Politics › Re: Kano APC Tells El Rufai To Create A New Emirate For Sanusi In Kaduna by ddippset(m): 7:25am On Mar 17, 2020 |
omenka: Here's my take on this whole issue. It is totally confusing what these guys are scheming, that is, if they indeed have an end game to the whole drama.
I feel regardless of the rift that might exist between Ganduje and Sanusi, he couldn't take such a far reaching and decisive action against the Emir without getting the nod of Aso Rock. The seat of the Emir is too important to superstructure of the Northen Oligarchy. Its reach transcends Kano as a state hence cannot be tampered with unilaterally by the state governor - notwithstanding what Abubakar Rimi said in that video.
That said, the confusing part is the role being played by El Rufai. I mean, it is totally confusing! Recall, if one were to mention a governor as Buhari's closest confidant, that would be Rufai. One would assume anyone condemned by Buhari would be damaged goods to Rufai and he wouldn't touch such a person with a hundred foot pole, let alone hug and hobnob with them!.
Rufai can't deliberately choose to piss on and keep pissing on the president's shoes. And if the president has no problem with him coming to the aid of Sanusi, then why would he give the nod for Sanusi to be dismembered in the first place!!??
It therefore means there is a part of this scheme (IF IT IS A SCHEME) which we have no idea about.
My thoughts... Surely Buhari sanctioned the action of Ganduje. Surely! But I think there is very genuine friendship between El Rufai and Sanusi. And I think that the attitude and disposition of Buhari is very well known to Nigerians for the past 5 years. Buhari personally, is not one who expects or demands loyalty from anyone. Buhari does not care about his friend's friend or his friend's enemy or his enemy's enemy. Buhari comes across as a man who only cares about himself. That's why he's not a good politicians. I wouldn't be surprised that Buhari deals with Sanusi the way he wants to but still couldn't care less how his friends like El Rufai deal with Sanusi. |

oz4real83: u are deceiving yourself. It is the norm that the governor of every state holds the party structure but Oshiomole wants it otherwise in Edo state all because Tinubu did the same in Lagos state. If Yahaya Bello deserved 2nd term despite obvious failure, then Obaseki deserves second term far more than Yahaya Bello, oshiomhole is using different yardstick for everybody which is wrong. Norm? What stupiid norm? The norm should be waved when another man holds your hand, picks and dusts you up from nowhere, campaigns for you, dances at rallies for you, speaks for you at rallies, while you look on like a buffoon with no iorta of political value. So after Oshiomole handpickng Obaseki and making him Governor you want Obaseki to control party structure? Am sorry but if you are a governor and you want to control party structure be your own man from the very beginning. P.S. Good thing; that docile APC party leader in the form of Buhari has decided to act. |

Now that he’s been beating to his game on the 2023 presidency, he’s now wailing like a child whose biscuit was taken.
Anyways, Tinubu should have known better that either an Ekiti or Ondo man will never bow to a tiny god. It has never happened before and it will never happen. Tinubu should continue to Lord over Lagos and his Osun State. Beaten to his game? Lol. Why not be patient and wait to see what the courts will rule on Oshimole? Nigeria is just a country of hypocrites. Attacking Tinubu for supporting Oshiomole. Which politician who has a presidential ambition would sit by and watch a legally installed party chairman who is his ally removed? Show me that politician! |

I never buhari collected something so for you to point out that part where it was stated that both OBJ and GEJ collected is baseless. If you are smart enough you would have asked yourself who stole the cash that both OBJ and GEJ collect since your Buhari claimed no one stole. Think very well before you rush in mentioning, thanks Based on the article, it is better to talk about the monies collected by Obj, Gej and Buhari and what they did with them; than talk about whatever Buhari said about Abacha. Your comment was a completely misplaced priority. |

Bola Tinubu is actually a very intelligent man.
The only thing I see standing in his way to becoming President is the fact that he's a Yoruba Muslim.
Muslim/Muslim ticket cannot work in today's Nigeria; and he needs a core Northerner, particularly from any of the KKK states as a running mate.
If he was a Yoruba Christian he would have a very good chance to become President. |

Paperwhite: First of all, Buhari the head of the govt told a bewildered nation that "Abacha never stole a dime" while same is shamelessly retrieving endless loot of the Abacha regime stashed up in foreign countries without any iota of accountability.
Nothing new in a government that promised a new order of change but ends up bastardizing every aspect of our national life including the legalisation of corruption. The bolded is very very very far from the point right now. This is not something to play politics with. The point is that several monies of Abacha's loot have been recovered from by Obasanjo, Jonathan and Buhari. Where are the monies? |
