Micron stock buy, sell in one year. Memory is getting very pricey, it is the wooden handles of the when everyone digs for gold, make money from selling shovels. Perhaps Nvidia is the decently shaped metal shovel head.

Niggersians are bent on oil .
I wonder if NVIDIA still has room to run. It’s not like it will suddenly become a $10t and give 2x. Thinking of switching to Micron

What party has been in power for the last 12years? 👀👀
crownprince2017:
I think many people did not understand the root cause of our economic problems and the current state and why we are here.

Many just come here with all sort of economic theories and jargons that are not applicable to our clime while some don't even understand anything, just to come here and display their ignorance and even abuse people.

You can't make an objective submission if you have political sympathy for any candidates. Now I want to summarize the Niger problem in few lines.

In the last 16 years before this current government we have been battling with macro economic problems probably because many of you have no or limited opportunities to play at macro level or probably lack good knowledge of macro or just to pretend to be ignorant.

Our current issue comes from harsh realities that unfolds during the last administration that our macro is so bad that it doesn't have the strength to continue to package the micro that made everything seems right.
Shock absorbers are not longer sustainable.

The problem has been there since 16 years ago before this administration but there was no spark to flip it. Now this government have no options but to flip it and many continue to attribute the issue to them, that is unfair.

You can fix both macro and micro at the same time, one before another. I can tell you for free, if you go through to fix the macro first which is the ideal which in our case is structural then you have to be very patience to see visible result but because we are so used to short cuts in Nigeria, we expect magic over night, this mindset will only make us fall prey of politicians. They will tell u what u want to hear..

In my opinion, I think if we don't want this government in power, we deserve what others will do differently before deciding.

You can fault their strategies but they are never the one who got us here in fairness.

All this arguments will not safe you from the market bashing next week, all of una go still collect, especially the oadoans... grin grin

You dey argue with person when his (probably) current preferred candidate has no verifiable work record from anywhere and is a confirmed druggie. Someone whose wife would like us all to sell Akara. Better stop wasting your time.
Martartins:
So doctors should hold the state to ransom because of their incessant demands?
How about your druglord and cocaine sniffing president who has milked Lagos state war chest dry? Now his harlot wife wants us to fry akara as youth employment.

Go and verify Obi's record in Anambra health sector........Stellar

Same cannot be said about your white powder president who promised to solve our power problem or not contest the next election.....how far now?

A bedwetting president who told us to endure while him and cohorts continue to live extravagantly with tax payers money.

At least we know what we are getting from Peter Obi, prudent spending and reduction in public wastage.

What are you getting from Balablu that he has delivered?

When last did you listen to BAT speak? When last did he do an interview and tell you his Vision for the country?
Oasisblue:
Peter Obi is actually the most clueless among the array of leading candidates.

It is shocking to me that a region of Nigeria that has produced globally acclaimed intellectuals have no netter person than Obi to fly their flag. How anyone can listen to Obi speak and conclude this is the man I want for President baffles me.

DANGCEM already found support.....
I hope it's not broken.....
I think the director that sold at discount was the cause of its 10% fall on Wednesday or so.

ARADEL should find support on Monday, all things being equal
Been thinking of the possibility of HBM going private and wondering if not to accumulate DANGCEM at this prices since they will increase flairs and list on LSE. What’s the wisdom on the streets? 👀

There is a difference between 2023 and 2027. The truth is that Tinubu has raised the bar, and we are now talking about his second term. We have seen what he did and is doing in his first term, and honestly, we like quite a lot of it:

- Subsidy removal - Wonderful, except that this present govt nearly caused anarchy when GEJ did it 14 years ago.
- Liberalisation of forex - Good and long awaited
- Tax reform - Good and long awaited
- Capital market rebound (investor confidence) - Good and long awaited
- Nigeria rated B+ – two steps higher than 2023 - Doesn't make gar more affordable
- Seven banks rated B+ – two steps higher than 2023- Billionares getting richer. Doesn't make corn cheaper
- Companies making huge profits after paying staff well- Huge profits because of inflation because of subsidy removal and fiscal mismanagement by APC
- Airline issues resolution - Good and long awaited after mismanagement by the APC
- Oil and gas sector reforms (Shell's new $20 billion investment) - Decade of gas is technically a Buhari initiative but I'll give this to BAT
- NELFUND - Maybe reduce Seyi Tinubu and his Remi's convoy budget so everybody can go to school without debt?
- LG Autonomy
- Lagos–Sokoto Highway- Will you be able to drive on it without holding ransom money?
- Lagos–Calabar Highway - - Nigeri'a biggest infrastructure given to the president's friend without bidding
- MMIA reconstruction - - Good and long awaited
- Regional commissions in all geopolitical zones
- Electricity devolution and decentralisation bill - We pay more for electricity than America
- MREIF 20‑year mortgage scheme with single‑digit interest
- Power: estimated billing removal (more stable power in progress) - Lol, no
- State Police

