This people self. You think being afraid of war means it will not come if it is destined to happen? All these rhetoric are nothing but cowardice and it won't help us. As things stand now in Nigeria, it is either the South stands tall and say enough is enough, even if it means war or forever accept slavery. The choice is all ours.
It is not South but SW, go and become the slave you brought upon yourself and don't include SS and SE in your madness.

It's very annoying that the northern leaders appear to pay deaf ears to the burning issues that led to the ban of open grazing in the south. They're just concerned about their parochial northern interests without considering the plight of southerners.

Cost of staple food has skyrocketed in the south while famine looms as people's farmlands have been taken over by the herders! What do they want us to dohuh Fold our arms and die of hungerhuh Or perhaps their plan is to create more markets for northern farmers by destroying southern farms with the help of the herdsmenhuh So they can sell foodstuff to us at exorbitant prices?

There are many northerners residing and doing other legitimate businesses in the south and nobody is preventing them. However, the herdsmen are too problematic and deadly, hence they should leave our lands!
So what were you thinking when you betrayed SS, that they won't be consequences?

You brought it upon yourself so stop complaining. Afterall you elected and re-elected them but now resort to crying now that you have seen the hand writing on the wall that your presidential ambition has been thwarted. So stop crying. Pele grin

Shut up, why can't you make your point without including Igbos?

When you betrayed SS in 2015 for Buhari what where you then? Non-greedy?

Which Southern Nigeria? Better say SW because SS and SE will not join your madness.

Stop threatening Northerners, they were your lovers in 2015 and 2019 or what has changed? Because you have realized the 2023 Presidency promised you have hit brick wall? That's the result of betrayal.

What do you mean by delivering him from the North? Are talking about the demise of Yaradua? If you must know, it is an Igbo woman who blew the alarm, so hide your head in shame.

Southerners want restructuring the country because a northern is in power.

When a southern gets power in 2023, they will keep shut and start supporting.

Who organized a confab? A southern president, why didn't he implement the recommendations of the confab when he was in power??

The so called boycott of the election is a pipe dream, if southerners boycott the election then the northern will do similar boycott in another election leading to another choas
Tell them, besides why are they calling for election boycott now? It's because their presidential ambition is threatened now they want SS and SE to join their rubbish move, forgetting how they betrayed SS in 2015.

Take for instance when fugitive Nnamdi Kanu called for election boycott, didn't they mock him? Now they want to tow the line of his suggestion.

For we in the SS and probably SE, there will be no election boycott, it's either the SS complete their tenure or North continues. tongue tongue tongue

If you want to know how sincere they are about Southern unity, tell them to clamour for an Igbo Presidency in 2023 and see the real devil in them so they are not sincere, they want to hoodwink the SS and SE into their dream and when they promise them 2023 presidency they will dump the unity project.

Una no dey shame? Shout up and down about not trusting Yorubas yet you're all over their land like white on rice breeding, trading, existing and raising your future generation.

Yorubas are not interested in union with anyone because recent events has shown most Yorubas that it is the rest of Nigeria that needs us and not the other way round. We certainly would not want ingrates in our land after break up or restructuring.

It is just annoying when you refugee people who have nothing at all to offer the Yorubas come here saying garbage about us. Igboho already told Kanu and IPOB he is not interested in any union or partnership with them.

Yorubas in general will say same to people like you and the OP. "One Nigeria" is a drain on the SW and the Yorubas and we now demand, minimally, full restructuring so we have control of our own security, socio-economic prosperity, general progress, identity and direction.
You must be stup.id, where does the op hail from?

If Yorubas are not interested in alliance why clamour for Southern unity? Or it is now that recent event have shown you something? In 2015 everything was working fine right?

Boycotting election means NO election in any polling booth anywhere in the South. Nobody comes out.

By the way, your analysis is too tame. Why are you afraid? Are you from the North and deeply bothered about the suggested boycott? Look, if SW, SE and SS boycott election, it is either the North comes to the dialogue table and we all kiss Nigeria good bye.
Speak for the SW we in SS and SE will participate, you can't frustrate our turn to deal with you the way you all did in 2015 by betraying us.

To become a president of Nigeria, a candidate must receive a majority of the vote and over 25% of the vote in at least 24 of the 36 states i.e 2/3. The number of states in SS, SW and SE are 17. This means that, in the event of Election boycott, whoever contests the presidential election will NEVER meet the key constitutional requirement as only 19 states are remaining to participate.

Look, we must perish wimpy thoughts and step up like equal stakeholders in Nigerian project. If the whole Southern Nigeria rejects an election and its product, that product can NOT impose himself on the South. Dey never born the person.
