To the best of my knowledge, if ur internet speed is too slow, say if ur average speed is below 1Mbps, ur PING ll be too high, which also means ur LATENCY will be high. Ur game ll take longer to communicate with servers and therefore result in ur game lagging even if ur PC meets the recommended specs of the game. And true logging into Origin everytime i want to play even in offline mode can be annoying.

I had the same internet problems and i had to change ISPs a couple of times when i realised using my MTN modem was not enough to game online.

That is actually not what ping is, your ping doesn't really have anything to do with your speed. What your ping is is how long it takes for your say router to connect to your network server, if your ping is low and say you start a download, you see it begin immediately but with a higher ping, your connection seems to "lag" before the download actually starts. So in online gaming, longer pings translate to gaming lags whereas your actions only happen after a few seconds of actually applying them.
You were right on the second part though, higher pings lead to lags.

The exchange rate of one currency to another doesn't determine its value bro, whereas buying stuff in dollars in Nigeria requires you exchange directly, in the case of cedis, the same price is actually multiplied, according to Kimco by three.

It might be that your computer came pre-loaded with Windows 8,if that is the case, you have to do research on how to remove the windows lock for your particular type of PC.

Well I am at least 90% sure that the iPhone in those pictures is legit, also I don't see what the fuss is about, there are some iPhone 5's with gold cases, I'd personally not just buy one coz they are hard to sell for the same reason people here think they are fake which is simply the unusual colour.

MSI afterburner or Nvidia inspector(if you have a Nvidia card) personally though, Afterburner didn't do anything until I installed Nvidia inspector. Plus the ui of the latter is similar to GPU-z so you can pretty much understand it in a matter of seconds.

Seriously though, apart from the fact that you seem to playing against noobs, your gameplay seems nooby as well. You were ducking for the whole of the first minute and consistently through the match, shooting into the air, just waiting for your opponents to f*** up and come toward you rather than seek them out, no gun switches, no tactical kills(i'm talking headshots and shii), really just basic stuff and you are talking about "how long it took to get that good" and the times you got hit were simply pathetic if you ask me, not to mention that I spotted at least 4 opponents that you could have easily killed but didn't even see. I don't know about other people here but I wasn't impressed especially seeing as you're trying to taut this as being some advanced form of multi-player gaming.

I wonder how you guys play FPS on consoles tho. Aiming with ur analogue sticks must feel rather awkward as compared to aiming with a mouse. I dont see myself playing FPS online on consoles. I go just dey die anyhow But nothing weeks of practice wont fix, right?

I actually play FPS on both console(PS3) and PC. Generally, I don't have any issues with either just that I find PC gaming a lot more convenient as opposed to consoles. Just like Cao, I am chilling my console gaming till there is a PS4 slim(if they release one).

The one I bought is by a Chinese company so I was having my doubts when buying it but it does a pretty good job. My laptop is 17.3 inches so it may be too big for 15.6 inch laptops below but the name is Jeway JN-4007.

pls where the link to dat benchmarking from gpu boss. can't find it. anyways i remember playing the game on very high on my c2d + gtx 280 pc and getting a consistent 30fps at 1080p. some benchmarking sites are all bull**** and only advertise for newer hardware by making old hardware look bad.

i fail to see how the gtx 770m was benchmarked at 29.3fps at ultra when tomshardware benchmarks battlefield 4 at 27.5 at ultra....a vastly superior game. i dnt mind the link to gpu site tho.

Just check GPU boss for Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M, thwy always put the scores for games like bioshock, crysis 3, Diablo III etc.

You may just have missed out on a clone o. Unless you find someone really desperate, you can hardly get a 5s for 55k(unless it is 16GB, chipped and with some other factors).

So since I have achieved "laptop cooling greatness", I decided to overclock my GPU. Now the performance is definitely something to write home about. So again the test platform was my laptop and test subject bioshock infinite. What I noticed majorly is that with the overclock, apart from reaching higher max frame rates(over 120FPS) in bioshock infinite with everything on and on ultra, the minimum frame rates went up. I guess I'd have to recommend a cooling pad to anybody who is a laptop gamer with a dedicated GPU, it is well worth it.

By the way, I have undone the overclock as the normal performance is pretty good already and because my GPU temperature started to hit 90'

Yes, my laptop screen is 1080p and I gaming on my laptop. Gpuboss gathers benchmark info from different sites(I think) and on checking most sites, "anandtech" inclusive, the 770M was benchmarked at 29.3fps for Bioshock infinite. My cooling is crazy currently crazy, very happy with the cooling pad I bought(just that I would have loved for it to be a bit bigger) so i am obliged to think that your GPU performs better than average if well cooled.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50 is a very good headphone but you won't spend less than 30k to land it.

The Hd380 pro is a pair of headphones that I quite like but I gather that you need a good amp for it to reach its full potential. Do you have an amp for it?

Wrong, I am a big audio enthusiast(financial requirements no dey let me call myself audiophile), I use the beats pros and they are just as good as the Audio-technica ATH-M50s which I also have and the sony MDRx10s. I personally cannot use any of the lower models of beats so I agree with you on a partial note. All the beats pros need to achieve greatness is a little EQ and if you check head-fi, you'd see that this is an agreed upon opinion. The pros are a little heavy on the price as you can go higher on the audio spectrum with what they cost but I quite like the brushed aluminum build as I can carry them around with confidence. The sound for me is really good and as such I even use them all the time with my laptop even though it has Harman/Kardon quad speakers with dual sub-woofers fitted.
Point of my rant is; you can trash beats but don't trash the pros and mixrs and maybe the redesigned studios.

The brand new is about 130usd aside shipping. so i am currently trying to get a used one for about 65usd, then buy a 3.5mm connector for about 20usd to carry out the mod, by the time i ship it down to nigeria. i must have spent at least a total of 100usd

The m40x is a good choice, I'd personally go with the m50's or m50x just because they are bigger.

I am beginning to think that benchmarks may not be as accurate or reliable as we think also, system requirements can be bogus sometimes. So I just started playing bioshock infininte yesterday (previously ran it on my windows 7 partition but couldn't play it as I couldn't get it to detect my nvidia card) and I was getting 40FPS above on ultra, this is a game that was benchmarked at 29.3FPS on GPUboss and a few other sites, today I bought a cooling pad and I am getting up to 90FPS in the same game so essentially I am getting even better perfomance than if I had a 780M. I honestly don't know why the GPU is performing so well compared to the norm but who am I to say I don't love it.
Below are my fraps benchmarks for the game running everything on and on ultra. Also, in the third one where the min rate is 8, that happened when the loading circle started spinning,

Oh, I just realized that it is past 4 so I started playing the game the day before yesterday.

And the sound is very good for it's price.
If you are not cash restrained consider the jabra revo headphone.

The skullcandy hesh 2 aren't exactly audiophile headphones, they have good sound alright but not so good that they fit even close to the audiophile category,but honestly if you are looking for that kind of sound quality,the $40-$50 range isn't the place to search.
