Something went wrong somewhere. Either u did something out of place or ur previous record or misunderatanding with the previous agents have come to hunt u. Getting into University of canberra is pretty easy conpared to other schools in oz i have cone across . the only question i will ask is WHERE U AWARE OF A GTE FORM WHEN U APPLIED?? Does guys no be mumu u probably did something without knowing it seems.

. I didn't fill any GTE form. But I remember the they school called me time asking me if I applied to another school, and I told them USQ. But if you followed my post I had applied to with BCIE. Whom asked me for bank statements( i brought my brother's he said it was a business acct) I told him to withdraw the app.

When apply to UC without an agent do you fill a genuine entrant form for those who didn't use an agent? Because in my case I didn't fill it and I wasn't asked to... So am wondering why they assessed me without a GTE? And made all those decision. Even after asking me to send them my offer declaration so my COE can be prossessed? Am totally confused.

I initially applied to USQ and they never responded... I used the online application and they wrote sumtin like defer decision. Since then they haven't made any decision. Or an offer. Before UC gave me a place. And I applied for international business.

I from their email I don't even know if I should mail the school and explain I didn't include my GTE form in the application. because as it is now, I will have to wait till June. Please what do I do?

This evening I just got an email from UC saying that my application has been rejected that I didn't fufill the GTE criterion here is what they sent to me and I realised I didn't fill the GTE form at all. I didn't because UC didn't ask me. Am shocked.



Your application to the University of Canberra has been assessed in accordance with Ministerial Direction 53<http://www.immi.gov.au/gateways/agents/pdf/direction-53-assessing-gte.pdf> and the University’s Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirements.

Under Ministerial Direction 53, the genuine temporary entrant criterion for Student visa applications requires the Minister to be satisfied that the applicant intends genuinely to stay in Australia temporarily, in regard to:
(i) the applicant’s circumstances; and
(ii) the applicant’s immigration history; and
(iii) if the applicant is a minor — the intentions of a parent, legal guardian or spouse of the applicant; and
(iv) any other relevant matter

The University of Canberra has conducted an in depth assessment of the student in light of the above and in respect to the information provided upon application. In this regard we wish to advise you that you do not satisfy the University’s GTE guidelines. Consequently your application to the University of Canberra has been withdrawn. We will not be progressing with an offer in this instance or at any time in the future.

bro I don't know this is my first time to experience such...and they can like to put someone on hold. The line can exhaust money before they even get to finish telling you their story for the gods. Na oluwa I dey look now, my rosary is my weapon now.everything has been going smoothly o, na COE come wan be the matter now

It is better to call them directly (even if you applied through an agent). That's exactly what my homeboi did few months ago (yea, same UC). 1 week is too long for a CoE mehn.

i have called them severally they said the will look into it, up till now no mail o. Am freaking out.

Nna pls leave all this people that don't know how much fuel dey cost for streets of Nigeria. My wahala is why is UC taking too long to issue my COE it's almost a week now?!!!

How long does it take to issue out a COE, I tot it was 3 working days... Does UC take that long to process COE?

VFS has the document. They will give it to you to tick and sign. If they forget to give it to you, request for it.

thanks a lot bro. Secondly is birth certificate compulsory to provide as I don't have any currently with me? I also thought they have a special SVP checklist. Though the for looks generalised for all level assessment and all visa type.

Please can someone send photo copies to the embassy?like photocopied WAEC transcript ? And what are the necessary mistakes to avoid wen applying to DIAC? Please someone answer?

Please for students : is dollar DIBP fee still $USD532.VFS still 35k and medical at fatayi Williams 45,500k. Please somebody confirm this firgures. Plus do we still pay in dollars at VFS? because I made inquiry for dollars at they are selling 208 as at 189 equivalent on XE. It's too much o! If there are new changes let me knw because I want to front load.

here's a lil view of mine for my fellow migrants, Canberra is like Abuja where you find all they civil servants going to work it's not so fast paced, Sydney is like Lagos where things happen to some extent, Melbourne like Lagos is awesome cos its like a very multicultural environment so you will always feel at home, Perth is kinda good but far away, i don't really know much about Perth but businesses close early there dky!, these places i have been there so from my lil experience. i Study at uni. of Canberra, i will respond to any question when i can, Good-luck in all your endeavors

when u log in with western union ... they now provide you with a bank account you will pay it into.the bank account will depend on the currency you are paying too.

meaning the bank account has to be in dollars, I already used telegraphic transfer with first bank and it worked. I want a bank account for telegraphic, first bank told me telegraphic is cheaper than master card, is this true. If not what I have in the account is naira.advice pls.

Adelaide is the least expensive of all the capital cities in Australia and they have a number of great Unis, it is good place to live and Study. Jobwise, it may not have the same reputation as Sydney, Melbourne or Perth but I believe you will always get something to make your time worthwhile there but you will have to undergo some form of training.
