Let's assume you used the airline in the past and they promised you that your luggage would be brought to you by another airplane within 48 hours..

You had very urgent need for the stuff in your bags but 48 hours turned one or two weeks and you didn't see your bag (this is a very common experience in this country).

Now the same thing happens again.
You are told to travel without your luggage and promised to get it to you within 24 hours.

What will you do?

You claim the lady made other international travellers to miss their flights... So these international travellers would have travelled without their luggages ? Remember you claimed their luggages will be brought with another flight..
This lady in question must have booked her ticket and probably had her luggage within allowed limits as stated on her flight ticket .. but it seems when it was time to board, you prevented her from doing so with her luggage probably because you provided a smaller plane unable to pickup the Luggages of all travellers accommodated onboard...
Who is really to be blamed for such incompetence and irresponsibility?
And the writer stated that this traveller has had such nasty experience with same airline earlier... Who is monitoring the local airlines to prevent such nonchalant attitude in the first place...? Obviously it's same NCAA ..
Why does such incompetence not happen on international reputable airlines ..?
It's time our local airlines grow up and know they are rendering a service paid for by travellers..

I am sure two things were responsible for the lady's behaviour, her guts to do what she did.

1. Her luggage was within limits, it had to go with her but probably the luggage was excluded.
We are in this country, we know how incompetent and ridiculous corrupt our system could be.

2. The lady's past experiences. Most likely she had experienced such in the past where they promised to bring her luggage within 24 hours but maybe she waited one week she no see her stuff.
Like I said, this is Naija, the system is bleeped up.

This is a country where something that they promised you would take 1 day ends up taking 1 month.
Bank will seize your money and you will wait for months without seeing it.


The airline is at fault for this 1 million percent.

They lady know wetin she don experience before for her to have acted like that.

As usual people don't relate with such things until they experience it firsthand.

For me, if someone borrows money and fails to pay,,
Give him 50 percent equivalent time.

For instance if the loan is for 1 year, give him a grace of 6 months.

If the loan is 6 months, give him extra 3 months.

If they still fail to pay after the extra time grace,
disgrace and arrest then in every way possible.
