Yes I do, I have yet to figure out how the GeForce optimization works(but I guess it writes binaries for games optimized as opposed to just changing the settiings) this is because in a game like watchdogs, when I started playing it, all was well and good(I set it to high because I was trying to give the game some respect) but then I got driving and the game became terrible. I then adjusted the game from high to medium to low and to ultra e.t.c but was still having the same problems and then I went to GeForce optimize it, GeForce experinece set the game to ultra(highest possible settings) and when I saw it I was shaking my head coz I was like "game wey dey get optimization issues on low, na ultra e go come smooth" but then lo(w) and behold(pun intended), I played the game and the car scenes where I would get less than 5FPS went up to 35-40.

How much more compressed do you want the games to be Oceanofgames rips their games from nosteam and skidrow and then further compress the already compressed games so that's practically as low as you can get. What games do you want to download first? Drop them and I'd see if we can work something out.

The thing about using Linux is that it has to be your decision. Too many people have been told many reasons but at the end of the day were disappointed.
I started using Linux out of curiosity. Others have different reasons. I could tell you that it's more secure, but security depends on the user.
There are people who claim to have never gotten malware on their windows machines, there are also Linux users who have been careless enough to get their browsers compromised.
I've heard people argue that development is better on Linux, but for me o most development tools on Linux can be found on windows, and there are a lot more proprietary windows development tools which make programming easy on windows
What I would recommend is try one out, Ubuntu or mint should be fine. If you like it then you can install it on your PC. That's one of things I like about Linux, I can use it without actually installing it on my computer.
I would suggest mint because you can play your mp3s without installing anything else from the internet, although there is an Ubuntu variant that does this too but I've never used it and can't remember the name.
Warning, If you are downloading mint DO NOT download a no codec version otherwise you won't be able to play your MP3 out of the box.
To the Ubuntu fans out there, I know this is an Ubuntu thread, no offence meant, I actually use Ubuntu (actually xubuntu) more often than mint, but for a new user it would be very depressing to try out Linux and find out that simple MP3, mp4 files can't be played out of the box (and it's worse if the person doesn't have an internet connection)

You make some really good points, I have never used mint so I don't even know anything about it but when running ubuntu(especially with a GUI) I find that it is easy to figure things out, obviously an internet connection is important during the setup process and installing the music and video binaries is second thing I do(first is install openSDK). Same as you, my linux usage was based on curiosity but I stay on linux mostly because it stays interesting, I have found that with windows, after installing a set of files and doing certain things, it gets boring but on linux, you typically might learn new things everyday.
Ubuntu 14.04 has a very beautiful GUI by the way so that's encouraging as well.

I used my 6+ on Smile WiFi and it worked flawlessly.

My unlocked 5s had issues on Glo data for some reason.

I had to constantly relog on to iCloud and there was no option for a hotspot.

Try to stretch up to a 6 if you can.

I'm completely pro Apple and have all their devices except for the server, yet.

Normally, you should be able to view pictures but it is best you download a client like itunes or ifunbox. You should probably download both and see which suites your needs best, I find myself using ifunbox for things that are not OS related.

OP the fact of the matter is that if your reasons for buying an iPhone are exclusively what you stated in your OP, then you are bound to not like it. Most people here on nairaland and anywhere else that would openly criticize an iPhone have simply not used one and the ones that have and still do probably were limited by things such as data and native tweakability. In my opinion, if you wan use iPhone wella for Naija, you gat geek at some point coz Nigerians like free things and apple does not so you end up looking for ways around different things.
Now iPhones themselves are generally more durable than other phones and that's a fact, my iPhone 3GS that I had had for years just packed up a few months ago and that was because it encountered a terrible drop that led to a problem on the board, if I switch that out, the phone is back again(PS the iPhone 3GS was released in 2009). Not to mention that you get iOS updates steady, imagine an iPhone 4s still getting iOS updates and that phone was released in 2011, I would like to see an android phone from the same year run android 5.0.
If you are not scared to jailbreak, maneuver the file system a little bit and well, be a pirate, then you just as well might stick with Android as the M8 is a pretty good device and this is the reason why a lot of Nigerians have qualms with iphone as well, not forgetting their prices.
By the way OP, I use a LG G2 and until yesterday a blackberry q10 as my main phones and also currently have an iPhone 5c, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s all in my possession for sale so you can be sure I know exactly what I am saying.
You should probably get ahold of an iPhone 5s and use it for a bit before making your decision, but I hope you make the right one

I find it crazy that they are marketing the Raht Racer as a "faster and safer bike" when it is so much more. The only similarity it has to a bike even is the fact that it uses a pedal mechanism and even that is very different from a conventional bicycle.

Well, it was stated in one of the tech articles that pirates(maybe even everyone) would have to pay for Windows 10 after a year so I figure that was how chose to interpret it.

Holy shi/tttttttttttttttttt. Satya Nadella is doing shi/t. So when windows 10 drops on mobile, I can get it on an android device(when I say android device, I am not talking about tecno and the likes). Although this is the freshest thing as far as Operating System tech goes, this is probably a mistake as well, I know a lot of people who plan on moving to windows 10 mobiles when they come(from microsoft) and a lot of tech people around the world have the same plans but doing this, I don't need to leave my high end android device for a high end microsoft device and that is sure to have an impact on sales. Microsoft might wake up from this slumber and make the "flashable versions" previews of sorts with some of the key features disabled.

Hello fellow nairalanders I posted this cause I really need to come to terms with my computing needs I'm in my 200L in school studying geology and I really need candid advice on a laptop to get to suit my Needs and my pocket ....m for the macbook I know stuff from apple are always expensive and what not but I got a great deal from a friend for less than 90k, I have always loved the smooth tech apple dishes out never really had the chance to experience it one on one , but I also love the specs on the lenovo g50_70. Post the specs of both the macbook and the lenovo PC. The macbook might have a core2duo processor and 2 gigabytes of RAM, so that wouldn't really be a good deal. Based on the specs of both PC's, we can help you make a better informed decision than just riding on the laptop names.
