You do know I'm yet to say Dagrin had the best flow in Naija . . . Sauron just forced words into my mouth.
Hehheee, Eldee, no let that brain dead bozo set up o, he's sure lookin for pple to star in his life movie: Dead brain talkin'.

My issue is the fact that you don't want to accept that it's harder to rap in a language different from English.
You really want to say that you don't believe that English has a wealthier word bank than Yoruba??
Come on . . . even Dagrin had to borrow words from English sometimes.
That's my first point.
See, i dont believe it's harder. Dagrin wasnt force or sentenced to rap in yoruba.
He chose it cos tht wat he's more flexible wit. if u dont get that point there's nothin i can do.
if im more dexterous in french, i can manipulate it, turn and twist it to achieve ma goals, i wldnt think i culdda done beta wit another language. whether that language has the largest body of words or not. And now u agree he uses english, but of course u only agree now to further ur own point hence u use borrow~~u amuse me, truly.
Ok, so if he uses/borrows english too, that means he has 2languages to toggle, so how constricted is he then.
I beg rest dis matter, u dont have a point.

The second point I raised is this, it is harder to rap in Yoruba when your key influences are American.
That's why I raised the fact that everyone uses an American accent, why?? Because they are influenced by these guys.
Guess u dont fully understand what influence is.
So french writers who are influenced by greek writer find it more difficult to write in french?
Same goes for german artist influenced by the americans?
Tupac influeced political activist, and they dont even rap.
Dagrin cld be influenced by 2pac, but influece influences, it doesnt restict.
Some pple are even influenced to do greater than their influence irrespective of creed, language or nationality.

Then I highlighted another fact that in your own words . . .'people that start genres are given a special recognition'.
Dagrin, is one of the founders of Yoruba hiphop, yeah there were other people before him, but he is undoubtedly the first name that pops into the mind of the average Nigerian listener when you ask about Yoruba hiphop.
It's harder to start a genre . . . FACT.
This is not a subject of discourse. I neva disputed that, and u have what i said that u quoted to show that.
I do not see the relevance of this.
I luv dagrin, he put mother tongue rap a hot look.
I heard him and im like yeaa, now we talkin, this is wat mother tongue is all'bout.
like i said and always say, he's a beast on the mic.
He flows wella, but flow king? nahh~~Neva!

DBR, give it up.
Stop deviating the argument. . . .We have asked you to name a better Naija rapper with flow, and we kept hearing is how you were conceived by a cheap drunk intimacy.
If you turn to paper, i will write a million bars on you till there's no space to write no more.
Deviatin'? oponu ni boy tii shaa!
No be u dey deviate. form dagirn, u enta M9, 300syllabic, multies, rhymin, all which u kno mothin bout.
I do not doubt u will write millions of barz~~im sure u'v discovered new sources to pilfer OPL(other pple's Lyrics) from. ole jatijati.
The same idiot that argued "Javelin" and "Abdomen" don't rhyme is now saying "Stomp" and "Drop" are perfect rhymes.
Now i know where the problem lies.
It's your oral English that has got a problem.
If u have any iota of live brain cell, and u not a compulsive liar u wldnt publicly say i said they dont rhyme. Y not quote me?
I said Javelin and Abdomen cant rhyme witout u slantin 'em. Is that too complex for ur hoolow head to comprehend?
U are d daft nincompoop that said its a Perfect rhyme.
Drop and stomp wld rhyme only as slants. its no perfect rhyme. But of course u'v dodge the fact that not just 1st and 3rd words rhyme as u foolishly said. seriously i pity u, cos r folly is just so revealed to e'rbody now. sorry, u hear.

But we aint suprised when instead of a skull that protect the brain what u got is coffin, of course we kno why.

The concept of multi-syllabic rhymes clearly evades you.
This is why you think lipstick and mystique is a classic multi.
Dem don swear for you. . . .Too bad you don't realise.
Hahaha.this goofball is runnin out of ideas?? Oya go ur archive and dig out ur insults
maybe them swear for me. But im still beta than U wey dem dey take swear for pple.

