Then why is it that you can not or do not want your own nation state?

The reason I made this thread is to expose you Igbo liars to my ND people never to go into any alliance with you judases as you are only interested in replicating a small Nigeria with your biafra.

And let me also sound the warning that when the ND starts their own struggle to leave Nigeria we will not tolerate you Igbos fighting to prevent our escape.

Judas
You created states in other geo-political zones and added neighboring Igbos to add up to that state and you want those residing only in the five state to go and leave their brothers you annexed to others states with you? You must be dreaming.

Your reasons are lame, return all Igbo people you annexed to South-South and Northern Nigeria and see if they won't leave.

For your info, nobody stops you from fighting for your freedom, that oil you think only you have is in Anambra, Abia and Imo today, so be guided.

Go to Ebonyi and see how Umahi is using debt that can only be repaid with federal allocation to construct roads.

There is nothing Ebonyi can use to repay the loans so far taken .

This is the same scenario in all Igbo states and to a large extent in some Yoruba states.

This is what I term unity in debt .

Igbos can not survive on their own.

Call for a referendum today in Igbo land towards the creation of an independent Igbo nation within the 5 contiguous Igbo states and see how the Igbos will vote against leaving Nigeria

It is no secret that after liberating the minority regions annexed by Igbos in their biafra exploit, same Igbos lost faith in their own capacity to remain a nation and that Igbos within biafra did all they could to sabotage their own war effort towards getting to be reintegrated back to Nigeria .

This is a fact that Rabbi Kanustein refuses to acknowledge and tell his Igbo supremacist thugs and followers.
Referendum is what they have been asking for, so call for that referendum but before that bring all the Igbos you added to Benue, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Delta Kogi among others, they can't resort to living their brothers you added to other states to whittle down their influence.

Or you think they will leave their brothers in other states for you?

Look, we know how you Igbos have been in opposition to see to any return to true fiscal federalism since 1999.

And I know your Biafran dreams remains a pipe dream without the Niger Delta.

I can bet my life that once the Niger Delta begins a struggle to leave Nigeria you Igbos will be at the forefront fighting against this .

To you Igbos , it is either one Nigeria or Biafra with annexed ND.

Why can you Igbos not fight for your own Igbo nation?

What joins the ND with Igbo land is the same alien tape that Lugard used to bind the north with the south.

Fight for your own Igbo nation or commit to true federalism.
Bro stop fooling yourself, those people are already blessed, even in this shithole they are better than other Nigerians, safe for federal infrastructures in the region.

Ask them this simple question and you will see the fallacy of Biafra unfold.

Fact remains that the Igbo can not survive either under true federalism or as an independent Igbo nation.

It is for these two reasons they are both one Nigerianists under a powerful centrist govt or a Biafran state with annexed territory far removed from the present 5 Igbo states.

We must not forget that the reasons for both the Igbo coup of Jan 15 was to avert the creation of the Calabar-Ogoja-Rivers region out of the old Eastern republic.

When Gowon created states and delianated the Igbo regions from that of the so-called minority parts of the Eastern regions, Igbos demanded to a return to regionalism even though they all supported Ironsi's unification decree 34 that saw to an end of regional governance.

When Gowon refused to bulge, the Igbos decided on their own to leave Nigeria dragging the minority regions with them.

So you see, Igbos will either support the status quo to continue or a return to their foolish annexation ploy in the form of Biafraism.

Do not be fooled. Igbos will never support restructuring and will violently oppose nigeria's breakup when it is obvious they will be left to their own design.
Have you gotten the restructuring you seek?

A peace deal was reached at Aburi, Ghana, before the declaration of the war, what were the components? You think you can twist history?

PoliticsFG Declares War On Unknown Gunmen In S-east, S-south, Ignores Northern Bandits by deantimes(op): 7:28am On May 12, 2021
The federal government has declared war on unknown gunmen annihilating security agencies in the South-East and South-South geo-political zones.

It also refused to adopt the same measures for bandits terrorising citizens and kidnapping school children in Northern Nigeria in exchange for ransom.

While an Islamic cleric continues his campaign, pressuring the government to grant amnesty to the criminals, a former secretary at the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Usman Yusuf, said bandits ought not be killed but be provided for.

The government says it will not accede to demands seeking amnesty for bandits attacking and killing civilians and has refused to unleash its military might against them.

There have been increased attacks on security facilities and personnel in the former eastern region. The attacks, TODAY POLITICS learnt, increased after the formation of Eastern Security Network (ESN), the militia arm of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), late last year.

Addressing online publishers during a meeting on Tuesday Mr Mohammed said the President Muhammadu Buhari administration will crush the criminals in the Southern part of the country while their counterparts in the North continue to be at large.

“Soldiers, as well as the police, customs, and other security agents, have been killed and maimed in some parts of the country in this growing trend of targeting security forces,” the minister said. “I want to say unequivocally that any attack on our security men and women is an attack on the state and a declaration of war against the nation. It follows, therefore, that this will be countered with overwhelming force.

“When those whose responsibility it is to protect us are themselves being subjected to mindless attacks, it can only be for one reason. To instil fear and evoke a sense of pervasive insecurity among the people.

