Thanks a ton! customstreet: 1. Get your right circular 2. Approach your broker with it. Fill it together with verification form and this will be sent to Registrar 3. After verification, it will be returned to your broker for trading on the floor 4. NGX then create a trading platform where the right will be traded. There is no price range. You buy and sell at any demanding and supplying market price 5. The base right price is determined by juxtaposing the market price and right price against right units and existing units 6. After trading on the floor, your right trading price will be paid to your account after removing charges 7. Thereafter, your broker send the list of all the right traded to the exchange for noting and exchange approval 8. Then your right circular which had earlier been verified by the registrar, noted and stamped by the exchange would then be officially sent back to the Registrar
I have done right trading on CHAMPION BREWERIES, NEIMETH PLC AND UNILEVER PLC right issue in the past |

emmanuelewumi: The right is not necessary, it is a strategy by Otedola and current insiders to consolidate their holdings and ward off Otudeko.
Tony used similar strategy to consolidate his holdings in Africa Prudential Registrar and United Capital.
Most shareholders won't take their rights, Otedola and others will buy the right.
I see Otudeko fighting back by willing to buy the right at a premium from shareholders. Do you mind sharing more color on how shareholders can exercise their rights? How will this work in practice. |

Someone I know has a B1/B2 USA visa that would expire in April 2016. She didn't get to use the visa during it's validity, but planning on a trip later in September 2016. Last time she traveled to US was in 2013 on an older visa which expired in 2015. She did drop-box for the subsequent and current visa.
She wants to re-apply via drop-box for a new visa in April 2016 and has a concern that her not using the prior visa might pose some issues with the consular officer.
Is this concern valid? |

Thanks a lot folks for all the responses. I am pretty much in the same boat with ifechukwukamso and what he said makes a lot of sense to me which was how I had rationalized the situation.
The WES evaluation clearly stated on the document that a bachelors degree was a requirement for the masters which was evaluated and coupled with that, I also made sure to include notarized copies of my bachelors degree in my application. |

Hello people!
Can someone kindly confirm if one is required to do a WES evaluation for all attained degrees or for the most recent that is integral to the application? I sent a request for evaluation of 2 degrees to WES (Bachelors and Masters), but WES ended up evaluation only the Masters once they had received the transcript for that.
Any thoughts on this? |

yettidear: Hi y'all,
I have been following this thread carefully from the beginning and I thank God for the great contributors here. You guys really helped me with alot of info. I was rejected last yr at the BHC due to the tax doc i submitted with my application -pls check full story on the General Uk enquiries thread.I thought that was the end of the world, but today 9 months later i have my US visa. I was skeptical of using the same passport in order to avoid issues, but i trusted God and went ahead. It was all God!!!
My advice to ppl out there is that when you are rejected at an embassy it's not the end world. God might just be preparing you for the best like He did for me.
I would like to thank ppl like Akolawole,FunkyBaby, kadman, presjany, shawamma,Ojewole, others and even vikoviko who rose to help me out of the tax clearance mess. Congrats oh. I am happy for you after going through what you did last year. Is it a student visa you got? Did you go through an agent? |