I've said they shud war against bestiality, cos when a diseased cow crossbreeds wit semi humanoid
U have a stubborn chowderhead like u.

i tot u had hope, but u gettin more retarded every key u punch.
Stil your deflated ego wldnt still letya kno the best thing is to stop typin
if i ever see u show up on rap thread again with all the atrocious statement u makin bout
multies and rhymes na pelt we go pelt u, u are a disgrace NL writers.
. . . .Who says all the words in multies must rhyme?

In two syllable multies (wu-tang, blue-flame), of course, either syllables will rhyme, or it wouldn't be a multie!
However, in three syllables, it is usually the first and last syllable rhyme (stomp-his-back, drop-the-bats, cocking-macs).
Next time u go stealin comments try and read them b4 postin. cos u drillin hole in your already sinkin boat.
Only 1st and last rhymeshuh chei, this boy, who do u like this??
well,at least we makin progress, u now agree they must rhyme.

stomp his back
drop the bats
cocking macs

If u do not see that every word in these linez rhyme then i'l conclude your egg was fertilized in saw dust.
But seriously why dyu have to reveal to us that u got ashes of goat feces for brain?

I advice u again, stop bringin me back.

Yours is simple an intelligent display of knuckleheadedness.
How dyu set out to make ur self sound intelligent but only succeeded at achieving the opposite with such wide margin.
even tho u were dropped at birth is not enuff an excuse.
Dont take it out on me blame the pedophile nurse in the mental maternity ward who dropped u on ur head.
But then u cant blame her too, she hasnt see a baby with Instruments for head before, she had to molest u.
U gettin frantic, no vex, truth hurts.
. . .If you think Payan Ri, Jiya R[i/i] and Somori don't rhyme together.
Even ma Yoruba classes told me they all have the same tonations(/do/-/do/-/mi/)
Bozo! so any words that share the same tonation automatically rhymes. LMAO
Do u hear urself?? this is what happens when lethargic sperm is mechanically forced to fertilize rotten eggs.
Ur image shud be standn in the dictionary next to slowpoke.

It's no slant rhymes. The words actually rhyme. Are you a retard?
U mean you don't know "Abdomen" and "Javelin" rhyme together? Must every rhyme be Saint, Paint, Taint and Faint?
Like i keep reiterating, complex rhymes are beyond your single digit IQ. U need an IQ booster.
U betta send out dog catcher to go fetch the one that took ur brain thinkin t'was vulture's carcass.
Tell me how Abdomen and Javelin rhymes witout u slantin it~~u r so cluelsess.
It's just a pity u xposin how ignorant u r bout things pple tot u knowlegable bout.

And wat use is 3 or 300 ways syllables if the dont rhyme? Like i said it's d third portion which is the ri ri ri that rhymes.
Insisting the words actually rhyme is the abysmal depth of idiocy.

Told u, stop bringin me back.

Of course Yoruba is constrained for hiphop. . . that's a FACT.
Why?? because the word bank is minute compared to English . . . FACT!!!

Hiphop favours people that summarise ideas/stories into short lines while constrained by beats you can't skip.
Guys that rap in Nigerian languages are at a disadvantage in hiphop. . . but Dagrin doing it better than most other rappers is exceptional.
And German, French and Spanish are obviously lightyears more developed than Yoruba or Hausa.

Also, you seem to forget that these artistes are starting something new in Nigeria. . . it's harder for you to rap in Yoruba or Igbo if your influences were Jadakiss, Tupac and what not.
Isn't that the main reason everyone in Nigeria raps with an American accent??
FACT? FACT? wat arrogance.
Fact by who?
plssss, all wat u hav said here doesnt change the truth.
If dagrin didnt feel constrained , nobody else's gon tell me contrary.
Summaries, short lines,,wtf, y r u gropin' for a point that doesnt exist.
Now u talkin accent? Must y'all win a discussion at all cost? pppshhh!
16barz aint even a standard no more, dudes are kickin 400.
Dont sell that idea to me, i aint buyin corny merchandise.
The only disadvatage is that of audience. kapishhh!

And i'v been sayin it, y'al shud quit actin like u dont see it,
he doesnt rap exclusively in yoruba, he uses english when he needs(ed) and wants(d) to.

