I just called WES now because of this argument and the lady made me understand that the ECA evaluation package comes with the ICAP advantage automatically. This means that WES will store my verified transcripts in their database for life.

So if i want to upgrade to a course by course evaluation, i will pay 100cad after now and my evaluation will be upgraded but that WES can ask for my WAEC if i have not submitted previously.

She also said i should not have sent the scratch card as WAEC is still required to verify the results by email before WES can accept it. Its like the scratch card policy has not been finetuned.

@Jasmine17 how far with your futo verification..e never go

Decision to travel August 2017.
Family of 5
Visa office: initially London, moved to kyiv in August.
IELTS: September 2017.
My IELTS was written once and was perfect 9,8,8,8.
Spouse IELTS 7.5,7.5,7,7
ECA: Masters Nov 2017
Entered the pool Dec.
ITA January
AOR January 17th 2018
Medical Passed Feb 11th 2018
IP1 Feb 12th 2018
IP2 Feb 27th 2018
Then silence. Not even a single ADR.
Ordered 1st GCMS notes April 2018 everything looked perfect.
Then complete silence.
Ordered 2nd GCMS notes July 2018, this never arrived
Wrote Raplh who confirmed Eligibility and Security not yet started.
More silence, not even a ghost update
October 3rd 2018 ordered 3rd set of GCMS notes. Arrived Nov. 1st. Still same as April notes. My file had not been touched since March 2018. Eligibility and Security not yet started.
Wrote a 3rd mail to Ralph on Nov 4th who was gracious enough to respond (Ralph responds only once). He confirmed that my eligibility and security was not yet started and my application cannot be expedited.
Nov 8th, like a dream ! my PPR!

Checked email and profile this morning and saw nothing.

By 2pm during my lunch break, I saw a mail notification, I wanted to ignore but decided to check.

I saw a mail from donotreply@cic.gc.ca that I have an update on my profile. I was excited, that finally I am getting a ghost update / adr.

I logged into my cic acct and saw my profile was updated. I was so excited,thinking it was just a ghost update and that finally my file was receiving attention. I wanted to log out but I felt the nudge to proceed and click on view complete application which I did.

Nothing seemed to have changed, my background check was still in process, I was about to log out again, when I felt that urge to scroll further down to the mail section.

I saw I had a new mail, titled request letter. I already concluded that it was an ADR for fresh bank statement. Love and behold, it was the almighty PPR.

I wasn't expecting it to come without an ADR for updated POF since my application had been pending for almost 10months. I lost appetite immediately, and was was just screaming. I couldn't share the news with my colleagues, so I just lied to them that my husband got a new job!�.

I am immensely grateful to God Almighty who did not put me to shame. Delay is not denial. Though it tarries, it must surely come.

Thank you all for all the love and support.

Off to take my pictures and submit tomorrow.

This year has been so challenging. hubby and I lost our jobs, all our money tied at POF, we were feeding from Hand to mouth and struggled to pay school fees. Infact this September, we had to change their schools to a very cheap school.

Ok then I think it will be easier to reapply now, because you've gone through the process before; it'll also be cheaper. However you'll need to find out how much it cost to reapply for your transcript, and please use ICES in order to avoid WES wahala.

At all! he took advantage of my application stalling because it didn't include proof/receipt of online payment, which was my first contact's fault..they probably left my application then because of this.

lol one staff in exams and records hid my green file since August , and my first contact in FUTO didn't even know what's happening. So it was this new contact that took me to exams and records office, I met the staff, and he quickly brought out my file from where he hid it. He demanded I find him something after giving excuses that my application has to go through a lot of vetting blah blah. I didn't pay him a dime..my contact took it from there after I reprinted my proof of payment from FUTO's portal.

Breaking news was that ASUU shut the sch down and stopped academic and non academic activities...make my transcript Sha reach Wes.

I started with one crook in July, and it was hanging until last month I met another person who assisted me and it got to WES on Nov 2nd. The funny thing was that my application was hijacked by someone in exams and records, and the first guy didn't even know what was happening, until the new guy took me to the office, and it got delivered 3 weeks after.

