ANAP foundation through its official twitter account dismissed the claim as a lie targeted at their ANAP & NOI polls ; which project Peter Obi as the frontrunner of the presidential election; Calling it 'an act of desperation of some persons to present the photo as a proof of bias by the polls'.
Today , Pictures emerged of Peter Obi actually highlighting off the same ANAP jet. Infact Peter Obi tweeted it himself during one of his campaign in Kwara state.
You know the difference? Peter Obi built all his legacy projects without borrowing a dime from the bank. It was on record that he built over 800km of roads for the good people of Anambra. How much has the Prof. borrowed so far? Your guess is as good as mine. Note, there is nothing wrong in borrowing but the culture of borrowing for consumption is what is killing us as a country and people. Borrow should be put or invested into productive ventures and not thing that will bring production to the state. Check around all states and the nation, our borrowings have always been driven to consumption and every government come and heap on the debt profile and we the citizens clap for them. Recall that the comedian has on several occasions declared that will not participate in any political campaign for any politician, despite his public endorsement of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
A tweep, @iam_deUltimate on Wednesday drew his attention to a campaign flyer with the skit maker’s face on it, stating “Thought @mrmacaronii said he won be campaigning for any party.”
Mr Macaroni responded to the tweet by revealing that he is unaware as his picture was used without his consent.
