I'm nt saying I don't make mistakes neither am I saying I'm all righteous and holy, infact u may even be better dan me morally...but one thing dat may put me ahead of u is d fact dat I have Jesus who is there to redeem and save me....you also have a chance to have Him too if u so wish.

You can never enjoy eternity in hell, satan has no friend, no matter how good u are to satan, he will definitely devour u and no matter hw bad you are to God, His mercy and grace still abound for u.

Tithe according to d bible was never money...it was agricultural produce yet there was money system already in those days

The emphasis on tithe was d food and never money....deuteronomy 14 vs 22- 29 made it clear,

It explained d fact dat, u sud carry ur tithes to d place whr God has chosen and if the place is too far, exchange the tithe for money and wen u get there, use the money to buy food and eat before the lord

Moreover, this is an ancient law, the period of temple, tithing, peace offerings, sacrifice, priests, levites... The mosaic law in general

Jesus said in matthew 23-23..for u pay tithe in mint, anise and cummin....these were agricultural produce not money.

Anybody who still practices tithing does not understand Christianity and is ignorant of the bible

Anyone who still preaches tithing is either a fraud or does not understand wat he preaches

But during d days of levitcus, there were temples, burnt offerings, interceding and tithing.

@ Op, you are not obligated to tithe in the 1st place, wat u need is to be a cheerful giver, nothing like calculating 10% of ur gross income (and if it were even supposed to apply to christians, it's meant to be net income and never gross income).

To say u two will make terrible lawyers will be an understatement.....self defence is wen some1 is trying to hurt u and u defend ursef from getting hurt. This case is different and it's pure violence and retaliation, the retaliation in this case is opposite of self defence as it cud ve provoked the gentle man to respond again and cause her more deadly injuries.
My advice to u, take it or leave it; wen a guy hits u once and stop, don't ever respond and hit back cus u may not be as lucky as dis lady to meet a gentle man who will not respond, then u will learn how self defence differs from violence.

Thanks for ur response, I once had a brethren whose mother was very sick and was hospitalised, he's som1 who believes in tithe and he's committed but the day he received his 1st salary was d same day his mum was rushed to hospital and he has to put down all of his salary at the hospital to save her witout taking a naira out of it not to talk of tithe...now how can u describe this case, this cud also come in different ways, perhaps, it cud ve been his brother, friend, neighbour etc whose life needed to be save at dat point