samdams: Hello to Every one on here , I am just a new member i register cause i have my own side of the story on this Visa problem and i think i will get help on here , Here is my story and i will need help on this, Sometime last year i applied for a Visiting Visa in the UK, I was denied cause i have insuficient funds in my account , So i lost interest in going there but now i have a great interest to study in the UK.Before the Points Based System was introduced I applied as a student , Which i know that i put the necassary documents required cause i made alot of reserch from the internet before going to submit , Then i was refused again this time the reason is that i didnt Show relationship between me and my sponsor cause my inlaw was the one sponsoring me,they also told me i didnt state that i was once a worker in a company which i applied last yr as a visitor , Then the last reason was i didnt put my Original WAEC CERTIFICATE,(I didnt put that cause i went to the waec office and they told me is not ready yet is after 3 yrs of finishing your secondary scholl before you will be able to get the Original certificate from them .) and i have paid for the whole 3 yrs fee and also paid 2 months of my accomodation fee, and they told me i have the right of appeal which i dont want to . So i gather all the docs they ask from me , I went to my working place to get a Notifacation letter addressed to the Embassy and also went to Waec office to explain to them and they gave me a Confirmation of Result to give the Embassy and l also get enough evidence to show that my sponsor is my inlaw .Then submit the application again , After about 1 month 2 weeks i was asked to come over to get my Application on getting there i was refused and this time here is the reason, VISA LETTER 30 POINTS CLAIMED BUT THEY TOLD ME I DONT HAVE THAT . In view of the fact that the letter you have submitted from South London College Does Not Contain the Mandatory information as specified in the guidiance you have not been awarded any points for the Visa Letter .You therefore do not meet the requirements to be granted entry clearance under Tier 4 General Student and i refused your application under Paragraph 245zv b of the Immigration Rules MAINTENANCE 10 POINTS CLAIMED BUT THEY TOLD ME THAT I DONT HAVE THAT WHICH I DONT UNDERSTAND . You have Claimed 10 Points for funds under Appendix C of the Immigration Rules and you state that you are being financially sponsored by your brother in law,Cary Wilger. How Ever as Tier 4 (General)Student you are required to show that you personally hold the required level of funds. The Documents you have Provided do not Demonstarte that you are personelly in Possession of the required levels of funds.I am therefore not Satified that you have achieved 10 points under the paragraphs 10 to 13 of Appendix C and meet the requirements to be granted entry clearance under Tier 4 (General)Student) I therefore refused your application under Paragraph 245ZV (c)of the Immigration Rules. , I am tired and dont know what to do now . I need an advice on this please , help me on this , i emailed my school and told them to change the date of my course to July .So do you all think i should on this, ? Have you verified if the school has been accredited to issue visa letters? because not all schools visa letter is eligible for the 30points required. I advice you go seek help from a professional of which i recommend GEC at saka tinubu, victoria island, or you also try david abion at elephant house alausa. |

No problems, lemme start preparing the css compression stuff, that one seem to be more easier. . . Like you rightly mentioned, i dont think anyone may have tried compressing javascript or css files on their website because most people would see it as irrelevant. But if i may ask, cant the script be used to compress other file extensions? Also would the compressed version function properly? |

I mentioned much earlier that that guy called Ccomputers had scam written all over him, as observed from his "All Caps Post" which is peculiar to scammers. People should be very much wary of his likes, especially the lady "Joan" who i think is considering doing business with him. |

@MJ2008, Akolawale, I didn't quite follow the story of yettidear's appeal denial, but am i correct to think that her visa trouble emanated from a false tax clearance document. From akolawale's last post, he stated that he foresaw a denial of her appeal - my actual question is what do you think went wrong in yettidear's case? A cousin of mine actually has a similar case, he got refused a uk visa twice reason being that he unknowingly submitted a false tax clearance of his uncle's company - he was served a 10year ban on second refusal, and he proceeded with an appeal on the grounds that he was not aware of the authenticity of the document.
Can anyone advice on this issue, what the chances of his appeal being allowed? |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Much Does The CBN Pay? by dearstan(m): 8:58pm On Apr 27, 2009 |
@Poster: Well the pay depends on the level you are. For the level of a senior supervisor (level 8, 9, 10), i think the basic salary hovers around 80k, while that of an assistant manager (level 7) is around the range of 90k -100k. Though those amounts are not that mouth watering, you get to enjoy lots of other financial benefits in the endless list of allowances like lunch, security, domestic, transport, course training, duty tour e.t.c
In all, it is a good place to work, with little stress. The thing is you just have to cope with the cut-throat corporate politics being played in the bank - you have to learn a lot about being diplomatic. |

I placed an order 5days ago for a router and 2wireless usb's, and likewise deposited the required amount into buyright's zenith bank account. For 5days now i have been wasting money on calls all in a bid to get my order delivered. At the moment i smell fraud because the last person i spoke with on phone some minutes ago insulted me and refused to disclose their location to prevent me from coming. However, on visiting the website again buyright.biz, i discovered it is unavailable, and also transmits virus. I am highly disappointed and regret ever having anything to do with buyright.
This is a warning to everybody to be extremely careful. |