“Whether known or unknown gunmen, those engaging in this dastardly act will pay dearly for their actions,” Mohammed added.

PoliticsBREAKING: Police Bar Officers From Excorting Vips To South-east, Rivers State by deantimes(op): 5:43pm On May 11, 2021
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has reportedly barred its personnel from escorting very important persons (VIP) in the South-East geo-political zone.

A police signal dated “101054/05/2021” and with reference number 0900/DTS/DOPS/VOL47/812, according to The Whistler, conveyed the directive.

Coming from the Commissioner of Police (DOPS), Asaba, Delta State Command, the wireless message said the directive followed attacks on policemen by alleged members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its the Eastern Security Network (ESN) paramilitary wing.

There have been increased attacks on security facilities and personnel in the former eastern region lately.

“Sequel to the incessant attacks on policemen/snatching of arms and ammunition by the proscribed IPOB/ESN elements in the eastern states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States and Rivers State, COMPOL DOPS directs you warn personnel that escorts of their principals to the six (6) eastern states is suspended forthwith until security situation improves. Ensure strict compliance please,” it reads.

The acting spokesperson of the state command, DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed validity of the wireless message, but noted that it was not meant for the press.

“Firstly, the message that was sent out is not for press, so I don’t know how it got to you,” Mr Bright said. “Secondly, it is for policemen attached to VIPS not to escort their men to any part of the eastern state. That is the directive.”

Frank Mba, police spokesperson, was not available for comments wether this was one of the new security measures approved by President Muhammadu Buhari after a security meeting with security chiefs at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.

PoliticsBREAKING: Gunmen Storm Aso Rock, Ransack Buhari’s Chief Of Staff Residence by deantimes(op): 9:18pm On May 10, 2021
Gunmen have reportedly stormed the nation’s seat of power, ransacking the residence of Ibrahim Gambari, the chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Peoples Gazette, the armed men also touched the residence of Abubakar Maikano, an admin officer, in the Sunday raid.

The incident it was learnt has forced the two presidential aides to abscond from their place of abode to seek refuge at a yet-to-be ascertained destination.

The Chief of Staff residence is said to be close to where Mr Buhari resides.

“Their houses were robbed and the robbers packed money and other valuable assets from both houses,” the medium quoted a source in the know.

“The robbers took away as much as possible from both places,” another source, a security officer, corroborated. “What is more unfortunate is that no one has been arrested.”

Mr Gambari and presidential spokesmen, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu did not return calls seeking comments over the invasion when contacted.

PoliticsPresent Your Grievances And Give Me 6 Months To Address Them, Umahi Tells IPOB by deantimes(op): 1:35pm On May 09, 2021
Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has counseled the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) to stop agitations and present their grievances and continue same if he fails to address the perceived injustice within six months.

Mr Umahi, who chairs the South-East governors forum and presided over the proscription of the secessionist group in 2017, made the plea on Saturday in Abakaliki during the conclusion of the 8-day prayer and fasting session organised by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ebonyi State Chapter, over the security situation in the state.

Since it was proscribed, the group has been calling on authorities, particularly the state governors to rescind their proscription because they are not terrorists as tagged.

The governors who paid deaf ears to their plea were in 2019 prohibited from from travelling abroad. Umahi in response said the separatists lacked the temerity to attack him abroad.

This was after members of the group abroad assaulted, Ike Ekweremadu, a federal lawmaker from Enugu State in Germany over rising insecurity in the Igbo predominantly area.

TODAY POLITICS observed that since IPOB launched its security outfit codenamed Eastern Security Network (ESN) in December last year, to tackle violent herdsmen residing in forests reserves across the former Eastern region, political and religious leaders from the geo-political zone who were against them have been mindful of their comments thereafter.

A popular cleric recently blessed Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the secessionist group being tried on treasonable felony, describing him as his spiritual son.

Addressing the audience during the gathering, the Ebonyi helmsman said he does not believe in the disintegration of the country, even though secessionist groups have genuine grievances, as recently asserted to by his Abia colleague, Okezie Ikpeazu.

“I want Igbos to submit these agitations and I would lead the governors and leaders of the zone to the centre to address these grievances,” Mr Umahi pledged. “The groups can then do what they like if after six months, we fail to address these grievances.”

Mr Umahi also said he does not believe in a country where citizens are not treated squarely.

“I do not believe in second-class citizenship where a section of the country is being seen to be superior to others,” he said. “We are all created by God and no one should talk of disintegrating the country.”

Ejike Mbaka, the Catholic cleric who was earlier declared missing earlier on Wednesday has revealed those behind his ordeal.

Mr Mbaka made headlines recently after asking for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari over worsening state of insecurity nationwide.

His demand generated mixed reactions while the presidency said he turned against the president because he was not given government contracts.

He was last seen on Tuesday after being summoned by the Bishop of Enugu Catholic Diocese, Calistus Onaga. Faithfuls of his Adoration Ministry on Wednesday staged a massive protest demanding the whereabouts of the priest.

