A question from a friend........What is the faith of an applicant who did the cbt (passed), pft (passed), and interview (Passed). But in the course of the final stage (accreditation), she was told that the text (call-up sms for pft and interview) she received from FAAN was CLONED!. Thus, she was bursted out of the academy!.............IS THERE HOPE FOR HER?

I don't even understand this faan people self. I was called for faan physical fitness test on 17th. And I did my PFT on 18 in Lagos. Since then, they have never called anybody for interview. Please what is the excess of sending messages to us on the 17th when they know they have already have their required candidate. Is there any hope for us who have not yet been interviewed? Am confused

pass first and wait for confirmation and instructions for medical and mind you theirs is different from faan cos they will run it for you....

at least as a security officer, cadet officer and fire officers you need to undergo good training especially the security officer need to be trained on how to take slaps from female passenger in case you mistakenly in d process of searching u found urself searching their pant and finger her accidentally..... a slap will come from DT.... so u need training,...

If Enugu center did u bad, then perhaps u got a scam msg truely for the interview and it is not FAAN's fault. i had my process in enugu on the 11th of march, and i can say that the process was smooth and credible becos every body dat came there initially had thier names shortlisted and the crowd was not much and nobody was embarrased.
we were told that only those successfull with the pft would be contacted for interview. i got the interview invite and the next day all those that didnt get text were maybe not interviewed cos i left as soon as i finished mine while those that didnt get text msges were still trying to find a way around..
And it was understandable.
iT was during the massive turn out that problems started. and if u read faans website they said if u have been shortlisted and havent gone for interview, do so at the closest venue to u.
They later even allowed those that were not shortlisted to undergo the process as long as they scored above 70.(as i heard)
That move is justifiable if u read from thier site on how they select.
So just like every process, every body cant be satisfied. i Failed the first home test for the Nigerian Brewery sales executive role, a job i have always longed for and even prefere to FAAN, but i put the blame on myself cos pple passed, and the successful ones wrote another exam in lagos and some passed and some failed, the driving test eliminated some pple, so did the interview and now they are doing medicals(which might still eliminate some pple).
This one(FAAN) i havent gotten but atleast i have successfully reached an extent. i move on when one door closes.
No matter what, FAAN cant employ every body that applied.
The little flaws of the process are fate's way of eliminating and getting the final few just like natural disasters and death, and sickness etc. are nature's way of taking away one generation while the following takes over ( wether we like it or not).
Let us learn to move on as vacancies will keep arising and arising and lets stick to the small or other job we got doin till somtin better comes.

The problem of Jonathan and maybe by extension Osita Chidoka, is bad company. Though we may have noble intents , but when we surround ourselves with the wrong people, our visions are compromised and jeopardised. Chidoka has let himself down by the personnel he chose to assist him handle the recruitment.

There so many questions to be asked here.

1. Is the FRSC now an extension of FAAN? Is the Minister using his
powers as an ex-marshall to impose FRSC men on FAAN recruitment
process? At present I'm confused which organization we actually intend to work for. Please he should be asked what road business has got to do with Aviation.

2. The pass mark for the test was clearly stated as 50% how come the
FRSC officers ordered candidates who scored less than 70% to leave.

In summary, this recruitment process has been anything but
transparent, its indeed the worst of its kind in recent time. It has been
marred by so many pitfalls and doesn't show any form of transparency from the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan led administration. I just can't believe that in 2015 Nigerian graduates were thrown out of a
recruitment exercise without regard by uniformed FRSC officers.

Faan do not have a definite camp to do this so back to question if u take note in Lagos they used custom training ground and the çustoms helped in overseeing the exercise and in Kaduna it was the SSS who did over there and in Enugu the FRSC helped. Mr u see stop asking such questions again biko.

lastly I remembered I clearly told you not to go since ur name is not on their list cos u won't like what will come out of it..... but u ignored it and now you are everywhere questioning people..... bros there is nothing you and me can do about this than to let go... the best is on the way.

what happened in this faan recruitment is highly embarrasing,they intentional did this to add more pains to battared nigerians unemployed youths.for me i received the so called sms by 7:36PM on tuesday 16/03/2015 to go to my nearest centre for my faan pft.iam staying at Illela local govt.of sokoto state,Illela is 100km from sokoto town but 5km to niger republic.Though i was not prepared but immediately i got the sms,i swing into actions to arrange myself, i was fortunate my goods friends helped me to move that night(1.30 am) i heed to kaduna which is the nearest centre to me.to ensured that i arrived as early as possible,i had to charted car only me from sokoto to kaduna because of lack of passengers and i want to meet up but to my suprised when i reached the gate, after i was bombarded with questions by the sss officers at the gate i was asked to leave because they officers had gone back on wednesday, i was nearly broke down because the loss to me is too much.now my boss we deduct the days i was not present at work,deduct 2days pay from #5000 which i been paid as nce holder and i had to pay the one i borrowed from my friends.plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss,faan you had to reshedule another time for us that received the sms to show your opennewnss ,transperence which you had been saying from the beginnig of this exercise..

hw many piple ar employing per state. because my frnd dat earlier failed pft on 14th was invited to com on 16th reason being dat my state delta didnt complete d numb of taget candidates datz was why she n odas in dis same category was reinvited despite being dsqaulifyd. hope dey take evrybody dat made it to final. my fellows hw many slot per state is alloted for dis faan job

pondering on that anyway.... in Delta state 26 were shortlisted for security cadets.... probably some will drop from d physical training while I know the interview was just formalities.... if u can talk to them well in d interview u are good to go..... if u are short and I mean ur height then u are definitely out of it.... am sure they will take up to 20 from each states.... my guess

I must be frank with u my brother... if its private company you must have experience even if its not directly close to d job u applied for but must be close a little and personally I got invitations when I never had any before... this time around they all want experience but with God you may be lucky..... just don't give up.

I applied for Aerodrome Fire Superintendent cadre and I strived to score 60% in da aptitude test despite the fact that I have gotten area of specialization. To my greatest surprise, my state (OGUN)was wiped off from da rolled out list for physical test and interview. Now, to make da plot to be smoothed, FAAN claimed to have updated this cadre by fabricating one name for my state! To be on da safe side, I didn't apply for this cadre with my M.Sc but FAAN gave me a waterloo which degenerated to dilemma. Why should 1:1 and 2:1 be competing wit 2:2, 3rd class, pass, respectively? Why studying hard in School when preference has been thrown to da gods. As it stands now in Nigeria, certificates grades are now things for the gods. An individual can just go to da university and do RUBBISH in course work, project, thesis, dissertation and still graduate and also competing in da world of work. WHERE IS NIGERIA HEADING?! Right now, I have deferred my Ph.D admission so I can explore da world of work judiciously since certificates and grades are USELESS! Today, Education is not Success at all, it is only Platform that is da priority! OHO! Sometimes, destiny torments and someone does not have choice than to resign to fate! Thus, mine has tormented me again!
