ABUJA—THE Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, sitting in Abuja, yesterday, quashed the entire 3-count criminal charge that was preferred against the erstwhile governor of Lagos state and leader of the opposition Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu by the federal government.

The former governor was charged to court on allegation that he violated section 7 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act, Cap C15 LFN, 2004, as amended, by operating10 foreign accounts whilst he was in office between 1999 and 2007.

Guys dont get me wrong ooo, I am totally in support of true federalism, but are you guys really sure that an SNC will achieve true federalism, how will the SNC be organised, if we use population figures as we have it now, the north (hausas in particular), will have majority representation at the SNC and will use this to block the request for true federalism, even the SW is against it as evidenced by their stand at the last constitutiuonal conference organised under OBJ, so I wonder if you guys have thought this thing through,

If is it only true federalism we want to achieve we can push this through the national assenbly, this can be done agressively by GEJ government

As a South South man, If an apology is issued, How does that resolve all the pertinent issues bothering your ppl, The pollution, the lack of infrastructure. I believe as a South South man, you would rather the country give you development commensurate with your contribution and keep their Presidency (I hope I am right)

The basis for founding this union called Nigeria is flawed and we cant continue to patch it up. Several things would be discussed at the SNC first, The first and last question should be are we willing to stay together as a country.

Then all the injustices in the current system should be addressed. All these window dressing of the issue wont last