The protesters stormed the Bishop residence in the Independent layout in the state, destroying landed properties in the premises. Their actions, according to Mbaka who said he was been detained by Bishop Onaga, facilitated his immediate release from where he was detained.

The priest of the Adoration Ministry, while addressing his supporters after his release, said he was detained by the Church authorities who told him he will be kept incommunicado for a month.

He said his support for Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) led to his detention.

He had blessed Mr Kanu while attacking the Buhari regime, saying the fugitive is his spiritual son who is courageous enough to speak against injustice meted out to the people of South-East region.

PoliticsMbaka Berates Security Agencies For Killing ESN Commander Ikonso by deantimes(op): 5:13pm On Apr 29, 2021
Ejike Mbaka has berated security agencies that killed Ikonso, commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Mr Ikonso was killed on Saturday by forces comprising the military, police and the self-styled Department of State Services (DSS).

While the security agencies claimed they invaded the headquarters of the ESN and killed the deceased, the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) which owns the security outfit says the late commander was ambushed and murdered in cold blood.

The secessionist group yesterday renamed some infrastructures in the state after the slain warlord.

Mbaka who had earlier warned President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Hope Uzodinma of extrajudicially killing members of IPOB berated security agencies, asking it to deploy same measures in tackling woes befalling the nation.

“The military, the police, the SSS, how is it difficult for you to arrest one person?,” the Catholic cleric who spoke during a programme at his Adoration Ministry in Enugu asked. “What of the person you killed is innocent of what he is accused of?”

“You killed Ikonso, you are parading his body all over as if you have done whatever…,go and kill poverty for us, kill unemployment for us, kill insecurity for us. You know how to kill, wicked people,” he added.

PoliticsStop Killing IPOB Members Extrajudicially, Mbaka Warns Buhari, Uzodinma by deantimes(op): 4:34pm On Apr 29, 2021
Catholic cleric Ejike Mbaka has warned the Buhari regime against extrajudicially killing of members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).

Mr Mbaka a staunch supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari gave the warning in a recent video clip circulating on social media.

He extended the warning to Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, saying the governor has deviated from his promise to protect the people of the state.

The cleric who has now called for the impeachment of the Nigerian leader who he said is now incompetent particularly on insecurity said he will not fold his arms and watch members of the seccessionist group demanding the actualization of the defunct Biafra Republic being killed unjustly.

He also indicted the government which he alleged as the arrowheads on insecurity, particularly in the South-East region.

“The job of the government is to be killing people, calling them terrorists instead of giving them jobs,” Mbaka alleged. “People should go to farms, they should farm, farm, farm, after farming herdsmen will go and eat the crops and herdsmen will not be branded terrorists.

“If the government will not sit up and do what they should do, begin to roll out the money they parked for 2023, that 2023 may not come. It will be a story of tragedy.

“How can our children be killed?…just listen you will hear about killing. Nobody is safe again in this country. As far as I am concerned I will not support terrorism neither will I allow you to brand our children terrorists when they are not.

“If some people broke the prison in Owerri, arrest them, interrogate them. So for people (security agencies) to go around and kill our young men without trying them is evil.

“How you just open your mouth, like Hope Uzodinma is doing in Imo State. Somebody who came here and put his hand on this alter and swore he will protect the lives of Imolites is now organizing the killing of the same Imolites and he wants me to keep quiet? Mbaka queried.

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) says a new commander for the Eastern Security Network (ESN) has emerged.

The security arm of the secessionist group lost its top commander popularly known as Ikonso Saturday morning.

But a day after Mr Ikonso, who was reportedly ambushed and murdered in cold blood, passed away, his successor has emerged, according to Emma Powerful, spokesman of IPOB.

Mr Powerful made this known while granting a telephone interview to Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

“Another commander has taken over,” he told the anchor of the programme, refusing to name Ikonso’s successor.

Meanwhile, Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister says the Nigerian government made the greatest mistake by killing the deceased warlord, saying IPOB might tow the same part like Boko Haram terrorists who went berserk when its founder, Mohammed Yusuf, was killed.

The killing of Ikonso, a commander of Eastern Security Network (ESN) is eliciting reactions across Nigeria.

While the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has described his death as painful, the secessionist group said he was killed after refusing mouth watering offers form state actors to compromise.

The secessionist group said Ikonso was ambushed contrary to the narrative that security agencies raided the hideout of the armed militia.

On social media, his death has triggered mixed reactions, with many describing it as a mistake, an opinion Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister agrees with.

Mr Fani-Kayode while reacting on Sunday in a tweet cited a similar situation that radicalized Boko Haram terrorists who took up arms against the state when its founder, Mohammed Yusuf, was killed.

The former minister who described as unfortunate the killing of the deceased warlord said it is the greatest mistake the Nigerian government has made after killing Mr Yusuf.

“The biggest mistake that the Nigerian state has made since the killing of Mohammed Yusuf, the erstwhile leader of Boko Haram, is the killing of Ikonso the IPOB & ESN Commander a few days ago,” the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain said. “This single act has radicalised IPOB & will have consequences. It is sad & unfortunate.”
