It is advisable to include your CV and employment reference with your visa application.
I only uploaded the current work reference and a cv that covers the study gaps.
It is more than 10days and I have not received any mail for additional documents.
infact I did a paid mail on application status, which I got a reply mail that confirmed decision has been made already.

Waiting for update and collection mail and trust God it is a testimony of Visa alert already.

Thanks and I am sorry Mr Justwise. We planned Priority for her but it was removed from TLS website. It is for my sister and the guy already collected money from another person for POF so he won't be happy to leave it for another 15 days even now that I am ready to pay him extra, the other person that promised just failed to fulfil his promise. All tuition fees has been paid. I just don't want the account to be empty before the decision is made. The application has been received by DMC already

You have to go to the center. they will ask for an automatic response and like magic, you will be given an appointment date.
The appointment date my wife got was
7days including weekends.
She went on a Friday and she got an appointment for the other weeks Friday

I'll be applying for the visa as soon as my CAS is issued next week as a dependent.

My wife is yet to do a change of name, so she's still bearing her maiden name across all her documents but we have a marriage certificate and wedding pictures.

Just do affidavit on change of name.
It is one thousand nairas I did it in ogba , Lagos.
The affidavit and marriage certificate was the only document she presented when her school demanded proof of a change of name before her CAS can be issued.

PRAISE GOD HALLELUJAH!!! GOD ALMIGHTY HAS DONE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

If anyone doesn’t remember me, I will introduce myself briefly and will encourage some1 to click on my profile name to read a lot about me.

Some weeks ago, I was the person that was asking a question on behalf on my friend that I said he travel to UK and become overstayer for at least 4 years, did Judicial Review-one was successful while the other was unsuccessful and out of the unsuccessful Judicial Review, Home Office certify one decision as “clearly unfounded claim” but now God has done it for me.

In order words, I was the one that was disguising as my friend-you can click on my username and see more about me.

In short, with my overstayer in the UK for 4years and certified decision and JR, I put in my application for an entry clearance as a Tier 2 worker migrant (skilled worker/health and care worker) on the 8th of December 2021. The timeline are as follows:

Tier 2 (Health and Care Worker Visa) application submitted on the 8/11/21
Biometrics done on the 16/11/21
Application transferred & received by DMC on the 16/11/21
Application transferred to VAC 29/11/21
Application received by VAC 3/11/21
Passport with 3 years visa received by me on the 3/11/21. In fact I didn’t wait for the collection mail before I went there today. I arrived at 2pm, check in and received my passport with my visa

NOTE: All I will advised to people in my shoes that are U.K. overstayer with an entry ban is to return home in time, give home office about 3-5 years before you make an entry clearance application and be truthful in your application and please do not lie. Lying is not good and gather all your material evidence in order.

NOTE 2: A bit of warning to those that do mock people in this forum regarding their status, I will continue to say they are not God and they cannot know what God have for you. I can remember one person in this particular forum that mock me and say a lot of things about my UK immigration history but I told the person he/she is not my God and finally the God that I served have done it for me today and by special grace of God I will be among those that will be in the UK. God once again I thank you, you are so good to me and my family.

NOTE 3: A big appreciation to @ Bourne007, he/she is a wonderful and great person to me. He/she even asked me to obtain my SAR (subject access request) immigration history from the UKVI, which I did but till today I didn’t receive it till I applied for my visa application and received my passport today. I pray that as you meet my need my God almighty will also continue to meet your need and that of your family IJN. I am really grateful personally to you ma/sir.

I think you are making an easy thing complex unless the funds are not available yet for the children to apply. If the funds are available it may be advisable to apply for the dependants(spouse & Kids) at the same time.
Acclimatizing for a month then returning for the kids is wasting precious resources. The link sent above makes taking a child without your partner seem easy but its a bit difficult and time wasting at the point of entry.
But if the fund is not available, then you can apply alone but have an answer for why you are leaving your kids with their grandparents etc.
And there are many reasons to do so depending on the ages of the children:
1. Since you are only leaving for a year or thereabout, you don't want to disrupt their education as the system is slightly different

2. If there's any below age 3, the cost of daycare is high and the child is used to her/his grandma.

3. You don't want to expose them to the unnecessary culture shock for just a year programme
And add the clause that if at anytime the children are missing the parents, you will come and pick them to be with you!

I just want to make this clarification :
Can a spouse apply for a dependant visa without the children?
The plan is the spouse will travel/ joined the main applicant in the uk, while the children will apply and join the parent in another month.
This just to settle down, sought things out and acclimatized with the environment before bringing the children(3kids) in.

This is the reality and consequence of our leadership choice as a country.leadership should be about the people and what is best for them which is a contrary opinion in our own country.leadership and government policies are biased,partisan and selfish.our policies and actions are based on attacking and punishing predecessors, opposition parties and business competitors at the expense of the poor citizens.

Unfortunately, banning okada would solve little or nothing without addressing the root cause of the problem.why would commuters preferred Yellow bus (Danfo) to BRT?why would I preferred to take bike if there is reliable,safer and fast alternatives?the simple answers is that okada, despite it high risk is proving fast solution to the needs of the commuters which is a fast means of getting to your destination.

Interestingly, my suspicion is that this okada policy is a deliberate war on okada E-hailing business in Lagos state.it is more of political interest ,selfishness and Vedanta and of little or no interest of the citizen which could due to this reasons;

1.there was an unconfirmed information that one of the popular Ehailing company is owned by Governor Ambode the immediate past governor of Lagos state.if this is true,it is just a way of getting back at him

2.Ehailing okada do not pay money to "agbero" the thugs and miscrant which serves as tax and revenue collector for the governments.the implication of the bumming Ehailing ride is that the income of the thugs is dwindling as well as the quota of revenue they would pay to the government .

In conclusion,if our leaders would be fair and honest to themselves and addressed the root cause of Lagos problem by providing better and reliable alternatives.all the security and safety concern would have naturally addressed itself and okada and yellow buses business would have die a natural death.it should be noted that no country can n be librated by playing this kind of hide and seek politics.

recently,a family were granted visa .the husband is a contractor while the wife worked in osun state with half salary payment by osun state government.
they had to take loan and borrow before they travelled.
my surprise is that the husband was asked for his monthly income and numbers of staff.the info he gave was not verified and they were granted the visa.
note they used agent for the processing and it is the first time for the family.the wife had tried several country alone with no result.
