Take that cut and buy the car while you continue to grow your investment if that's what you need now. However, if it's not a need, you can delay the gratification.

On the MAP scheme, customers pay out of pocket for it, soni don't see why they should be owed in that regard except they are on the Federal mass metering program. In that case, they might get owed like other businesses.

The business is good and I can only hope they maintain the growth trajectory over the next 3yrs. Price should edge on to 40-50 naira by then.

The EPs calculation for CILEASIING is wrong. The profit for H1 And Q2 is more than last year, so how come the EPs reduced?

I can understand the need to import for their lube business. Why are they not buying from Dangote? Their pump price is higher than most filling stations around, I will assume that is also contributing to the decline in revenue.

However, the disclosure centered more on acquisition than your assertion. it's left to be seen where all of that will go to. I will definitely buy the rights.

Interesting. Not sure we can assume Presco's for M&A, though. They've only just acquired a substantial Ghana asset, and I imagine it'd be easier and faster to raise debt for another opportunistic acquisition than to run a rights issue.

I don't know for sure, of course, but Presco recently issued a large 23+% 7-year bond that is callable in 2027. They might be looking to eliminate that as interest rates fall.

The release referred to a court case where some persons asked the court to nullify the AGM held last year. Presco is also seeking to prevent those persons from acquiring the company shares (page 5, note n). Any idea who those parties might be. Not sure it's in the news.

Dangote paid 30 naira per share for 2024 financial year. Why is Bua paying meagre 2.20 naira per share? Bua share price is 1/4 of dangote of share price. The share dividend should atleast be within the same range tho.

You usually will not pay what you have not earned. Bua made 2.18 and paid 2.05 irrespective of the share price. Same way gerugu at over 1000 has never paid a dividend up to 10% of its share price since it was listed. Check how much dangote made out of which they paid the 30 naira.

He paid almost everything (2.05 out of 2.18) he made last yr if the result is anything to go by. So expect at least 5naira or more if he makes up to 10naira by yr end. Also Larfarge OS is 16bln+ and Bua is over 38bln+

For your sake, I really do hope it goes as expected. Audited FY 24 result is no catalyst for SP in my opinion. I suggest you temper your expectations.

Maybe fortunes will improve in 2025 quarterlies to light a rocket under the SP or a left field announcement could do the trick.

What happened with Eterna will likely happen with Ellahlakes.

During the downstream sector bull, eterna tagged along all the way to where it is today where price doesn't match current valuation but only sentiment. Similarly that contagion effect from PRESCO and okomu will carry it high, how high before it takes some break and corrects is left to be seen.

Meanwhile, Champion has an ATH of 17+ naira, technical analyst pls how far can we go from here given the resistance levels around 11, 12 and 13.4. Thank you sirs

Exactly the point I am making. Maybe I have high expectations sha on dividend that's why I see it from that angle. The company is definitely doing well

Yes I know but the payout ratio isn't improving. While earnings is improving, dividend also increases but the payout ratio remains same.

i want to know how often a rent and improve situation happens in Nigeria especially Abuja. I.E a shell and core concept. I provide the shell.... the exterior walls, frame, utilities e.t.c. Then another person interested finishes the inside, floor, ceiling, bathrooms, electrical fittings, and so on. Itll be based on agreement , a no rent agreement for some years then would start paying on the agreed price after those number of years.

That appears to mean selling a building carcass. Not sure that is a viable option for anyone to be Involved in. BTW, how many years is usually the no rent agreement

Your bonus issue has not been credited. When they do, the percentage will change. Currently price is reflecting your holding at the current price which shows a loss because you bought at a price higher than current mkt price. Calculate the bonus you're to receive and add to current price to see if you break even.

Even after pledging their assets, auditors are saying they won't meet up if they don't raise additional capital as it only covers 11.8% and 8.4% funding gap of the business for this year and next. Make shareholders no expect anything till 2027.

Return to profitability does not mean the negative asset position recovers, it means the profit they’ve made that goes to retained earnings still needs to increase.
MTN have returned to profitability and are still in negative asset position but by year end, the PAT/retained earnings would have restored the shareholders funds

That makes sense. Anyone buying should not expect dividend
