I had my eyes on the Z3 earlier in the year for 2 reasons: bigger screen estate and better battery. But hey, I can't get away from the snappy Z10 processor and LCD display. Simply fits me.

I had to go out for an android phone with decent battery and bigger screen (howbeit poor display) to play tag-along with my Z10

Sorry about your phone. I'm afraid you may need to get a new unit. There is a probability the panel and maybe your touchscreen is compromised.

Its not my experience with Z10...Blackberry still uses its data compression. BBOS and BB10 might be different platforms but they breeze through the same servers via out local networks. I'm certain you have an app (probably an android) that is a data-hog. Download a suitable data manager from BBW or any andriod store and you'll fish the culprit out.

IMO, 3GB is probably the most suitable data size for the BB10. Note that the Glo Comonth plan we use for the BB10 platform was originally made for a BBOS platform...and some people exhuast that before the end of the month on a BBOS phone...

Download NAVFREE in BBW. When you launch it, search for the Current 2014 Open street map for Nigeria and download it. You're good to go

It's advisable to delete and re-add the email account. But if that doesn't work, you may need to check you email settings within your Yahoo mail page to know if it's enabled...

Take a good look at the pictures again there supposed to be a BlackBerry written down near the edge of the screen and it's not there. Look at the first picture it has 2 network symbol and look at the notification light it's on and white in colour. Pls don't tell me it's launcher. That is not a Z10

I thought I was the only one who saw the 2 network signals. The photographer come bend the phone small make we no see the 2 signals...LOL. Smartass

But you can download BBVE (Blackberry Virtual Expert) on BBWorld and do a test on the Camera. Also try to calibrate it. Lets see how that goes.

Besides, why would anyone need to skin the BB10 OS with a launcher, eh? I think the buyer would have been better off if you advice him to tell seller to remove the android skin and take another shot of the Z10 running pure BB10 OS. Or are you the seller ni?

There appears to be nothing wrong with your phone and your update looks OK. I suspect its your mobile network just as others have suggested here. It seems you don't have an active data subscription or your network is having APN conflicts with BBWorld. I have seen a similar issue with users of Airtel and it was back up much later. So be patient, and keep rebooting the phone once in a while till it comes back up. No reboot too much in a day sha...LOL

P.S: I personally have a strong dislike fro Airtel data/BIS network...yuucck!

Go to "Phone". When there, scroll down from the top of the phone screen to reveal "Settings", choose that. Under settings, you will find "show my number", choose that then deactivate it.

Post screenshots of the messages you get when you try to access BB World.

About your emails, simply delete the account you have and add it afresh like new.

By the way, I am curious, this update you refer to is it an official update or a leak?

The LED of BB10 phones don't blink for a while when the battery has totally run down and are flat.

The LED is supposed to blink with an orange hue when its switched off and charging. It will stay at a steady green light when it is full. After you charge it, does it display a full battery? How long does the full battery last? Have you tried another battery to see if this is the same thing?
