pu7pl3: Griezmann is miles better than Dembele and he is not a poacher That's when people have comprehension problems. An eediot who thinks he knows it all but only knows too little. I said "close to being a poacher" Griezman is best at one-touch football and finishing, Dembele can keep the ball and take on multiple of players. That's the difference between them and it's a Dembele kind of player we need now. That's what i said mumu. |

The few times that Dembele has played this season he was like Messi on the left side of attack, Taking on defenders in twos and threes. That's the kind of player we need now, not a poacher. Someone that can draw defences and give Messi some space sometimes. Griezman is very close to being a poacher. That's why he goes missing a lot of times. |

I think we all agree that Ihedioha did not lose.
Honestly I think that in today's Nigeria it is practically impossible for APC to defeat PDP in any of the 5 South Eastern States; Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo.
We all know this!
What happened was that PDP put in a very awful and terrible defence of their mandate at the tribunal and the appeal court. They did not defend a very salient issue and that was the deathblow at the SP.
They realised this at the Supreme Court level and they expected the Supreme Court to correct their legal fuccckkk ups for them. The expected the SP to make a sentimental and politically correct judgment. You do not realise your mistake at Supreme Court level and then expect them to pity you and help you.
But like the Supreme Court has said time and time again, they are not Father Chrismas. |

nihilistjnr: You asked me if Ororo would continue to shine in England
Nobody else has won WPOTY whilr playing in England...ever
If he can do this, and then show you it wasn't a fluke by winning it again severally while playing in Spain, and theb came second whilst playing in Italy, then of course he has proven he can do it anywhere.
Messi will never leave Barcelona, but continues to flop when he plays for another team.
They are not mates Nobody said it was a fluke. Same way no one ever score 91 goals in Spain or anywhere. Ronaldo came to Spain and scored what? 60? Messi would win Ballon dor playing in England. But that's clutching on straws and talking about what might be. He has 6 Ronaldo has 5, nor be mates. They both played in Spain where Messi won best la liga player 7 times Ronaldo won 1. Messi scored 73 goals a season Ronaldo scored 60. Messi has 23 Assists in a season, Ronaldo got What? 15? Messi won 3 Golden Balls playing for Argentina, I wonder how one does that flopping for his country. Ronaldo should give glory to Eder and Bernado every Sunday. |

So yes, he would be this successful maybe even more, playing for the biggest club in the most popular league in the world Incorrect. I tell you what. If he remained at Man U, With Scholes, Rooney, Tevez, Giggs, Carrick, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic and Sir Alex all gone he will have 1 UCL, 3 League titles, 1 ballon dor, And nothing more than a cuter and more refined Nani. |

nihilistjnr: Ronaldo is the only player to ever win WPOTY whilst playing in England. Nobody had done it before. Nobody has done it after.
He went to Spain and did it there too. He is out of his comfort zone and remains balling.
Meanwhile, real Argentines from Buenos Aries, want to collect that their passport from him and replace with Gabonese Passport Even if he won WPOTY in Mars. He still hasn't got 6. A WPOTY won in England isn't superioir to one won in Spain or Italy, except for Ronaldo fan boys. If Portugal had 2 FIFA World Cups in their history, a section of Portuguese fans would have burnt down his house already for failing as the star man to even take them to Quarter Finals. They just don't have 2 World Cups and so a miserly Euros Cup feels like 10 World Cups to them. |

Ororo left Portugal at the age of 18 and has been living abroad for 17 years.
The national language in Spain and Argentina is Spanish
Messi left Spain at the age of 13 and has been living abroad for 21 whooping years, 15 of which as a citizen.
Ororo has no other passport. He goes to any other hood, without tucking his chain in.
Messi can never leave the safety of Barcelona. Would your Ororo be this successful as he is today if he remained with Manchester United till today? Answer me this. |

nihilistjnr: Messi has been a Spanish citizen for 15 years (since 2005)
He only lived in Argentina for 13 years.
Spain is his home. They don't know him in Rosario. That doesn't matter. Going by your explanation any country should become a comfort zone for any player after 2 years. He spent about 5 years at United so he had at least 3 comfort years there. He spent about 8 years at Madrid so he had at least 6 comfort years there. So which one be Comfort or Deborah zone for this matter again? |

