NCAA is a highly professional agency that's y they pay higher than faan. So its easier to pick 248 out of 300 because most people applying are already qualified and up to the task for the job. There won't be much chaffs among the wheat in the recruitment process. Correct me if am wrong

Use facts before u jump...... If u check the shortlisting for PFT alone u will know it will.... Most of the states with Airports of any kind got more applicants than those without....... Go through ur list before u argue this......

If faan recruitment exercise aims at employing just 750 candidates, then it negates everything common sense stands for.

By the way, if anyone gives you an update on the recruitment, try to juxtapose it with the unfolding sequence of events from the application till date.

720,000 application was screened (ab initio), Over 36,000 was invited to take the CBT, and around 4000+ was targeted for interview. So you were told by a "staff" they needed just 750? Lol!

Truth be told, It doesn't just add up..... It negates commonsense......... Even chevron won't do that. If that's the case in faan, then it's weird.

for security needed if at least 30 security are nedded in d airport for a particular shift n we have 3 shifts dats makes 90 for each airport multiply by @list 22 airports u see dats just for security ohhh hw can some1 say dey need just 750 for the whole nigeria, with the international standard, i tink dats just only for d 4 international airport we have in nigeria. So 2 refere to the data by faan, 4390 was targeted for interview but only 3000+ show up, how on earth will 750 will be taken from 4000 at interview level Atlist more than half the number will be needed, except all the apllicants are numskulls... Which can never b possible... So i bliv faan need more hands, coz the DG himself said they are shortfall of about 900 firemen. But dat of security i dont knw, the whole house knows dat more security will be needed.
As for the person askin abt NIS number, it is 2000 they need but 45 person already got their express appointment letter, they are families to the victims of aborted process, that left 1955 vacant post for NIS.

Abi ooooo..... That was why I told the person earlier to go back to his source and ask them well.......

Even the DG said they need about 1500 firemen alone and I will put my money for security to have more....... The mathematics from the DG and the information from there site gives serious hope to applicant..... The matter be say they need enough hands.

If I got this information from a third party I won't type it in here...... These I said, I had it right from the center from my Faan officials whom I lodged together with in Chritchel hotel... I choose not talk cos we all don't know who and who is on this thread and I only said this cos of the guy who dropped that hint of the numbers to be taken just to correct him........... Hands are needed and it was made clear if not MOST of us in here would have been dropped during the PFT................. If the PFT had been done in the right way... We wouldn't have survived it that way......

I was told that Enugu center was expecting 1500+ for Pft and that 750 is just what was needed from Enugu alone and told us we should strive and reach the interview stage and be smart with our answers which they said were just formalities but all points gathered from pft till that interview stage will be used to judge us....


Above all the 750 is what they needed and if by ur points which Is similar with his that means 750 it is then.....

This is actually what we sat down and discuss and trust me height will take people down..... Am not here to tickle anybody or pass information to make anybody happy but these are facts and were handed down to me......

Each centers will submits 750 final names of those to make it...

4centers x 750 = 3000 and the total targeted after Pft was 3000+ and after the pft as at on Monday 18 march they had 3700 interviewed across the 4centers which they expected to rise up to 4000 but sorry they never got that 4000 and above all....... 3000 will go thru and they will definitely come from Security and Fire as the majority.....

its always good to be realistic in as much as we all want to be on that list but how can u say faan needs750 from each zone. The questioned to ask is what is the combined strength of faan, what are the budgetary provision. Even if faan recruits 750 only it will go down as one of the highest numbers recruited in its history in a single year. 750 x4 is over 3000. Even MTN has only 6000 core employed in Nigeria. What you should be praying for is your name to be on that list.

When he ( ) told me initially I looked at the posibilities and I couldn't find it and I will still say to u that it will certainly not up to that but I put it to u that each center were to produce that number. Ask me I never argue with the official cos at the moment most of the people to be recruited will definitely come from the junior staff from my thinking...... Whatever decision they wanna go with no problem... Let us keep our finger cross and watch them do what they know how to do and how they gonna do it....


