Yesterday I had to visit somewhere and it was raining so I did not want to drive there since I was not too familiar with the road, so I parked my car somewhere close and used a keke (tricycle).

While I was there I got a call from a long time friend reminding me of my promise to her husband over a job, so I quickly told her my location, and asked her to tell her husband to meet me up ASAP since I will be leaving town soon.

I told her to tell her husband to meet me up where I parked my car since that place was a popular land mark .

I don’t know her husband and we have never met before.

As I sent her the address, she called me back and was so excited that I was even around her area which will make it easy for him because he did not even have transport to come out, things was that bad.

So I told her that he should pick a drop and I will pay.

In other not to keep him stranded I had to start rushing back to where I packed my car.

God, I even entered under the rain, cold, just to meet up with him so he will not be stranded.

As I was walking under the rain I saw a keke and stopped it.

The keke man asked me to beg the man inside so he will allow me join him since I was drenched, so I started begging.

The man refused and said I was wet and I told him I will sit to one side, and he refused, saying except I pay for both his fare and mine.

I agreed, then he allowed me but as I entered this man kept me uncomfortable, saying if my wet clothes touch him again I will get down.

I just kept my cool until I finally got to my destination.

I did not even reach when I stopped at the junction and paid then used my legs to walk to my car, since it was very close.

I was inside my car warming myself, then I got a call from my friend saying her husband was around, so I described my car and he came.

I saw someone knocked on my car glass, wound down and it was this same man in a keke with me. Gosh!

I was supposed to pay the keke man, and recommend him for a job?

Tears rolled down my eyes, I brought out N3,000, gave him, started my car and zoomed off.

My friend has been calling and sending me messages, I had to block her.

Rumours and false accusations are two things that has become a part of my life. Like always! Always!
I have heard rumors of me being a thief. I have heard rumors of me being gay. Heard rumors and has been accused of having an evil spirit and being demon-possessed. Of recent, my neighbor's wife even accused me of wanting to break her marriage, all because I staked a bet with her husband, that if he could successfully woo and get this new girl in our block, I would gift him 10k.

All these rumors and accusations don't shake me though. I see them most times as prophecies. Even if I haven't stolen in my life, I cannot tell what the case will be tomorrow, after all, the only thing holding the sun and the moon is time. I simply wave off that nonsense and see them as words of fools and jobless idiots.

But this recent rumor, which I see as a total witch-hunt, is aimed at giving my destiny helpers a "too-much" positive impression about me. This might make them see me as their destiny helper instead, and that is why I didn't take it, dear diary.

So because I came back last week with a fairly used, and fairly stolen laptop, which I bought 12,320 from a Yoruba vendor in one of the computer villages around, changed my slippers, managed to carve my hair, and shared a packet of milcose for the kids in my compound, news started flying around that I am now a big boy.

There is nothing I haven't heard, dear diary, these few days.

If you wait until they rope you, you can be sentenced to death or life imprisonment by a wicked Judge that they could also rope against you. Maybe you did not hear news of last month where judge sentence somebody to death not for killing someone. But just for a robbery allegation. Who know maybe the victim was just roped by someone.

-You can go to the police but be ready to settle them.

-You can relocate or move out from there for a few months so case can die down (out of sight, out of mind). Also ur best option

There's this Lady I use to have an affair with in my compound, before me. She was with this guy in my compound who had a wife. This guy use to say she's just a family friend but people in the house and the area knows they both have something in common. To cut long story short, this lady is a runs mama because she's at her 40's. Something happened between these guy and my Landlord because of this Lady which resulted to my Landlord chasing the guy out of the house. Now the lady is leaving with my Landlord and she has suicide in chasing out all of my Landlord children so she can stand as the landlady, which is what my Landlord calls her now. Thou, before she started leaving with my Landlord. I have already ended what's between us and each time she see's me she seeks attention which I don't give her. Now she has been saying to people in the area that she is going to rope me and that is what she is doing, the people she's making this plans with are complying and they are turning it to be a tribal thing. Recently she told someone In the area that I'm a yahoo boy, I have always been a business man where I sale cosmetic, this same Lady has come to my shop times without number to lend money which I don't collect back. Very unfortunately, I lost my shop during covid-19. By the ending of 2021 I started working in a beverage company which I give her every of our product. Sorry, I'm trying to cut the story short so you can see from where I need your help and advice. Now this lady has a boy friend who happens to be my customer when I was at my shop and she brings this guy to the house and my Landlord allows her and the guy to stay as long as they want, the other time I had the lady calling and telling the guy about her plans to rope me. Later that week the guy came and they where planning to call one of their friend who they said was a police man so he can carry out their plans. Later she called the guy again telling him that I'm an (HS) which seems they are into secret cult. Just today I had the guy telling the lady that they will open a Facebook account with my name and picture where they will be posting about me saying I'm a yahoo boy, that way they can cast me and the roping will be easy. A friend has advised that I go and report them at the police station, because every body in my area now talks about me according to what she had already told them about me (yahoo boy) This guy knows most of the officers as the station because we all live in the same community and some of them hang out to drink at evenings. My life is at risk because she has reported me to some cult boys in my area which she often brags that if those guys catches me, they will handle me with dangerous weapon. At this point I don't really know what to do I really need your help and advise.