Barcelona is his comfort Zone. Bottom line is that Messi remaining at Barca for 15 years has been a bigger and more difficult challenge than Ronaldo jumping from Manchester United to Real Madrid and then to Juventus. He did not go from Manchester United to Getafe and to Verona FFS. Everyone knows that Ronaldo won't be half as successful as he is if he had remained with Manchester United from 2004 to 2020. That's the difficulty. |

Madrid money is flexing hoes money. He doesn't need a payrise to stay.
Ororo did what Messi will never do...leave his comfort zone and try to prove himself in a new environment. Can't say that I blame him either...see how well he did with Argentina Messi's comfort zone is Argentina. Argentina is in South America in case you missed it. He left South America to Europe. He left his comfort zone to go to a different continent entirely. Ronaldo has been in Europe all his life, failing to leave his comfort zone. He knows most clubs won't give him that. Ronaldo left almighty Madrid to Juve.. That's legendary All the big clubs I named like AC Milan, Man U, Chelsea and Madrid all had the finances to buy big stars as well. Ability to purchase big stars isn't what prevents club down times. hopefulLandlord: He's the highest paid player in the world, also your club pays him a lot under the table via "donations" to a nonfunctional Lionel Messi Foundation, earns 100% of his image rights, had his tax fraud written off by the club, he has more power than anyone in Barcelona at the moment. so much power that I remember when a board member criticised the idea of handing Lionel Messi a new contract when he had 4 years left on his present (at the time) contract only for that person to be fired the next day. Don't make it sound like he's making some huge sacrifice by staying with one of the most successful and richest club in the world where he's treated like he were a literal god. it's way easier to stay. also UEFAlona have never been "useless" at any time during Messi's peak, the only time they were useless was during Rijkaard's last two years and Messi was not this good then as he was under the shadow of Ronaldinho...... Peak That's my point. Messi's peak helped keep Barca at the top. The difference now is that when he lost his peak he did not run to another club which had in-form and good players; he remained and that's why I said he must be idolized for this. Other players I know, once they are no longer at peak and their clubs are down, they run away. |

nihilistjnr: Ronaldo scored several important knockout goals on the way to the final, including 2 equalisers against Hungary, and a semifinal goal against Wales.
He would surely have scored a hattrick against France if that fat thug from the banliues of Marseille did not assault him greviously on the pitch.
Ronaldo walked so that Eder could fly. His president is black and his lambo is green.
Messi meanwhile has not scored a knockout goal for his country in SEVEN competitions
That's why Portugal named an airport after their national hero, while the Real Argentines in Buenos Aires think Messi is a fake Togolese, like Adebayor Now let us have a very quick look at Ronaldo's history with Portugal in important games. Let's restrict ourselves to direct medal winning matches. *Euro 2004 final; Ronaldo plays, Portugal loses. *Confederations Cup Semi final 2018; Ronaldo plays Portugal loses. *Euro 2016 final; Ronaldo misses Portugal wins the Gold Trophy. *Confederations Cup 3rd place; Ronaldo misses Portugal wins the 3rd place Bronze Medal. Ronaldo has got a good PR team but let's not believe the hype; Ronaldo has not done anything extra ordinary for Portugal. Portugal's biggest game in it's history was France at Euro 2016 and they beat France at home without him.. From available records, Portugal would have lost to France if Ronaldo stayed on that pitch beyond 20 minutes. With his club career he's been great, big big props to him. But as far as Portugal goes he s only a media creation, he's a F.R.A.U.D. Fact! |

festacman: Although the Justices of Supreme Court have powers to award cost to punish appellants when necessary, imposing those hefty amounts against Afe Babalola and Wole Olanipekun was unnecessary humiliation. They could have throwned out the review request without denigrating the some of the finest members of the Bar who have made so much contribution to the legal profession.
In as much as giving in to judgement review requests by selfish and inconsiderate politicians would ultimately bastardize the image of the apex court but insisting that the institution can NEVER review its judgement even in the face of new strong evidence is simply judicial dictatorship. The implication of this ruling is that an innocent man on death row can still be executed once Supreme Court upholds his conviction even if a new incontrovertible evidence emerges. It is a poor attempt by fallible human beings to play God. The thought of this is scary. Am not sure the Supreme Court would not reverse itself in such cases as death and wrongful imprisonment. Let's divulge these from political issues abeg.. A man on death row could never be likened to the ambition of a Nigerian politician who will end up looting the treasury. Be sure that is new evidence emerged on a man on death row, the SC would reverse it's decision. |