While these big ticket items are good, nothing is more important as far as I'm concerned as security and the ability to eat. Moody's latest rating doesn't matter if you can't drive down sokoto highway without ten escorts and extra car to hold your ransom money. The average Nigerian life is worth less than it was ten years ago. Nobody can buy cow meat again because it's now a luxury. Able bodied office workers are begging for transport money on the road. There is a new institution called Baba Sope. EFCC goes after university students while Yahayo bello and his ilk are free.

ASI at 250k is nice until your village is wiped out by herdsmen and Tinubu stops at your city airport because he is busy and can't stay more than ten minutes.

Anyone who wants to ask him not to continue must be ready to tell us what they will do differently from what Tinubu is doing (and will hopefully continue). For example: Are you bringing subsidy back? Are you cancelling NELFUND or stopping the two highways? If you can't tell us, then don't come out.

I am sure we will see a landslide even greater than the Ekiti elections in the 2027 presidential election.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 5:58pm On Jun 25
I think when sentiments sour, or this rebalancing thing happens, it becomes a buyer's market. Buyers know the stuff is undervalued and are getting it for cheap while sellers are possibly locking in their gains to seek other opportunities (don't forget these are multibillionaires playing on a different level). Who wouldn't have paid 800 for Dangcem in this market?

Despite the weekly reds we are getting, I believe the key to wealth creation is accumulating at this point because soon all this red will become a funny memory. It happened in the US when Trump stated talking tarrif. Some ran away from the market while some of us bought up at historic lows. One year later, I look at my Nvidia/Google I bought for almost nothing and smile. They should not return the money to the market, the market needs more width. More people will join. Just take advantage of the red now before it becomes 'had I known'

yMcy56:
In addition, haven't we noticed the increase in Cross Deals in recent times?
If we say someone or an entity is selling, then who are the buyers?
Because there can't be sellers without buyers.......
Who are they crossing these humongous volumes to?

Someone crossed 40M units of DANGCEM in a single deal for instance, who was this crossed to and why?
Otedola keeps accumulating FBNH, why is he increasing his stakes here?
These are some of the questions begging for answers..
I think we shouldn't dwell on the selling part alone.....but also consider the buying part as well......

I even wish the DANGREFINE quantities available won't go round for them all, so they can return the monies to equity market...

Also, I am going to ignore the insane corruption inherent in the Minister of Works delivering the keynote address for his vendor, a company with which his ministry has a business relationship.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 10:52am On Jun 25
He is implying a general price reduction, not just for coastal road and the like.
mikeapollo:
What Umahi said does not make sense.
The FGN has the might and privilege to negotiate with cement producers, agree and and lockdown prices for supplies to specific contract specific, especially if they are willing to make deposits in advance.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 10:51am On Jun 25
It's election time. A govt desperate for good news will do and enforce anything so they can have things to announce by December. Umahi likes to believe he is some genius or chosen one for the next round simply because he paves road with concrete...don't underestimate the far reach of federal might.
yMcy56:
Why do people believe everything this people say on Social Media and Newspapers?
Has government done their part first?
Politicians that will just say what people wants to hear..
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by deathwing(m): 10:43am On Jun 25
There is a timeline to start negotiations on lowering cement prices from the majors, how could this affect HBM, Dangote and BUA?

That's not how it works. You have to care or else someone who does not have the wellbeing of nNigerians in mind will enter. Evil triumphs because good men do nothing. It is not enough to say ' I only care about the wellbeing of Nigerians ' because who support directly impacts that metric

They have too much cash in that business. And I think the Chinese want to extract as much as they can, so it’s good for us the minority shareholders. I shouted haaa when I heard what they’re planning to pay, I thought the capex would affect dividend.
