Check out Ronaldo in his early years @ man United. Talented, show-boating and some-what indisciplined. He loved dribbling but lost possession a lot and was often lost in big matches. Yet, Sir Alex groomed him with veterans like Giggs and Scholes. Ronaldo didn't score a winning goal in a crucial match and the coach will bench him in the next.


Dembele keeps producing the goals when called upon. Yes he looses possession, but even Messi does it too. He needs a coach who will boost his confidence on the ball. He scored last night, like he had done so often already, yet, he's not even guaranteed to play the next game. This alone destroys the morale of any young player.

EV has been great in dealing with dembele. Dembele wouldn't last a half season with pep or klopp with his indiscipline.
And for those that are saying ev doesn't openly support dembele, you need to read news more often.
During the press conference b4 the athletico match, ev criticised the media's treatment of dembele and labelled it 'cruel'; even though that's an understatement.

Lad is just 21. I repeat 21 years. He's bound to show signs of indiscipline @ some point. Mbappe and others of same age bracket have also shown signs of indiscipline @ some point, but theirs are not as celebrated as Dembele's, why? Because we have a coach who doesn't really care about him.

You talk of Guardiola, then go and check how he handled Raheem Sterling. Now Sterling is enjoying his best football life under him.

Meanwhile, Dembele is better than both Sterling and Sane. All he needs is a better manager.

EV plays players based on the name, and not on current form. Didn't you see Dembele @ Dortmund? A good manager would have helped him develop into a better player.

I've never heard EV openly support him in the media. This is what great managers do to talented players. All we see is use Dembele like a test-run machine.

Dembele has saved our asses many times this season already. He deserves a better coach.

This season is actually very interesting in LA liga, the small teams have beefed up their squads with quality signings and are not afraid to take the fight to anybody. The respect and awe for big teams is gone.

Every LA liga team must be wary of Girona, Levante, Real betis, Alaves and Enspayol this season, they are minnows no more.

It's because both Barca and Madrid have average coaches, that's why they've been average. Give my team to Guardiola for example and see whether we will not start scoring 6 goals consistently.

The 1st 2 goals were due to poor midfield coordination, then poor defense. The 1st goal in particular was a one on one situation with Roberto. The winger just hit the shot and that was it. Suarez had exactly similar situation with a defender to beat, and what did he do? He passed to Messi that had 2 defenders on him already instead of taking on the single defender he had.
