Ofcus they wouldn't ask for it again because i have already given it to them and it has been registered on their system.
The arguement here is can they auto detect it?

Take note of this, during Glo BB registration, they wouldn't ask* you for anything. Its just Via a simple Text

@mobinga, i disagree, When i was registering for my BB service for the 1st time. The zain c.care rep asked for my BB IMEI number, why didn't he just look it up on the system. . .

The level of technology use by Service Providers in the country is Low. Thats what am trying to point out.

I am sure MTN South Africa cc would be able to detect Everytime a SIM is changed and inserted into a new phone.

That should only concern GSM users abroad not here in 9ja. Who the hell cares about the former owner(s) and what they did with the phone, as long as the thing is working perfectly, its marketable. Thats what an igbo man will tell you. Lol

But if they can, Then why do they always ask for our Phone Make and Model

aieromon:
Get my point, the system will recognise the OS of the phone after running compatibility checks but not the exact model. They still need the model details from you.
You are saying Partial Detection* We are saying Total OR Non.
