book! Simple.
What Achebe wrote was not facts either it was his opinion and everyone too has a right to either agree or disagree and air their opinions

They dont need to write a book, they can air it anywhere.

Dayo, let me ask you some questions

1. Are you a chelsea fan?
2. I thought you were a bayern fan?
3. Do you ever see torres bouncing back?
4; Why do you want chelsea to fail?
1. I am not a Chelsea fan
2. I am a Bayern fan
3. Bounce back from what? My opinion is that Torres has always been an above average striker who had a fluke season in 2008 like Santa Cruz had like Adebayor had. etc
4. I want Chelsea to fail so that the foolishness of depending on Torres would be brought to fore. Its stupid depending on Torres but some Chelsea fans dont see it that way and probably Roman too

Romance › Re: My Boyfriend Is Married In Nigeria! by dayokanu(m): 7:32am On Dec 26, 2012
MainAttraction: I think the same thing happened to me. I dated an Igbo guy who was 10 years older than me. I was young (19), in college, and we met at our mutual job. I kept it a secret for many months, until my friends (alot of whom are Nigerian) found out, and many warned me that he was probably after papers/citizenship. My family also found out, and my dad WAS NOT happy, he is super over-protective. Anyway, I claimed I was in love with him, but as time went out, I realized that he was probably married in Nigeria, when I met him he had just moved to US. He always talked about us getting married, even though we had been 'dating' only a few months. He was very very secretive about his family, as he stayed with his sister and her family, and I never met them, that was another sign. There were just many warning signs, that I ignored, until finally his insane jealousy took it over the top. I was going to Uni in another city, and he would go crazy if he thought he heard a male voice in the background, even though I would be in a busy public place, with many voices in the background.

Now, that I'm 22, graduated Uni, and more mature I realize what was happening. Anyway, I do sympathize with you because when we believe we're in 'love', we will ignore everything and believe anything.
Hmmm your story sounds familiar, Like the one a friend told me before.

Yours was different you were young and impressionable which we all are, But not for this poster who I believe should be in her 30's even her daughter who might be teenage could decode the motive.

Ok never mind I checked your profile pic. How was Xmas and the snow today? I couldnt go out at all today stayed indoors all through.

How about you?
https://www.nairaland.com/609390/sir-louis-odumegwu-ojukwu-not

Let us not rewrite or distort historical facts please.
Do you have anywhere it was written that Ojuku was the richest man?

What are the facts in what you posted?

In the same link you posted this is written

"Not minding that Africans hardly get it right at occasions like this, I still felt a need to put down my thoughts (which I insist, are my personal thoughts for which I take full responsibility) on a particular award or recognition of the night for the record and for posterity. A half truth told over and over again assumes the status of truth. I write on the award given to Alhaji Dantata for being the foremost businessman of his era."
Sir Loius Ojukwu was the richest around that period.
Well if you research yourself you would know that Dantata was way richer than Louis Ojuku.

And stop all those beer parlour gists, this is the internet. You can research yourself.

That was how someone told us Emeka Ojuku was the first African to attend Oxford University

his maternal great-grandfather was the richest man in West Africa in the 1900s (the book quotes an editor of West Africa magazine as referring to Alhassan Dantata, in 1955, as “possibly the richest man of any race in the whole of West Africa, and was in himself, a living rebuttal of the allegation that Africans, as a race, have no commercial aptitude, an example to his fellow — countrymen of what a man can rise to even without education and a wealthy background”).
A decade later maternal grandfather Sanusi Dantata was listed, by Time magazine, amongst Nigeria’s richest persons.
