Had to bring out something a lot of people constantly forget which you alluded to here , entrepreneurship/ having your own business as a catalyst for financial prosperity and freedom , yes be diversified into stocks , mutual funds , real estate , crypto , gold , whatever , but also keep paying attention to your personal hustle especially if you have a thriving or scalable business with decent margins , even if it’s a 9 to 5 job , pay attention to your career , that’s what brought the seed money to invest anyway , I personally can put funds to better use than most of the returns I get in stocks even after decades but I still invest regularly across board in some of this asset classes when I see opportunities

People always forget that stocks are also businesses run by others

Try to dey enjoy your wealth small small if not doing that already , balance is everything , I particularly learnt that lesson in 2009 / 2010 when we discovered a massive fraud in one of our enterprises after years of running lean and being frugal . Enjoy

I like that the qualification date and payment is all within 10days. Makes one wonder why some companies will use 3 months or more after qualification for dividend payment. Conoil and Bua are companies notorious for such. Like Pa Ema will say, money no de to pay na why dem extend payment date.

They have not started producing. There are only two wells in that block currently drilled with oil confirmed in one across several depths. They still need to drill more. That's according to the release.

BEP price here is 26naira. Dividend yield around 38% based on my BEP. Highest dividend spinner in my bag. Will definitely re-invest this one if they pay as much as 10naira although the Unaudited FS puts the EPS at 9.24 naira. Don't see how they're paying more than their earnings on top the jara bonus.

From presco's/okomu's interim financial statement, can one establish if increase or decrease is profit is primarily driven by volume only or sales(price increase). Can't seem to find it anywhere in the statement. Dancement has a session in their financial statement where this can be deducted.

You can subscribe to cscs to get all the details. However that is if you have a clearing house number and it's same for all the shares.

Secondly maybe through the portal for dividend yet unclaimed,search with your name to see dividend you are yet to claim.

Some update on this soakway.

We opened the pi collecting kitchen and toilet water and found out the walls had collapsed. Made some repairs and dug additional pits as advised below.

From your post you may have done the same mistake 90% of homeowners do. You have built a TWO chambers septic tank. Not actually an effective SOAKAWAY pit. A Soakaway pit by effectiveness should have THREE Chambers (see attached photos).

The soakaway lasted for three years. That demonstrates that your water table level is ideal. So the soakaway filling up so quickly after evacuation has nothing to do with the water table but all to do with the TWO Chamber. This is the reason:

In a typical septic system, wastewater from the residents flow into the system where it undergo a separation process. Heavy solids settles at the bottom forming a SLUDGE. Lighter materials such as grease, oil float to the top creating a SCUM layer. The liquid between the SLUDGE and SCUM is the EFFLUENT which is relatively clear water. So, over time at the bottom of the septic system, the sludge will build up considerably preventing the soakaway from soaking away waste water.

What may have happened in your situation, when the soakaway was new, there was not a meaningful build up of sludge, so the system was soaking away water and this lasted for three years. But after three years the sludge has built up considerably and when you evacuated, you probably only evacuated the effluent and the scum leaving the sludge at the bottom and as a result the soakaway was quickly filled up again because the sludge is preventing the soakaway from soaking away waste water.

SOLUTION
Option 1: Evacuate again but this time get people to manually shovel and pack out the sludge. The tankers don't soak the sludge.

Option 2: If you've got the land, add a third chamber. How a Three Chamber system works is this: The toilet waste go into Chamber One. The bathroom and kitchen waste go into Chamber Two. There is a pipe link from Chamber One to Two that direct the Effluent ONLY into Chamber Two and a pipe link from Chamber Two into Chamber Three to direct the Effluent ONLY. So in Chamber Three is only the clear Effluent without the problematic sludge. Chamber Three will soakaway effectively for many many years.