Saurone,
we all have competents, there are those who kick facts, and who are knowledgable on NL.
there are those who result to insult to cover up the shame of their ineptitude at puttin
their brain to work while typin. Now e'rbody knowa u dont belong to the 1st class.
And the more insult u throw just futher butress the point.
We dont expect anythin less from sm1 who's brain wasflused out at birth instead of the placenta.

A klepto u are, comfirmed, molested abusive child. comfirmed; we are bout to see if u a liar too.
tell me Dagrin slanted those words to rhyme, c'mon go ahead lie to d entire NLer.

Call me waeva makes u sleep well at night, it dont change nothin. we used to same tired abuses.
It wont make ur harebrained arguments valid.
And r u so braindead to quit recyclin themhuh
We shud be mournin u tday saurone, not yar'adua,
cos in his last state yar'adua was more intellectually resourceful and competent than u cld eva be.

If "Only a lunatic will say Da Grin's lyrics i quoted weren't classic multis"
It sure take an bubble headed orangutan like u to call it classic.

So are you actually coming here to imply that Yoruba has up to half the word strength of English??
You do know most of the words in the Yoruba Bible were descriptive right??

Words like, Asoromagbesi (radio) and Ero abanisoro (telephone) . . . Yoruba is extremely confined, especially for a modern day application as in the case of rapping.
Even everyday items in Yoruba are described, and you're comparing that to Anglais where the 1,000,000 word mark had already being crushed last year??
The fact that Dagrin could go at par with many other rappers even with this should at least get him some credit . . . come on.
Eldee, i wonder how u guys see a truth and u just wanna create tension in it cos it's a lil' bit at variance wit watya think.
U and saurone are the guyz paintin a picture that dagrin cos of his language of rap is  constrained. Im sayin he is not.!

Heck, eedris rhymes in hausa and eno, Nigga raw rhymes in igbo, french, spanish german rappers all do it, so wats the fuss?

Yoruba is the language he's more competent with. plus he still uses english! so wat constrain u talkin bout?
I aint takin anythin from him, cos u guyz are tryna make pple think im anti Grin now.
The fact that the language he uses is even more descriptive is a plus, cos that's wat rapper try to do, paint pictures.
So when a language exist that naturally lends itself to that, is that a restriction or a blessin'??~~ goodness me!!!
Rhymin or multies aint more difficult in yoruba' thats wat im sayin, did he ever say he felt disadvantaged??

More like hate recognize hate!
E'rbody knows how u turn green at the mention of the name M9.
U had to bring him into the discussion, im sure u dream in a nine mode format!
So u rplied to this by sayin:
Cos y'all Modenine fans can be irritating. . . . .I have never seen wackness that hyped in me life.
So anywhere any M9's fan says anythin',  u have vowed to stand against it whther u make sense or nothuh Way to go boy!!
HPB no go kill u for mode mata oo. Plus, it takes only a slowpoke sorry i mean Saurone to say M9 is WACK, im sure u didnt mean that  grin grin

If Da Grin isn't the king of flow, who is?
Considering the fact he had less words to choose from in Yoruba lexicon, i think he has more talents than your Mode-10.
He spits better and has better voice control than Modo.
Stop sayin he has less words to choose from. obviously u do not kno how rich yoruba languaqe is.
I do not recall Ajayi crowther complainin he didnt have enuff yoruba words to translate the entire 788,258 words of the bible!
If dagrin didnt feel he's beta off and more competent rappin in yoruba he wldnt dare, that wld be like wearin ur
trouser half way to run a race, he's not as dumb as u implyin he is. Plus, he uses english words to so we can say he even has an advantage.
And u just hit the key word: u THINK,
Well u are entitled to waeva u wanna think, but how dyu expect us to take u serious when we kno ur thinkin is biased and warped?? Im sure u dont even take U serious.

You are the one ranting like an Arabian Camel due in the labour room.
Ma opinion shouldn't give you menstrual cramps, isn't it?
U serious? LMAO ~i wonder then why ma own opinion on a subject that has no M9 in it gave u
a fit of congenital epilepsy.
Mongoloid like u shudnt allow hate ruin wat is left of ur impaired chromosome.