Right from that center..... I was personally told its 750 that will go through from enugu center...... How possible is that I don't know........ I stayed in the same hotel with most of these Faan official and we all dine together and drank together all thru the night and the result of the PFT passed thru us in that hotel and trust me u won't wanna know what happen in compiling those Pft results to the intervies level....... Trust me u don't wanna know.


But the 750? I can't explain that is the truth but 100% crystal that they want that number from Enugu.

My friend I served with at Lagos now works in faan. I asked him to call his mom also a top staff in faan, she was part of the interview committee . His mother said that the list has been compiled and sent to the ministry for input from the minister. Most faan staff don't know about the appointment letter so don't put to much faith in what people are saying. I pray everything will be concluded before May 13 since that is the last day the president will sign any memo. She earlier said faan were looking to recruit 750 candidates out of the 3700+ candidates that were interviewed.

Sorry they Need 750 from each zone .... E.g 750 from Enugu center, 750 from Lagos center and so on, I can categorically tell u that enugu after all of the processes from Pft to d end.. Applicant did not show up for pft until the third day and as at the third day enugu center hasn't recorded up to the number of those that should report for the pft and those that reported, not all survived the pft as some of u will attest to that cos am a living witness even 3 of my friends did not make it to d interview only two of us did. Faan targeted 1500+ applicant for the pft in Enugu but some did not show up and those that did..( )... So what they should tell u is that 750 is what they need from each center cos that is what I was rightly informed by ( )...... Please don't ask me who... If u wanna doubt it go ahead, but u should not rather go back to where u get ur information and get it well....

if u get to the interview stage and u are able to

1. Talk well and not beat around

2. You are up to the required height

3. You convinced them even if u answer is mad.

4. You dressed well.

5. You present a good CV

6. You walk well and u are straight

7. You received a mssg after ur pft (successful mssg) not corner mssg.

8. Your doctor reports were confirmed and found accurate.

9. If you did not get the after schedule mssg for pft but got the schedule own

Trust me u are good to go.... But if u fall short, sorry.

Some1 we did d interview together called the anchor man and asked few questions. The guy asked about ow he got his name and later told him that those info concerning cancellation are fake. He asked about his number I mean d log in no and the position he applied for. He gave him the info and guy after a while told him well done and confirm his detail. He couldn't ask further cos the guy is d type that talk much. I tried calling him too but didn't pick up. All I can say is that the apl is intact and litu tins may be responsible for d delay. I am hopeful that as many that has been favoured by God to take ds job will surely have it no matter d situation. Let's sustain our faith and hope.

Well said bro. Even a security man or a cleaner in FAAN dat is not privy to this recruitment is a staff. Fake info keep flying everyday. What I know is dat the recruitment is on course, as at last week, they were doing documentation for the successful candidate.

Funny enough Ibro2star's information just confirmed what I already thought.

Ofcourse govt officials will be frustrated with the FAAN recruitment process, because many of them can't help their candidates since it is a free and fair process. We can imagine someone telling Ibro2star that he will not rest until he helps him, even though he knows the guy doesn't have a test score sef.

They will continue being frustrated, but they can't taint the process.

The information I got is that not many people in FAAN have access to list. Only a select few do an have seen it. That is why all our contacts keep telling us to pray, because they don't know for certain themselves.

But know this, the list is complete and ready. I hear this from a top FAAN man in Lagos. Nothing like cancellation at all. The only thing is that this top shot himself couldn't access the list, because it is protected seriously against tampering. He was only able to inform me that 2 people were selected from Plateau state for SO II. An he got that info because he is from plateau and wanted to check for his person, I guess, then he asked me to pray.

So I smiled and thanked him.

I checked the list for plateau an realised only 8ppl were selected for PFT. So I am guessing not all participated, then again maybe not all mae it past PFT and then again, maybe the few that did didn't perform well in the interview.

So you see house, there hope. The list will not be tainted. I know some topshots will try, but they won't succeed. Maybe that is why they want to delay till May 28, so that all these worrying politicians can leave office and leave them to do the normal thing.

Let us all be hopeful and prayerful. Let those who can reach the numbers keep trying. Make we shake small for concrete info from FAAN na