Still boils down to the same issue of straight forwardness. He told me he wont be around yesterday but that he will be around today and will ensure that my stuff is concluded today.

If he had told me he wont be around for two weeks sef, i would have endured if i wanted and wont bother him. But even picking my call and letting me know what's up is alien to him. Worst is putting off the phone while its ringing and putting it on again after some minutes.

Anyway, just becareful bro. I don commot my mind from him and would count it as a loss.

You're probably calling him when he was at the interview bro, besides he has started my verification already without even paying him a dime for it, he delivered on my transcript that has being hanging and it got to WES in 3 weeks. I'm not supporting him for dodging your calls o, but to me he has tried, and I believe he will deliver the job..besides he probably said he will conclude your work today, because his girlfriend has being helping him run around in his absence (I met her in school on Monday working on my spouse's work) and he also has someone in the registrar's office I met too..bro just calm down and call him again tomorrow.

That your Futo guy is not straight forward. He has stopped picking my calls and turns of his phone when i call him twice, after all the promises he made. Funny thing is i have made full payment to him.

It depends on when you've being calling him. He travelled to Lagos for a job interview, and about not being straightforward; i'm not sure he is that type of person, we just need to be patient about the verification, because I was at futo myself on Monday, my brother that school can frustrate somebody. Anyways he should be back tomorrow according to him, so you can follow up.

ICES sent an email that they received it, but will evaluate once they get the required documents from her institution.

A normal Nigerian master debit card can pay, but because of 9ja banks exchange rates I asked my friend in Canada to pay for me.

Elo, this is wat i did, my certificate isn't ready yet i only have my statement of result. When i applied for certificate it wasn't ready but i was given a letter of certificate/notification attached with photocopy of statement of result both stamped and signed by the HOD exams and record which i attached with the ICES request form for my school to sent it alongside my transcript to ICES. I also scanned the letter for certificate/notification with the photocopy of statement of result signed and stamp with the original coloured scan copy of my statement of result which i uploaded on the certificate column one after the other in ICES website. I also did uploaded a student copy transcript issued to me on the transcript column.

This idea i applied was gotten from one off us here who wrote to ICES in respect to same issues not having certificate ready yet rather he sent the certificate/notification letter to ICES to review and they accepted it can serve in lieu to the certificate. Although i went extra length to make sure my school sent it to ICES with my transcript.

If ur spouse's school hasn't sent the transcript yet, u can rush back and ask for certificate/notification letter to cover the certificate not yet ready.

On this same thread, some once "quoted" me that the sister or so uploaded her statement of result and ECA report was issued to her, let's hope for good.

They say it does but tell your school to send it alongside the transcript.

I called a staff in spouse's school today, and they said her set's certificate should be ready in like two weeks time. Question is once it's ready, how will I include it to her application? Can I email it to them with my wife's email address? I hope we won't have to start telling the school to send on her behalf, because that's another long thing with FUTO.

Yes, they can, provided the school email is not a yahoo or gmail account, it must be an edu.ng email.

Statement of result goes to WES. ICES asks for certificates mostly. Ask for a refund if it is possible. This still buttresses reading the thread thingy.

I actually saw a post here where someone said ICES accepts statement of degree results if I'm not mistaking...

I just paid for spouse's ECA with ICES, but prior to paying, I didn't upload her student copy of her school's transcript, because it's not ready yet, but what's giving me major concern now is that her certificate isn't ready, but she has a statement of degree results, and I sent an email to ICES asking if this can suffix and they said no..what to do?

Used to be there, one of the ECA bodies specifically stated such and I'm sure twas ICES. my memory never bad finish reach like that. Thankfully it's been taken out.

you're absolutely right, ICES website stated before they don't evaluate for uniport and I saw it late last month

congratulations! Sorry in your task 2, did you write a two sided opinion essay or a one sided one? Like did you discuss both views in paragraph 1 and 2? Or you only discussed your opinion/view and gave reasons in paragraph 1 and 2? TIA