So ri ri ri is all what you see even though i underlined the syllables Da Grin was working it.
It's official. . . . .99% of Modenine fans are stark illiterates.
Is this not it?;
Mo ti jiya ri
, Mo ti jale ri
Die loku eyin somori

Mi ba ti payan ri

u underlined the bold text.
Now saurone, how has that help ur sorry case.
this is pure display of sychophantic ignorance!
Infact, show me the multies wit ur so called underlined syllables,~~ im waitin'.
Show me how it even rhymes, or multies aint s'pose to rhyme no morehuh??
The only thing that helped those barz is the ri ri ri that gave it any semblane that some tots went into it to make it rhyme
To think of it that I doubted the authenticity of the scandal that revealed u as a lyrical kleptomaniac ,
but if it takes a "stark illiterate" like me to skool u like this since u kno nxt to nothin bout multies and rhymes,
u must be worse than revealed, plus now im sure u have an excusable reason for "fappin" lyrics grin

When you make sense with your points, get back to me.
U don't even understand how multis work. . . . .This is why you think 'ri' is a multi-syllabic rhyme.
To Modenine fans, one syllable is multi-syllabic.
Oh puuhleaazeee!, Havent u heard sense makes no sense to an autistic child?
But incase u r gettin better, read ma response above.

Ofoka is better than Mode9 lyrically and i can bet ma mortgage on it. . . .Mode9's last album is the worst album from any Naija rapper. . . .
Yea yea~~u need to come up wit new vapid statements, this one is tired. Didnt u say that bout the album b4 this, and the one b4 that??~~yet u save up and plan installment payment scheme to cop the next as soon as it's gon drop grin grin
Ma bruv, suck it in,  u'v neva sounded so unsmart in all ur NL career life!

Anybody can write up multies but how you present and deliver it is what makes you stand out.

DBR, I've seen better multies from you on this forum than the one you posted for M9 there.
I'm sure M9 has better multies than that.

FFS, even Ofoka pens multis.
Yep, i'v seen more complex multies here too.
But have u heard the track??
Im yet to hear any1 tell me Rap messiah is wack. E'rbody i'v heard talk bout it gave it thumb up.
Even saurone hasnt! He's hiddin under the Top eleven for now.
So yes it's simple but gets the job done.
How many 9ja emcee deliver complex multie like we pen on NL.
Penning it is one thing spittin it is another.
I didnt post those lines hypin it as Incredible outstandin multies verse from m9, , did i?
but compared to wat Saurone is hypin in here this 9's verse trounced it both in text and delivery!!

Game recognises game.
If you have a listening ear, you would know Da Grin rides his beats.
Listen to "Swag" and "Pon Pon Pon". He made those beats his own. . . . .No useless pauses(like Mode-9 does when he runs out of things to say).
More like hate recognize hate!
E'rbody knows how u turn green at the mention of the name M9.
U had to bring him into the discussion, im sure u dream in a nine mode format!
Ur closed mind, hungry to attack anythin M9 has blinded u. Cos i neva said dagrin doesnt flow nice.
i even said dagrin is the issshhh,  so get ur mind right boy!
And like i said he aint the KING of flow, and i didnt say M9 is either so what r u on about?
Every sane listener knows im sayin the truth.
Blame his promotion crew for not getting his classic album out there in time.
Death or not, his album is RICH and better than anything your Mode-Failure has copped in his entire life.
Of all rapper in the industry to compare DAgrin wit, Y M9huh
Compulsive obssession aint to far a distance from insanity dude.
i like like a brotha, i dont want u to get old, sinile and fuddled wit hate b4 ur time oo. grin

What's so complex about these lines of rubbish?
Lip stick, piss-stick, biscuits. How generic are these rhymes? Are these even multis in the grand scheme of things?
Abeg, Mode-9 is a Arrow. He should give up rapping and stop fooling deluded cock-lickers like you and Khanye.
Saurone, this is DBR and I take exception to u callin me a cocklicker, xcept u want us to start relatin' that way.
That said, complex is what u now lookin for?
u mean like wat u quoated:
On Thank God with Omawumi. . . . .

