I have been talking to the school, they havent budged yet, but we are still pleading and putting pressure.

Please can anyone advice on how one can pick up a passport from TLS (even though I paid for Courier) I feel courier will take a few days, so I want to go to go and pick up from TLS myself and save some time.

anyone with a telephone number?

Congratulations! Inform your school immediately if you haven't done that already. Follow up with a phone call first thing tomorrow morning. Ensure you explain your situation in great detail.

In the meantime, check your email often and be ready to pick up your passport as soon as it is ready for pick up. Also, check for tickets and be ready to pay for one and travel.


Can someone

Push as much as you can with your school. They can be quite strict but God is able and He will come through for you.

The Nigerian representative said within two to three days. I don't know how true that is. Yeah, they request for POF before the issuance of CAS

Honestly, I believe it's too late to cancel. Perharps others can also advice.

If you are positive that 9 October is the last date, I advise you to cancel. You should get your IHS refund after some time. Once your visa is approved, getting them to cancel your visa and refund you may be trickier.

Please I need a little advice on what to do.

school has given till 9th October (next Monday) as final date for enrolment. The clearly stated that there will be no extension.

I have called, I have escalated by mail etc. Nothing positive yet.




Please what do I do?

Do i cancel and withdraw the application?

If I dont cancel, (and visa comes out but I am unable to travel) will I still be able to get a refund of IHS and Application fee? (because as it is, it is very very unlikely that I will make it).

I am asking this because I want to know if it is right for me to call them today or tomorrow. I did my bio on the 12th of September (standard),school resumed already and last date for resumption is next week Friday.At this point I am worried and don't know if it is right to call them yet.

We have a similar situation. I had my biometrics on the 14th. I have done several paid calls and mails but the response was always, it is been considered and awaiting decision. But yesterday 26th September they said decision have been made but I have not received any received mail from UKVI. The major issue now is that my school, Cardiff metropolitan University is saying I should be in Cardiff tomorrow 28th. Who know whether TLS works on public holidays.

Good evening all,please I have a question :my course end date is for example 4th January 2023and on my application form(already submitted) in the section "when will you leave this address I wrote 10th January 2023.Please,I want to ask is it save,I am quite very worried now.

Like I mentioned before my family went there via study route and I am applying to same school as my dad(he was the main applicant).Now,the school has sent me the following questions,and I think they asked me this because UKVI might ask me this as well.

What family ties do you have in your home country?

Do you own property in home country? (Answer to this is I don't own any properties except my parents own and I am their first child)

What are your post-study plans?

PLEASE,I NEED SUGGESTIONS ON HOW BEST TO ANSWER THIS QUESTIONS ESPECIALLY THE FIRST ONE SINCE MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY ARE THERE.THANKS VERY MUCH

You will need a TB test if you lived in Russia, if you are applying from there then do your TB there, if you are applying from Nigeria then do your TB in Nigeria

2.You should reprint your up to date bank statement

3. If the statement from the mortgage bank is a savings or current account and the bank is regulated by the CBN that should be fine

4.Please declare your family in the UK

The country is Russia and I meant bank statement.

And also may I ask,can a statement of account from a mortgage bank be accepted for visa application?

Can I declare my family are in the U.k,though they went there through study route,I want to be on the safe side since I read something related to not declaring if we have family members in the U.k who are not citizens
