This OP is an unstable character so, I will never take them serious.. A southerner was the president, but it's you his brothers that destroyed his administration with all sorts of malicious and hate-filled propaganda and the north who were already drowning politically latched on that and snatched power back to the North. Now they've got the power, they are all out to ensure that what happened before never repeats itself..

They are consolidating their hold on power by empowering the north economically (At the detriment of South of course) by :

1) Establishing NEDC but unlike NDDC which was funded from what comes out from ND, but the NEDC will be funded by 3% VAT for the next 10 years (which will be extended to another 10 years), and it's a common knowledge that 95% of VAT comes from South. A bill that was sponsored by a Lagos senator to keep 1% of VAT generated from Lagos, but we all knew what happened to the bill.

2) Huge amount of resources are being deployed in searching for oil in the north and any sane mind knows that they are preparing for future economic prosperity of the North because they are already aware of the inevitable that will happen very soon. I'm not against this, if I'm in their shoe, I will do the same especially when my rivals from South are always foolish to claim righteousness than the saint.

3) They are also empowering the north politically with the way we are seeing the gradually colonization of 70% government agencies by the North and this is still the first year of this administration and when it gets to 5th years of Northerners in power, we will know where we are.

The North are already in power and I urge my Igbo brothers not to use their hard earned money in fighting them, let us simply liaise with them to share the national cake and when it's finished, we all will go home.