Mo ti jiya ri
, Mo ti jale ri
Die loku eyin somori
Mi ba ti payan ri

I dare any Mode-9 fan to provide any Mode-9 lyrics with such well-laid multis fitting perfectly into the snares of a beat-box
ok, i get ur defination of COMPLEX here~~LMAO!
U r so eFin' unbelievable. Dont u think this ur statement>"Are these even multis in the grand scheme of things?" will sit
better with this ur revered barz from dagrin? ri, ri, ri,?? or what else rhymed in the whole linez apart from the ri??
Place lipstick, piss stick, biscuit, animalistic egotistic ,mystic against ri, ri, ri, ri and plenty more rises in the grand scheme of thing, saurone i'l go with the biscuit , ok. LMFAO!

M.I. is still better than Mode-9.
I made the biggest mistake of me life buying Mode-9's Da Vinci Mode. . . . .I shoulda just thrown the money in a pit latrine.
Nigga was so useless he was rapping about Super Eagles, i mean WTF?
I'v refused to be taken aback by some of ur not-so-smart criticisms.
pple sing, rap, paint,draw and generally xpress there passion;
pple sing bout guns, dubs, rims, booty, breast, money, cribs hennesy, blings, religion, politics murder, necrophilia, masochism, pedophilia, and all sort of unthinkable and disgustin shiiiit, but that sits well with u right? and now u tossin Wednesdat Thurs.and Friday cos sm1 rhymes bout his national dream teamhuh? U need to be seriously psychologically examined!
Plus, aint Top eleven just 1 of 22 tracks??

U both still ma dude tho.
But seriously saurone where u been dude?
@eldee
I do not think multies is easier in a particular language.
There r loads of dudes who cant multie in englias as "vast" as its vocab is.
Yoruba is as flexible if not more than most languages:
E.g. "OKO": can mean different things, from car, hoe, husband, stone, farm ~~
just change the inflection/tone and u got sth else , so its easy to ryhme and multie wit it.

Da grin is the issshh no doubt, but most of y'all runnin mouth didnt think much of that b4 he died!

Are you on cheap drugs? Are you ignorant of the street response to his death or is this some jolly-posting attempt? undecided
Next time b4 u set ur fingerz to type me such insolent question u shud double check whose post u respondin to.
How stupid can u get spewin' such asinine trash? So it's d street response to his death that determines he's king of flowhuh
It's either his death is turnin u to an slowpoke or u r just naturally this way.

Music/RadioRe: Drake Announces Possible Collabo With J. Cole And Lupe Fiasco. by DBR: 4:43pm On May 04, 2010
Drake wont dare.
It's a big game he playin'
Like he reachin out to the dude Cole.
They both kno there's a subliminal rivalry btw them,
and Drake is smart enuff not to allow Cold Cole ice up the present flamy fame he got.
The catch of wat Drake said there was "i hope they willin"
eventually d collabo wont go down,or maybe t'will have just the other dude, and the
conclusion will be that Coldcole wasnt available-which pple will read as he aint WILLING.

And yea J.cole Renegaded Jay Z on that track!

Jagz doesnt pass for a rapper in the first place, he can rap though, so i wasnt expecting a hip hop album. He really is a Jack of all trades, knows a lil something about everything. He's someone in the mould of Timbaland IMO.
'we dont say autotune, we say its a Jesse jagz track'!
lol, i heard that line on one dude's track. That boy aint bad.
Dyu have any link to the track(downloadable).
I enjoy the dudes flow~~and he too random subliminals at dudes oo grin

Hehehee, M.I is just one witty crazy dude!
"Wonder y "Kelly Rowland" is dissing you and why she sounds like a nigerian man
LWKMD, this is below the belt o, he callin K.Handsome a sissy? grin

I like K.handsome flow shaa, sounds kinda nice, delivery is cool.
He aint a rapper so to that xtent lyrics may pass, he still did better than some rappers.
But he dont want it with M.i
Im sure he knows too but he just wanna vent cos he feels m.i took a shot at him.
Times u fight, not because u kno u'l win but cos self defence/preservation is innate.
